• Zoom H4n Audio stereo plays only the left speaker - how to double?

  Hi all

  I've worked on several projects and I noticed that the audio captured by the Zoom H4n will preview in both speakers (and before as I slide the mounting I can right-click-> edit-> Audio channels and get options there but also hear it on both speakers) but as soon as I drag him in the timeline it will play only through the left speaker.

  Any ideas where I'm wrong or how I can double the audio? It is all already cut together so I hope that there is a difficulty which is semi time efficient to apply lol. Thanks a lot for your help.

  Since you are already done with the change, your quickest fix is to use the left audio effect fill (Audio Effects > stereo > left fill). Apply it to all the clips that do not play in the two ways; It will duplicate the left channel in the right. The fill right effect would be the opposite.

• iTunes does not recognize my devices after the last update

  iTunes does not recognize my devices after the last update. Has crossed all suggestions from the support page (uninstalling/reinstalling driver USB, remove Lockdown folder and so on) but still no joy. iPhone continues to ask if I want to trust to the connected computer, responding 'Yes' has no effect.

• Media files plays only not in Windows 8?

  For some reason, none of my multimedia files playing in Windows 8. This includes video and audio. Single AVI or MP3 files do not work if I use Windows native video app, music application or Windows Media Player.

  The video app gives me an error message saying "cannot play this point has been encoded in a format supported by your version of windows." Others I get the error messages include:

  "Can't play. Make sure that your computer's sound and video cards work, and have the latest drivers. »

  "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem while playing the file."

  I tried the system restore and it did nothing. Then I thought that it could run out of standard codecs, so I tried to install them and still nothing worked.

  What is strange, however, is that the videos play in windows movie maker and photoshop cs6. Also my itunes songs play either.

  Someone has an idea of what's going on? I appreciate the help! Thank you

  I'm not sure of the apps because I do not use...

  One of the problems is that WMP 12 will play no longer DVD discs or files due to licensing reasons...

  Another is that because Media Center is not enabled by default, WMP 12 is roll over some of the needed codecs...

  If you have Win Pro 8, you can activate the Media center for $9.99 and solve most of the problems...

  WMP 12 won't read DVDs, but Media center will be...

  There are some file formats WMP 12 will not play, and you will need a 3rd party player to do this.

  The way that a file is used on the client computer is determined by the way you set its file type on your server and the configuration of the individual browser to support. Basically, you have little control here, especially with an ASX file. A more accessible way to read audio data in a browser is through Flash/SWF. You can google for 'flowplayer' find a free option that does not require you to own Flash.

  I'm having a problem getting audio to play on my iOS devices (iPhone 4 and iPad Mini, both running iOS 7.1.2) but on the desktop and devices BlackBerry BB10 it seems to go well. All animation functions seem to work well. I have the audio in mp3 and ogg formats. I have "preload Audio" selected and "Autoplay" turned off. I think that the preload does not work on iOS devices (and probably others) but didn't he have on the cause of the problems? On or off it does not seem to make a difference in this case. I use a "play" button to start the animation at 0.5 seconds, and then in the timeline to 1.0 seconds I use a trigger with the following code:

  I think I've solved my problem. Move the audio trigger at the button instead of the timeline works perfectly. :-)

• Iomega Portable hard drive now does not appear under "Devices" after accidentally deleted USB cable. USB

  My Iomega eGo Portable hard drive was connected by USB on my Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.5 cable and I was transferring my iPhoto folder.  Unfortunately, the cable dropped and I got a message on my laptop hard drive had not ejected correctly.   I reconnected it the cable, but now, it does not appear under devices in the search page.  I also checked the disc utilities and it isn't here either.  I tried to connect the hard drive of my iMac, but it does not appear in the devices out there either.

  Although I have been using a Mac since they first appeared on the market and can usually work things, I find it more and more difficult with all the new technology.  Everything that used to be so easy, one of the great things the Mac since MS-DOS.

  If anyone can help I would be very grateful, because I have a lot of files on this disc of old Mac and use the Iomega to backup my most important files.

  The drive may have failed.

  Try different USB cables.

  Remove the naked drive from the iOmega enclosure and test it in a known functional wardrobe.

  The kb/2486635 described the lock of the hang the devices and printers:

  You can follow the procedure.
  You can first try to enable the administrator account by default on the Windows recovery environment. Follow the steps.
  Activate integrated admin system recovery options.
  a. click on the system recovery options command prompt.
  b. at the command prompt, type net user administrator / Active: Yes and then press ENTER.
  c. type net user administrator , and then press ENTER.
  Note: Please replace the tag with passwords which you want to set for the administrator account.
  d. Type exit and press ENTER.
  Once you enable the default Administrator account, you can log on to the default Administrator account, and then try to copy data from the old (corrupted account) user account to the new user account (that you created previously).
  Note: do not copy the ntuser.dat and .ini files.
  Once you copy the data from the old account to the new account, disable the built-in Administrator account.
  To disable the default Administrator account, follow the steps.
  a. click on the system recovery options command prompt.
  b. at the command prompt, type net user administrator / active: no and then press ENTER.
  c. type net user administrator , and then press ENTER.
  Note: Please replace the tag with passwords which you want to set for the administrator account.
  d. Type exit and press ENTER.

  I created a video demonstration using Captivate 7, then 8 Captivate. I have published on my computer as an mp4 file. When I play the MP4 file on WIndows Media Player audio plays but no video. My settings look good.

  I run when I have it loaded as content to Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro. Audio and video playback with no problems. This could be a problem in WIndows Media Player? This just started happening.

  I was able to contact Adobe Support. They had me try on the video release settings to change the preset custom YouTube Widescreen HD. This seems to fix the problem and the MP4 Player now plays in WIndows Media Player

• WMV file plays only not in AIR (RH8)

  I imported a file wmv format luggage and then TOC had a blank page that would link to the video.  When I generate the .air file and try the kickoff video, nothing happens.

  I just googled ".wmv file reader" and the overall results discuss the Windows Media Player!

  I just solved this problem. It turns out that Mp3 were not playing on uppercase due site in the names of files online.

  Changed the names of files to include only lower-case letters and it worked!
