  You need an another file name specification - as a number of original file - because each file name must be unique, and the format of Date-City-State alone does not create a unique file names.

  In the library Module go > library > photo to rename, and then in the box that appears click on the small triangle to the right of the field. This will bring up the file name Editor.

  In the file name Editor, you can select four specifications for the name of the file. See screenshot:

  You use the methods of standard selection on the computer.

  Select message 1, up or down several message and hold the SHIFT key while clicking on the message 2 = this will select message 1 and 2 and all the messages between the two

  Hold down the CTRL key while clicking random messages = this will select any message clicked on.

  When you have selected messages you can right-click and select move to or drag and drop. Moving to is easier and more reliable when you work with multiple messages.

  I will not try and move all messages from 700 in one shot. Break it down into smaller batches.

  System controls an environmental Chamber and doing trials on 4 of the UUT.  Room Enviromental is the shared resource and is controlled by the synchronization of thread only lot.  A UI TempMonitor of Labview (also synchronized lot) pops up, until you reach the target temperature and soaking time is over (so you can monitor returns to the House and see the amount of time remaining.  It all works fine in the system of warnings in.

  Actually, I was looking for a way to get the SequenceContext for the other active sockets that launched the TempMonitor GUI, so I could put results in the other sockets directly.

  However, I gave it, and instead I am launch the GUI TempMonitor in its own thread and have each socket to monitor the status of USE on its own with a separate VI until what the ramp / soak temperature is how the GUI will highlight Boolean StationGlobal that triggers the individual to continue.  More complicated, but also in the spirit of TestStand to things, I think.

  Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the attached draft
  2. Open Statechart.lsvc/Diagram.vi
  3. Double click on the blue Transition in the Middle, navigate to the guard
  4. Make a right-click on the enum constant-> replace-> select a VI...
  5. Choose 'Enum 2.ctl.
  6. 'Select the VI to open' dialogue box appears again. Reselect "Enum 2.ctl.
  7. Observe the first weird behavior: block diagram of the guard is replaced with the front panel of the enum
  8. Click on "Cancel".
  9. Double-click the blue Transition again. LabVIEW crashes here.

  Sorry for the incorrect post, I was talking with one of my colleagues on this issue. I was able to reproduce this problem on Windows 7 32-bit and LabVIEW 2013 (32 bit). I filed a bug report (called the request for Corrective Action or CAR) on the issue. The number of CAR is 421985. You can use this to track when the CAR will be fixed because there will be a list of cars that are resolved in the release notes. I also wanted to put that workaround for this error is just to add the VI manually, then delete the original VI (instead of use the substitute function).

• Model vs batch model in parallel

  Hi, I'm starting to develop a new machine that manages 12 DUT. I have 4 edits, 3 DUT each. The 4 light should go independently (in parallel), 3 DUT on each device should go in lot of sharing the communication channel. This application is the perfect mix between batch and parallel model; the solution will probably lie somewhere between the sequential and parallel model. Then, there are 2 ways:

  1. From parallel model and try to synchronize the DUT 3 in the same match. I could use a notifire to start the test then a synchronization batch share the communication channel.
  2. From batch processing model and try to group 3 DUT. I could change the 'waiting' for all test sockets.

  1st solution sounds better to me. How will you approach this project? There will be no PLC controls the machine. You would control all i/o directly in TS? I would like to order the machine with a manager who communicates with the TS (a state machine executables LabView). What is your feeling about that?  Thank you for your support.

  I'll give you my thougnt on your questions but id that another user will come with more suggestion, it will be welcome.

  I agree with you prefer the first solution.

  Basically, you need a parallel process model, and then you have the means to manage synchronization (declaring for example).

  When you say 'control all I\O TS' you mean have an adapter (for example, LV) called by TS that running the operation I\O? I think that it is correct.

  For the latter, the most common architecture is to have TS as responsible for you, test and LV code called TS but not the opposte steps.

  As it is an exe file regular to run every minute, I am facing a problem in which the cursor disappears for a while when the SQL statement, the execution to verify the status of availability in the SQL Server database.

  I have a tool nice lottle I did that works with a batch file. and he has 3-4 text file sthat go with it. I wanted to make a batch file which would act as an installer. make the MainMenu.txt, ReadMe.txt, Credits.txt, DISCLAIMER.txt fill them with the correct values, then make the .bat file that acts as the user interface. and when this launch the batch file under its weight made it has created (and not as a child of cmd window) then delete itself so all that remained was the new files...

  I tried the command IF [NOT] EXIST filename command because it's the only IF the syntax I have any slight understanding of

  For the first part of what I mentioned above, you can simply do:

  SET M =

  The M variable will then to null.

  However, for what is in quotes: No. get M set to null will do what you want.  Use the command I mentioned in my previous post.  Note the signs double% to get the result of %M % in the command of the user file.

  Then the USER - X 2. 0.Bat will contain the line:

  Now, from your original:

  SET /p M = type OK or CANCEL, and then press ENTER:

  You can see that if the M variable contains not exactly the capitals OK or CANCEL capitalized (that you specified), then the second half of each IF statement will not be executed. Your sample of what is getting written to the file USER - X 2. 0.Bat, you typed tiny ok and it works again the part of the installation of your batch file because he simply fell thru to the: part of the INSTALLATION.

  What you want is a batch program that allows to anticipate all possible ways that the user could answer "correctly". When you check if the variable M is equal to OK, it checks that specifically. All other cases the letters will not be the exact match.  That's why I ran three different lines looking for okay, okay, then OK.

  The fall same thru happen here:

  SET /p M = press on, then ENTER:
  IF %M % == y GOTO RUN
  : RUN

  Because the only thing you're looking for is there it will be Goto: EXECUTION of the IF statement , if (and only if) M is exactly there, but if it is equal to anything else it will fall through to the next line which is your: block RUN. As you have, any response is typical for the "SET/p M = press on, then ENTER", it's going to fall through and get to the: RUN block. The only exception is that if the user presses the enter only key, it will then generate the error message that I mentioned and end the batch file. That's why I used the! at the end of the two %M % and on the end of what we test, such as OK! This test if the user pressed the key entry in itself without the batch file, which gives an error.

  So, instead of this:

  (Upper and lower case for the block names all answer the same, whereas they are not nit-picky as the tests within the statement itself. I put the: before the labels of block in the IF statement so I know it's a label. I left the uppercase EOF because it is an acronym for end of file. And I use IF instead of If since it's a small order and I like it to stand. This bit is just my personal preference.)

  Another thing, you can make is for your first redirection in User - X 2. 0.Bat is to use the single > crush entire previous existence of this file. Then for forwarding the following him, continue the > who is the operator 'Add file '.

  I have a laptop that I put in place two hardware profiles for the specifications below.  One is anchored (work) and the other is in stand-alone mode (home).  I put my deskstop settings monitor extended with the laptop as main display when it is docked and the external monitor to the main when undocked view, switch off and moving between the dock and undocked States, my monitor preferences resume their single monitor with the main display as the LCD screen of the laptop.

  I would like to know if there is a way, either with a batch file, script VBS,... to set these parameters to display by running of the said script.  The video card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card.  Sorry, I don't have the info exact chipset.  I have set up 2 separate profiles in the application for the video card utility but only makes the manual setting of my display preferences, it does not automatically value them when moving between States anchored and released.

  Any information is greatly appreciated.

  You can easily accomplish playing music with the screen turned off and the system in one State of power less than reading with an application of Windows 8 as the default start screen music app or more other stored by Windows 8 of the store.  It is not currently possible for a desktop application (IE. Windows Media Player) to continue to run and use the audio stack.

  Connected standby modes are active and available according to the default configuration of Acer.  It won't if you have performed a clean installation of Windows.  If that's what you did, you must install the Acer drivers and run the commands in:

After of many calls/emails to Lenovo customer, the machine finally arrived on December 22, two weeks after the original delivery date (Oakland, CA, USA) not to mention that I had to cancel my flight/lodging the 17 in Germany which I had arranged before hand a tolerance of 9 days of delivery time would be appropriate. It turns out it was a bad management and cost me US $350 to reschedule my flight itinerary;

  On 31 December, I was on a flight to Germany for training of technique of 8 months. The third day after my arrival in Germany, the laptop screen is suddenly cleared and restart/connect to an external monitor both ended up a failure.

  So the next day (4 January), I called Lenovo in Germany Customer Service line and explained my situation and literally supplies to speed up the process (I had badly need for modeling 3D CAD to work); Guess what, the representative was told that he did not know if my warranty can be carried over to Germany since the original purchase was made in the United States. Including, I told her that I bought an additional 3 years international warranty and they should be able to verify with a small "click" with the mouse. on the contrary, it took them 5 days to get back to me telling me that the guarantee has been verified and MOST UNACCEPTABLE, they asked me to send the computer laptop for the filing of repair on my sense of the part I find time at the post office and have to pay for shipping... it is not how the company was performed in ancient times with IBM. In the old days, I would get an empty box delivered to my door the next day and everything I need to do is put my laptop in and picked up by the local courier. IT IS RIDICULOUS; This isn't how Lenovo should treat its customers; as a loyal customer of IBM/Lenovo for years, this isn't how you pay me back with...
