FILL - import an image. Pixel length limit? Help

Everything works except for this:

My muse project page size is 1000 x 23573. Its a page long scroll that has text and images. Pretty straight forward and simple.

I created a background image in Photoshop that is also set to the same size as my project muse - 1000x23573pixels.

When I import the file using 'FILL'.jpg - for some reason muse will scale the image down to about 40% smaller then the size actually it should be to. I tried using ' scale to fit or fill in ' etc... But, as it is just no chance distorts the incorrect image.

I did a few tests with lengths shorter to 1000 x 5, 000 and 1000 x 10, 000pixels etc... and it worked fine. But, whatever it is more 10000pixel, more length doesn't seem to work.

Ive also tried drag / drop my image in Muse. Same problem again.

Even tried File_ "Place" and import my base coat as a psd. But there also seems to be a limit with that as well.

Muse has a length limit when importing goods?

I do something wrong in the Muse or Photoshop maybe?

Is there another way to do it without getting a distorted image and to maintain the length 1000 x 23573?

Oz

Hello Oz,

Could you please take a look at this and see if you find something useful

What is the maximum size of the image (in pixels) a height that supports the Muse? I noticed that if the photo is too high, reduce the Muses. Thank you

Let me know if you have any question.

    This happens even with pictures taken on another device, not just mine.  My daughter told me that the phone fell recently.  The yellow streak isn't nowhere elsewhere on the laptop, right on the photos in LR.

    It happens when you import new images. This pourrait indicate that the sector where the pictures are copied to is damaged. But it could be a faulty card reader or a bad cable if you connect the camera directly to the computer. It's a hardware problem. Your challenge is to figure out where this problem.

  • Import RAW images in too small magnifying glass

    Hey guys, I just started my transition from Nikon DSLR to M43 with an Olympus OM - D EM5 ii. I'm having a problem when I try to import raw files into Lightroom. For some reason, Lightroom is not properly rendered preview. As you can see from the photos below, choose 'Fit' is not in fact the image of the loop. In addition, choose zoom 1:1 does not increase my zoom at all. 2:1 and more zoom more, however, it is pixelated. I can't understand why it's different than my Nikon imports. Everyone knows about this problem before? I have provided photos and attached the RAW file. I use Lightroom 6 for PC

    So just to be clear, that you suggest that the embedded jpg is too small to give insight in the import menu?

    The preview that appears in the LR 6.6.1 module import is 1000 x 750. I extracted the preview built-in with the help of ExifTool and it is 3200 x 2400. For some reason, LR resizes the built-in preview, which is not normal behavior. I suggest this report as a 'problem' here: Photoshop community customer family

    FensterB wrote:

    If this is the case, do you find that it is better to import them all, then library view to select and delete?

    As Just Shoot Me explained the import module is not the right place to review images. Import all image files in a single Destination folder where you want to keep them permanently (not temporary). At the speed of the import process select under file > build Previews > is 'Embedded or Sidecar' or 'Standard '. Embeded or Sidecar will provide faster import and allow full display screen if your screen resolution is no more than the built-in preview 3200 x 2400 resolution. If your screen is a higher resolution than that you will need to select "Standard". If you absolutely need to examine images for 1:1 you can select 1:1 in the menu dropdown to Import module "previews to build."

    Then use tools compare, choose flag, Star Rating, color, keyword and Collection of the library module to review and organize your image files. Once done, you can select all of the 'set as rejected' beating flag image files and delete them. Julianne Kost has some video tutorials. • Best format to import an image map

    Hi all

    I also create a module of branching.  The main menu image should be clickable, each subject on the image will take the user to another slide.  What is the best format to import this image into Captivate 8?  I tried a .jpg, .gif, .png and .pptx.  The words on the slide will look blurry when I tried these formats. Is there another way to put this image in Captivate, so that I can format each of the topics in the menu to direct the user to the different slides?

    Thank you

    Helena

    The idea is to create the image to be exact of the resolution, you will need it to be, unless you are able to create the image as an SVG reagent (Captivate only in 9, excluded since you're still on CP8). Avoid the scaling, don't use scalable output. I would even recommend having different clickable parts as separate images that can be used as fill in a form with exactly the same resolution (pixel size) button.

    If you need transparency in the image, the only choice is PNG. GIF supports full transparency as well but is limited to 256 colors. JPEG quality can be very different, you do not say what quality you used. PPTX is not an image format, I do not know why you include it at all.

    You talk about 'text', why not insert text in Captivate instead of turning it into an image?

  • Problem with InDesign startup script does not import XML images

    I'm doing an XML import automatically from a startup script when a document is loaded. I managed to get most of the content to fill, but the images are ignored. Everything works, including images, when I do a manual 'Import XML' through the user interface or a manual script.

    Here's my manual script:

    var myDocument = app.activeDocument;
    var xmlFile = File('/c/Full/Path/To/data.xml');

    myDocument.importXML(xmlFile);

    But the goal is to do at startup. Here's my startup script:

    #targetengine "session"

    app.addEventListener('afterOpen', function(myEvent) {
       if (myEvent.target.constructor.name !== 'Document') {
       return;
       }

       var myDocument = myEvent.target;
       var xmlFile = File('/c/Full/Path/To/data.xml');

      myDocument.importXML(xmlFile);
    });

    Here is the XML tag for the image:

    <Image href="file:///C:/Full/Path/To/Image/02.png" />

    I wonder there is a problem with the 'afterOpen' event reminder, and it is the reason why it works manually using the same method, but not in the startup script.

    I solved it by avoiding the event quite listener:

    main();

    function main () {

        // create a path for a file object
        var curFile = File('/c/Path/To/file.indd);
        var xmlFile = File('/c/Path/To/data.xml');

        // close app if files don't exist
        if (!curFile.exists || !xmlFile.exists) {
            app.quit(SaveOptions.NO);
        }

        // open the file
        var curDoc = app.open(curFile);

        // import the xml
        curDoc.importXML(xmlFile);

        // create a new file object
        var pdfFile = new File(curFile.parent + '/' + curFile.name + '.pdf');

        // export to pdf
        curDoc.exportFile(ExportFormat.PDF_TYPE, pdfFile);

        // close app
        app.quit(SaveOptions.NO);

    }

  • Import of images - does not.

    Hi all, I have enough new in this latest version of Lightroom and encounter some problems with the import of images in my library.

    First of all, I use a PC with operating system Windows 10. Lightroom version 2015.1.2, it updated today too.

    I am trying to import both my camera directly and when that failed, I dragged my images on the card to a folder on my desktop and tried to import from there, nothing helps.

    Image format is. Taken on a NIKON D3200, apparently supported NAVE according to the camera raw information pages.

    The only way I found that lightroom will accept these images is if I import using NIKON's proprietary software and convert. JPG. It's stupid because it makes useless RAW and Lightroom on my computer almost of no use at all.

    I am also having similar problems with import in Photoshop CC, it will play the file but insists on changing the format before he opens it.

    I'm outgoing my hair, watched countless tutorials and still not bring my imported as images. NAVE.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Here is a screenshot of the last attempt to direct import.

    scrn_shot.jpg

    This message means that you don't have WRITE permission in the Destination folder.

    Then

    1. In Lightroom, determine the Destination folder right (it's on the right side, under the Destination)
    2. In your operating system, go to the correct Destination folder found on it and change the permissions of reading & writing

  • Import the image of HTTP

    Hello!

    I'm creating a HTML extension which, among other things, captures an image from a Web server and imports this image to the bin/timeline.

    Using CEP importing sample on github, I can import local images to the timeline. But I'm not quite sure what would be the best solution to import an image from and HTTP address? As far I can understand first do not allow this natively. I think of two solutions here and wonder if anyone has any advise or help me in the right direction:

    1 create a solution that the download from the Web server to a local drive and then import this image into first.

    OR

    2 is it possible convert the image of the Weblocation a base64, then import this workflow as a picture first? I tried Googling and searching forums for this, but without success.

    I checked into this a bit. There is an import adjustment that allows for your to choose or not to apply photoshop clipping masks in your TIFF. He must have been checked and is now applied to all.

    On the next tiff that import you, select The show Import Options before clicking OK. Uncheck the box Use Photoshop clipping paths . I think you'll just have to do this with a single file, and then it must carry over the placed files.
