  I would use my dataontap virtual appliance of Netapp communities tar file.

  Their installation guide, they show just to put this on the data store tar file.

  This tar file contains the following files:

  DataONTAP.vmdk

  DataONTAP.vmx

  DataONTAP - flat hard

  DataONTAP - nvram.vmdk

  DataONTAP-nvram - flat hard

  DataONTAP - s001.vmdk by DataONTAP - s126.vmdk (126 disk files)

  DataONTAP - sim.vmdk

  DataONTAP - var.vmdk

  DataONTAP-var - flat hard

  I put this vsphere on the data store file and extract it to ssh connection on esxi with the command "tar".

  All files are now visible to PuTTY connection on esxi

  1 / but when I browse datastore, I see not all vmdk files. (missing 126 files on disk)

  2 / when I turn, this virtual machine, I have this error "DataONTAP - sim.vmdk file not found on /vmfs/volumes.../.

  But this file exist on the path specified error.

  Configuration:

  ESXi 5.1, NFS datastore.

  Stand-alone node (without cluster)

  No vcenter

  Spatial data store are free and available.

  Checksum for this tar file are OK.

  The files in the archive are the data files, and not the descriptor. I guess DataONTAP - sim.vmdk is the file descriptor for these files DataONTAP - sXXX.vmdk . To ensure that this is the case, please attach the DataONTAP - sim.vmdk.

  If this is the case, here are the steps that should make the usable virtual machine:

  1. load the muliextent module
     vmkload_mod multiextent
  2. Rename the virtual disk file to a temporary file name
     vmkfstools EI DataONTAP - sim.vmdk DataONTAP-sim - old.vmdk
  3. clone the virtual disk in a format supported the original file name
     vmkfstools-i DataONTAP-sim - old.vmdk DataONTAP - sim.vmdk - d thin - an ide
  4. unload the module multiextent
     multiextent vmkload_mod-u

  At this point, you should be able to turn on the virtual machine. If everything works as expected, you can delete all the temporary files of DataONTAP-sim-old * hard .

  My fxml file looks like:

  Here, I want the value of the variable "currentSkill" in my FXMLController (static type: node), which should appear in the fxml file then :)
  My FXMLController looks like:

  You cannot set the value of the order, it is created by the FXMLLoader and then you can use it in your controller. Setting the variable in the controller will have no effect on the visible user interface. What you want to do (I think) is just to set the child of the node 'currentSkill' based on what you want to display. You can do so at any time by simply adding the 'children' currentSkill property. If you want to do it on the creation of the view, then implement "Initializable" as follows:

  public class FXMLController implements Initializable
  {
      @FXML
      private Group currentSkill;

  Note that you don't need new currentSkill, this has been done for you by the FXMLLoader.

  Y at - it a trick to make visible 3d obj files loading in CS5 in Softimage? The wireframe view works, but the strong view does not work. In a first time I tyhought it was a problem with my model, but when you simply export a primitive of the sphere (with UV) like obj and loading in CS5, I have the same problem. Then only a sample obj created in another program loaded and is visible in solid mode.

  Does anyone know how to make it work with the exported obj Softimage models?

  I was using an Acer laptop for a long time, and I was transferring files from my Canon T3i CR2.  I was able to view these files as thumbnails.  I recently bought a new computer, an HP Z220.  For some reason after that I have transfer files to the Z220, I am unable to see these pictures as thumbnails, which is very annoying when I know there is a special move, I want to watch.  Without a thumbnail, I have to open each file in the Canon software, which can be quite tedious.  How can I fix?  Is there a file on the old computer, which was developed without the knowledge of me, perhaps by default, but is setting a different setting now on the HP?  Two computers use Windows 7.  Has anyone else had this problem?

  I wanted to come back here and to answer my own question, as I found the solution in a very short time. I went on Canon's site and downloaded a codec RAW update.  After installation, I was able to view CR2 (RAW) files on the newer computer.  I found the update through various research, after that I reduced the problem of the relationship between Canon's Digital Photo Professional and Windows Photo Gallery.  Maybe when I was using the Acer laptop, I had already downloaded the drivers updated to the DPP and he did not know or just do not do.  I do not know.  The thing is, while searching for an answer to this question, I found others have had the same problem and need a solution.  The short answer: you need to update the codec for Canon Digital Photo Professional RAW.  Here is a link to the download.

• RX100 ARW files not visible in preview in Bridge CS6

  When we look at the Canon's RAW files (.) CR2) I can see fine previews in preview. Not the same for arw RX100 files.  I can see the thumbnails, but the preview window shows an icon with "exec" inside. In addition, adjustments in Camera Raw do not show in the thumbnails as with other my Canon 5 d II raw files.  Help?

  Yes, since bridge has already indexed file, you must re-create the cache for this file.

  Go to tools > Cache > purge cache for folder...

  I am trying to create my first Flash Video. I created the my video source FLV file successfully. From there, it gets hairy.
  
  I'm using Flash Pro 8 and doing the following:
  
  Open the new flash document
  Importing video
  Select progressive download from a Web server
  Select the Skin "SteelExternalPlaySeekMute.swf".
  Finishing
  
  Video appear in the FLA document with correct skin.
  
  The parameters are:
  AutoPlay - true
  AutoRewind - true
  autoSize - false
  bufferTime 0.1
  Content path TheDog.flv
  cuePoints None
  fake isLive
  True MaintainAspectRatio
  skin SteelExternalPlaySeekMute.swf

  Then I click on publish files
  
  It publishes the file 'video_publish.swf' and 'video_publish.html' in the same folder as the file "TheDog.flv" and the file "SteelExternalPlaySeekMute.swf". I have download all four files on the server and the video plays well, but there is no control of playback, the skin if you want to. What Miss me.

  As I have said - make your scene taller vertically. This is done by passing under the main menu modify-> Document (ctrl-j) and changing the height of at least 480 pixels high.

• Personal folders not visible in Thunderbirds after the migration to the new computer

  I moved my computer to a new Thunderbird profile (and edited profiles.ini to point to the saved profile. Now, in Thunderbird on the new machine, I have the records box receipt, feels Local, Trash, but file folders with my registered and categorized mail subfolders is not visible in the left panel. It seems to be intact in the Mail/Local folders/Personal Folders.sbd/Archives.sbd folder, simply not visible when I run Thunderbird.

  What should I do to get these folders and their subfolders again.

  You store the mail belonging to "a folder for each email account" in the profile?

  In other words, have you changed the "Local Directory" setting for these accounts?

• Folders not visible or accessible in Windows

  I got a laptop that died and I'm trying to recover the data on the hard drive.  I used xcopy to copy the data folders from the portable hard drive which has been placed in a casing adapter external and connected via a USB adapter.  The drive of the laptop computer was Windows XP and Vista is the drive where the files were copied.  Folders are not visible through windows, but can be found using the directory command-line command.  How can I make these accessible through Windows Vista on my destination drive?

  Hi Chris,

  Unlike the command prompt you order a dir on the drive? Then CD to these directories and dir to see what directories exist?

  Follow suggestion below and check with the question.

  Open the command prompt window by clicking the Start button, tap all programs, accessories and then click command prompt.

  Type the following commands:

  1 dir / ah (list all hidden file/dir)
  2. h s - r - one attrib *. * (will make all of your visible file/dir)

  Open Windows Explorer and search for if you are able to find all your files/directories.

  Turn off the power of optimized storage and copy the files to your Mac.

  1. Click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen.
  2. Select has about this Mac from the menu drop down.

  3. click on the tab for storage in the system information window.

  4. click on manage the...

  

  5 disable the storage element optimize.

  Using the backup feature in Vista, I managed (under Vista) saved 200 + GB of my PC hard disk laptop.  I know that it worked because:

  1 - unused space on the hard drive laptop declined significantly

  2 - I was able to restore files from the portable hard drive

  HOWEVER, according to the help Windows, a file "Backup set Date" was created, but I can't - it is not visible.  How can I make it visible?

  Backups are saved in this format: ------\Backup Set . For example, if your computer name is computer, your backup location is E, and you saved on April 2, 2006 at 16:32, that the backup occur in the value of E:\Computer\Backup 2006-02-04 163200. You would right-click the folder named Backup Set 2006-02-04 163200 to delete this backup.

  When you perform a full backup, a backup folder is created and labeled with the date of this day. When you add updates, this date remains the same, but your backup is not expired. The next time you perform a backup completes, a new backup folder is created and labeled with the date of this day, and updates are then added to that new folder. Do not remove the current backup folder.

• Property info 'Year' on the music file from XP not visible in Vista

  Under XP, I used to add a date which was recorded a music file (such as '2001-01-01', or 'unknown').  None of this information will appear in Vista.  Vista does not display and only allows you to enter the 4 numbers in this area.

  Is it possible to change this in Vista?

  I have spent a lot of time organizing my music files and was shocked when this info was not visible in Vista.

  No idea if Win7 has the same problem?  If this isn't the case, I could always upgrade.

  If your question is about the info tag shown in Windows Explorer, only the numbers that can be entered or displayed in the field of the year by their design.  Unfortunately, your choice of the tag of the year to keep the record full dates was not a good thing.

  I suggest that you use a music tag editor to edit your data instead of using Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player.  There are many available freeware editors.  A good editor like Mp3Tag will allow only the lot by moving your dates of record of the year in a comment field, which is suitable for the recording of dates.

  I don't know how Windows 7 handles the year tag (perhaps someone will comment), but I suspect it is the same as Vista.

  I assumed that putting computers in a home group could solve the problem, but I get an error that IPv6 is not available.

  If the offline files option is disabled, you will need to enable it, if you want to work with files offline to a network folder.

  a. open offline files by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type offline filesand then in the list of results, click manage offline files.

  b. on the general tab, click enable offline files.

  You will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
