Aaahh... the old adage of an image equal to a thousand words. In this case, the words are long enough, because the image is > 280K.

O - kay. You may have a lot of tables, some bad colors, but the text is still the appropriate color. How does this sound: you click inside any table, and the script checks the current (*) text color. And then it assigns all the traits that color, and fill each cell with a 50% fill pattern. This means that you can select a table, run the script, select the next, run the script, etc. until done (or totally bored, everything which comes first).

(*) In fact, the color of the text of the first character in the upper-left cell. I hope this isn't a problem.

The script is quite indifferent to your selection: any where inside, in the text or with a cell, row, column, or even the entire selected table is no problem.

If I (put) understand it, you will need to divide the object. You can:
(1) select the object and Ctrl / Cmd + C + F, and then remove the filling of the copy and the blow of the original;

Sorry, it's pretty hard to explain in the description.
I want to know is if I can pretty well just select the brush strokes and filling on a coat of paint and have the strokes left alone.
I want to filter, and then fade brush strokes and fill on the paint layer but keep the sharp pencil lines, I made a paint filling and brush rubbed on a different layer than the pencil strokes, but it takes forever because I draw the image each time twice, using the brush strokes to go along the pencil lines so I can fill it with a color, if I could their blur on the same layer without the pencil strokes then I could fill just the pencil lines the lines with the Brush tool with paint instead of redarwing if that makes sense.

Hello gang,
I use the 3.1.1 configurator to build a Toolbox. At the center of it that I've recreated buttons that represent the selection of stroke and fill. These are scripted buttons that target the stroke and fill.
I had a bit of whimsy and decided that, when you click the outline and/or fill buttons, they should also lead to the Swatches palette out, so I added this second line invoke the script:
app.strokeFillProxySettings.active = StrokeFillProxyOptions.FILL;
app.menuActions.itemByID (16385) .invoke)
It works!, uh, somehow. The problem now is the following: when you click on, say, stroke, it activates and the second line of the script causes the Swatch Group out. BUT! When you click the fill button (which has the same second line of script code), it causes the Swatch Group to GO AWAY. You have to click the button to fill twice in order to keep the pop-up window of the Swatch Group, invoked in sight.
I wish she click one time and knowledge remain blown on the screen if it is already there jumped on the screen.

Keeps changing between the stroke color and fill color? Help!
 
			 
Hello world! While working, I have will have to draw the outline of something and then changes to color in, and as I do, I'm changing the fill color using the eyedropper tool, or the Swatches palette. Still my color doesn't seem to change.
I expect the colors chosen, and it's because for some reason, the program has my color trait selected automatically, even if I use the paint bucket tool, which means that me changing colors is only to change the line color and so, having no effect on the fill color - so I'm frantically clicking to color something with my newly selected color , with does not, because that I do not change the fill color as I thought I did.
What it seems to boil down to is, SOMETIMES when I draw or change a line, he commutes to line color, and change back when I use the eyedropper and paint bucket tools, as it did in Flash, nice and convenient. Is there a way to prevent it from doing this? Is there a way to make it how it used to be? It really starts to get exasperating.
Other than I really like the new step up to Animate - the new tools and little more pleasant little General updates do and I want to thank Adobe for him--and make it clear that I am not at all ungrateful for her.

As Colin described - to 0.34 video, you select the part of the circle (stroke) that modifies the active fill color to the color of the outline (you can identify the active color looking at the State of the fill/stroke button in the tools Panel or color)
The choice of the color swatch in the swatches Panel is the color of the outline (i.e. to the active color). You can just click Fill on the stage with the selection tool to change the active color to fill and begin your selection Swatch reflects in the painting of your filling.
The main thing is, if you select only STROKE on stage the active color is set to the race and if you select only fill then the active color is the Fill value. Swatches Panel and color Panel will work to the active color.

Cannot change order of stroke and fill to the text
 
			 
In Illustrator CC, I have a text with background colors and contour, and I hang outside the text, not half-n-half. From what I can read (for example Why can't fix us a line of text to the outside (as in InDesign) without having to first convert them into text vectorized?), the way to do that is in the appearance Panel, dragging filling to the top or the race down. But they don't change places when I try - I drag, but nothing changes. And in the Panel advanced stroke, the second and third options to align the lines appear dimmed.
If I saw the text, then all the choices to align the shots are allowed, but I prefer to do it with the living text. Is this possible?

Hello people,
I'm a keyboard layout for some keys I want to order a custom keyboard.  I am a beginner on Illustrator, I have the keys now set as I would like, but I have to convert all fonts and text used for vector data. Am I right to say that this is done by selecting all and then goes: Type - vectorize? If so, I did this, but my problem is with the second next step society that will display the keys requires me to do, which is to expand the embankment and the race. After you create outlines, I select all and go to: object - expand, but nothing happens, no dialog doesn't pop up or anything. What I am doing wrong?

Since the update to version 15.009.20071 and today 15.009.20077, I have no control of the drawing of the tools - lines always 'Reds' and the 'fill' is always transparent.

If you use the comment line and you want to change the color or other settings then first draw a line, select and right click it and select Properties.

Add a ' if else ' statement to apply the fill color to the second to the last character only if the last character is a space. otherwise apply the fill color for the last character.

Hi, I have for the redesign of a website of a shipping company. They are located on "Curaçao".  In Illustrator, I drew the following picture of Curaçao to make vector:

I managed to finally solve the problem.
I don't have to use the direct Selection tool and change the Anchor Points.
Other users of 'New' issues with that, I'll explain what I did:
1 import Image
2. tracing:
Draw the Image in "black and white".
Adjust the threshold, railways and the corners to your liking.
Make sure you only select only fills and no shots.
Ignore white and him vectorize the Image.
3 enlarge Image
4. Select the Image and go to the Panel aspect of it and double click on summary to reveal the fill option. (In this case "Fill" is considered the "Stroke" Image)
5. Select the fill color and adjust the opacity to your liking.
6. Select the Image. Go to object > live paint > make
7. Select the tool live paint to color the image.
After the Image is colored, you need get the opacity control. It was the trickiest part.
8 select the Image and Expand option must appear in the above. Click on expand
9 zoom and carefully, double click on the portion of the Image that has been coloured.
Be sure to select the right path and not the Group. It may take a few tries. If done correctly the color that you previously selected in the sides of the switch of the opacity will be displayed above.

OK so I use numbers to design a "schedule" for lack of a better word for a flight instructor course. On the summary page, I need to be able to identify the next sequence of flight for each student. I have a sheet that contains all flights that each student must perform and the date which they filled. So what I need on the summary page is someway to watch flight logs and determine what the next flight is to find the first empty cell under each name of students. I have no idea how to go about that though, so if you have any ideas I would be grateful

Here are two possibilities, both illustrate below. They are independent of each other and can be used alone or together.
If students all sequences in chronological order, and the dates in columns are values of Date and real time, you should be able to locate the first empty line using MATCH and MAX.
Because all dates entered will be 'today' or 'before today', a conditional highlighting rule could be used to color the background of the cell to a cell where a date has been entered.

Table 1 gives the master record. Table 2 shows the following sequence for the student and the line of table 1, which the sequence is listed.
Two formulas are used:
Table 2::B3 and filled with right: = MATCH (MAX (table 1: B), Table 1: B, 0) + 1
Table 2::B2 and filled with right: = OFFSET (table 1: $A$ 1, B3-1, 0)
This method is based on the sequences being completed in the order listed, as it seems the most recent (that is to say date the "bigger").
The rule of conditional formatting applied to all cells in columns B, C and D of table 1 fills every cell that contains a date before the next day with yellow, giving a visual indication of where all the next vacant cell.
This indicator is independent of the order of the sequences, because it depends on only that there is a date or before 'today' in each cell to be highlighted.
