• Why is a file a suspected duplicate

  I have a file called wyz.tiff [never converted to another format] to a catalog folder.  I delete the picture from the file because I want to move to the folder that contains the hard disk but to convert the name of subject_1001.tiff [there are nine of these plans in a row.  Also the structure of the catalogue is identical to the HD]. However, although the file is no longer in the Catalog under any name in the import window it is still a suspected duplicate.  Why?  Is it because there is already an existing smart overview somewhere?  I don't want to uncheck the "do not import suspected duplicates" because that displays files that are duplicates

  They were in the catalog, removed from the catalogue and then I tried to import them in the catalog with new file names

  This certainly isn't an efficient workflow, you can simply move the file in Lightroom and then rename it (but, it would be simpler to put it in the folder you want in the first place if you do not have to move it later)

  I am attempting to import them in the catalog with new names from file [but in original tiff format]. This gives the grey suspected duplicates out.

  When Lightroom greys on a photo in the import dialog box, it is because this file already seems to be in Lightroom. No matter that you think its not already in Lightroom, because if Lightroom think photos is in the catalog, so you understand why Lightroom thinks that. Lightroom help says "Lightroom determines that a picture is a duplicate of another file in the catalog, if it has the name of file, even in the original; the same Exif capture date and time; "and the same size of the file. If you need to search your entire catalog in Lightroom photo with the same name. To do this, use ALL of the following steps:

  1. Click on all THE PHOTOGRAPHS in the catalog Panel
  2. Disable all filters (Ctrl-L or Cmd - L) one or two times
  3. Expand all stacks: Photo->-> develop all batteries stacking
  4. A search using the filter bar for one of these photos by file name

  I have regular backups of all data files (copy of the image) and created by oracle archivelogs suggested backup.
  
  I want to recover the database to a specific day, and not to the last transaction, on the last day of backup was performed.
  So far I've always had the last transaction recovery with isn't an option because a large amount of data is missing, and I don't know what happened, I just know that that day there before (last image retrieved copy) is very well, but I'm unable to recover at this point. I used recover until sequence, up to the time, but I have always applied the newspaper.
  
  So my question is, can I restore the data file and retrieve it, I mean sync with the database without appling archivelogs to keep the data in this file, as it was the day of the last backup, or use this image copy to create another database to get the same things, or is there another way to get data as it was on the last day backup was taken.
  
  Any help is appreciated, the situation is very serious!

  With recovery of block, you will have to make a full recovery, it is of no use.

  I understand that the songs are duplicated in Windows media player 11. I will try to help you with this.

  (1) did you make any changes before the show?

  You can rebuild the Media Player library which should deal with the issue.

  Method 1: Delete the database of Media Player and look for the question.

  a. Click Start, click Run, type %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.

  b. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

  Note you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  c. restart Windows Media Player.

  Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  Method 2: If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

  a. exit Windows Media Player.

  b. Click Start, run, type %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft and then click OK.

  c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.

  d. restart Windows Media Player.

  Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  Depends on this program was used to create the floppy disks. If you have used a software like Roxio or the XP CD burning program and use the drag-to-disk need them then you go to this computer, insert the floppy disk and finalize the disc.  Otherwise it cannot be played on any other computer unless it is implemented with the same program.  If you have used a program to burn it as a data disc and did not finalize, you must again go back and finalize the disc.

  Win7 creates a My Documents folder and a second folder My Documents in Public.  I don't want / need of the second series, but what makes it worse is when I save a scan or another document, it does not automatically go to the Public My Documents No.  Is it possible to delete the second (public) folder and run all my documents saved to the origin of My Documents"?

  You will not see the link if you are in the document library, not the documents folder.

  Open libraries by clicking on the left of any folder in Windows Explorer.
  If 'Documents' is not a listed library, then click library and choose restore default libraries to fix.

• Duplicates in all my files

  Number of files have created duplicates at the same time.  These files include .css, png, rtf, txt. When I try to delete them, the move to Trash option disappears.  Sources are the Pages, Microsoft, Quicken among others.   Really, seriously, ignore that "all my files. Really, close it and never look back. It's a terribly rough list objects that makes no distinction between things like the real images and their thumbnails, between different versions and so on. It is deadly.

  Seriously, there is no reason to assume that everything you see here is in fact a duplicate. You can do a lot of damage...
