• Unable to put files on remote server

  After building my site web, I am unable to put my files on the remote server using the button "Put file (s) to the remote server" of Dreamweaver.

  Here are the steps to put my files on the remote server:

  • In Dreamweaver, select Windows > files.
  • In the files Panel, local root folder of my site (on my computer).
  • Connect to the remote service by clicking on the button "connects to the remote host.
  • Click on blue arrow icon "Set files" in the files Panel toolbar.

  Here is an example of an error log I get:

  contact.htm - even - not transferred

  CSS.css - even - not transferred

  includes\banner\banner04_new_logo.jpg - Ditto - not transferred

  includes\banner\bottom_banner\bottom_banner.jpg - Ditto - not transferred

  Activity of the complete file.

  I am able to work around this limitation by the remote server on Windows | Files, and then select manually the files that I want to put on the remote server and to copy it and paste it in. However, I'm looking for a more automated process by clicking on the blue arrow icon "get files".

  I discovered the root of the problem. My web site is stored in a folder called/public_html in my cpanel. However, / public_html was not configured as my Manager root in my Dreamweaver site definition. Therefore, Dreamweaver was my a level of the above files / public_html, at a place where my Internet users were unable to view the files. This would explain why I sometimes synchronize web site or put files and receive a message indicating that the operation succeeded, then find that the web page was not updated really. The reason is that the updated files were a level above / public_html.

  I managed to solve this problem by:

  • Configure the access/public_html path by going to: Manage Sites | Choose the Web Site | Select Edition | Servers tab. Change existing server | under the root directory, enter public_html
  • Deleting all files duplicate of cpanel.

• Battery Notification icon disappeared and Im unable to put in operation (option is greyed out)

  The battery in my menu task notification icon disappeared about 2 weeks ago... I tried to turn on the hidden, icon but it is grayed out and could not click on that I am the full administrator and not on a network of group work or school. I use the laptop for very simple tasks, so I should not have group policy. I went to Device Manager and battery information says that I have a Composite of Microsoft AC adapter battery, a battery of method control compatible ACPI Microsoft, Microsoft... I did not perform any task in there because it seemed a little daunting and Im unfamiliar with this area of the computer as my knowledge is limited.  I have also noticed recently that I have installed Windows Mobility Center that has the power option. May - so that it affects the missing icon? I feel a bit silly to post this question but I've searched the forum and was unable to find the right answer to my problem... Can someone give me some other advice I could try... Thank you!!

  Check your diet for beginners Plan.

  Also, run the command SFC /SCANNOW. This will check and repair if necessary all of the critical Windows system files.

  Click on start / all programs/accessories then
  Right-click on the command prompt option and select "Run as Administrator".

• Is unable to put pics on my Centro

  I have a Verizon Centro. I added photos previously on my device without any problem, but I had to use the quick installation of the do. Now when I try to add a picture it tells me that the file is not compatible. It's just a JPEG of the unit itself, I used previously. Any suggestions? I tried to save photos as other types of files and that did not work. Thank you!

  Well, I didn't, but this morning I tried out the expansion card and then loading them. Worked fine and when I put the card in I just transferred the pictures on the card. Thank you.

• In Dreamweaver CS4, I am unable to "put" on my site, Dreamweaver is able to connect.

  Dreamweaver says that it cannot find the root of the site, but when I go on manage sites, it is able to connect, but cannot afford is not to put new information.

  It is a new problem that started right after I copied Dreamweaver and all other files in a new hard drive.

  Are you saying that you have not installed DW of discs?  From my experience, copy files from one HD to another program does not work well.  In the end, you need to install the right way DW can update records and other files on your operating system.

  The site files can be copied to.  But not software programs.

• Different accessories for different sets of letters seem to have the same number of reference and so I am unable to put them in folders.

  I've been sent images attached with which I'm doing a record. When I click 'save all' appears a message saying that the image already exists in the file, which is simply not true.

• BlackBerry Smartphones unable to put in place the BBM

  Bought a blackberry curve 9300 with a friend and had the phone unlocked the phone and put in my sim card. Everything works except the BBM. I get the "insufficant wireless coverage or your connection to the wireless network is disabled" mean exactly? I have 100 MB of data on my plan with virgin mobile, but im unable to access my BBM, HELP PLEASE

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  All data plans are not created equal... BBM is an exclusive service of BB, requiring a subscription to a data specifically appropriate plan to activate it. If, for example, you have a "generic" data plan, then that would not activate BBM. You must have a specific BB data plan and that which is sufficient to allow BBM. But only your mobile service provider can answer the question of whether BBM should or should not work under your specific data plan.

  MONITORING INDICATES TO BOOKMARK BAR BUT IT WON'T SHOW WENT TO CUSTOMIZE BAR BOOKMARK CHECKED AND CLICK ON CUSTOMIZE AGAIN WHICH SHOULD PLACE IT UNDER THE SEARCH BAR BUT DOES NOTHING. THIS HAS HAPPENED AFTER YOUR LAST UPDATE.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  Windows xp does not write on DVD, you will need to use a third-party, called software dvd authoring software.
  Your dvd recorder should have something, like nero or roxio.
  Save your slide show in the film by the Director, like this

  In this scenario, it is easier to add a custom "saveNewDiscussion" method to the service class that takes the text of discussion as a string argument.

  Then you can drag and drop this method as a form on the page that will give you an input field text for the text of the discussion. The button you will get will call the method and the PSA on the text of the discussion.

  The code for this method looks like this (I assume that your entity is named "Discussion"):

  In order to pair the watch to your iPhone, you need the former owner is:

  • Enter their Apple ID and password on your device, or;
  • Disable the feature via https://www.icloud.com/ by signing with their Apple ID > settings > my devices > Apple Watch-click > click the 'X' > click on delete.

  If they have already removed the watch of their devices in iCloud, but the watch remains locked, it can help - if they have not already done so - if they désapparier the watch via the app shows on their iPhone (even if the watch is not available).

  • On their iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > My Watch > tap the name of the watch (if indicated) > on the next screen, press the 'i' icon to the right of the name shows > tap on disable pairing Apple Watch.

  It can also help if you, as the new owner, try the following steps:

  • On your iPhone: app shows as well as all other open applications (press twice on the Home button, drag up on each of the app previews) nearby.
  • Restart both devices, two of them turning off and then restarting your iPhone first:
    • To turn off the clock: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; Drag the slider to turn off.
    • To turn back on the Watch: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
  • Then try to new development.

  In the meantime my Q10 be repaired, I discovered my old 9800 Torch. He needed release of Vodaphone and after installation of my new SIM EE, text and phone part works fine, but I cannot set up my email accounts I used originally - i.e. enter in address, then password.

  He wants me to activate my account of 'Enterprise' of info provided by my "system administrator."  But I have never had a "SA", whoever he or she is!

  How can I solve this problem?

• BlackBerry Smartphones unable to put up the email on bold 9780

  I recently came back using my blackberry on a Dataplan to collect emails towards the top.  Have implemented the ENCORE, but every time I tried to set up with my email it represents keeps coming up with error - could not connect to the server, then the user name and password must be incorrect, check your server.  All user names and password.  Crossed the cold - registered reboot the Blackberry, deleted the books service and tried to restore the accounts and continues to come up with the same error.  Have mail previously on this Blackberry, but have not used mail for about 18 months and has since changed to OS6 - is this a factor?

  There are request to leave mail on the server if you want get pushed properly to your BlackBerry.  Other than that, no other parameters should be required.

  Another thing to try would be to return the service on your phone directories.  I recommend this whenever the emails do not get to your device.  To send back them, in your home screen click Messages > Options > Email Account Management > Menu key > Service books > Send Service directories.

  Let us know if that does the trick.
