• Find photos not marked

  I'm new to photoshop elements.  I used the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + q product to find pictures (there are many in the catalog).  All photos disappeared from the screen.  The show all button just gives the message "find: tags, albums, photos, videos and projects here to perform a keyword search Drag.  How to get back all the photos and how can I show just the pictures not signposted.

  In the folder location you can only search one folder at a time. To search the entire catalog, you need to be in the thumbnail view. Click on the Display button (near top right of the Organizer) and temporarily change in thumbnail view.

  Lightroom has a way of search directories for the photos not already in the catalog? I use Lightroom 3.4 and updated my catalog of PSE9. Looking through the folders in the library module I see upcoming pictures like 'new' that PSE MUST have had in them, but obviously did not. I want to these folders to import anything not already in the research library.

• I did the security two-step for iPad.  Apple support is a restoration that took it back to factory default.  Now I have nothing in iCloud I can find, photos, notes etc.what can I do to get back them.  They are still on my iPhone 5 s

  I have an Air of iPad and iPhone 5 s.  I did the two-step verification and wrote the secret code 4 digit.  I couldn't get into my iPad.  Talked to about 4 Apple technicians.  They guided me to restore my iPad to factory default.  My photos and notes and videos have disappeared.  They are still on my phone.  I never went to iCloud to see hat is here.  My iPad has said there is nothing in the iCloud shouldn't the same thing that is on my phone.  I went to Verizon and they said it was a problem for apple.  Help!

  You need start the game up more so that we can see if you have a backup, you can restore from. Go to settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings so that you get the Hello screen. Then, you configure the iPad, sign your iCloud account and when asked if you want to restore from a backup to say Yes and see what is listed to choose from for restoration.

  After the back if you don't see any options for restoring your backup.

• Contact photos not no projection in iMessage iPhone 6s

  I know that this issue is already several times. But no solid answers. Contact photos does not and iMessage. Parameters are the standard not zoom I tried everything everyone has tried. Is this a problem with Apple, or is there another solution. Nothing is clear at this point.

  To display pictures of contacts in messages, you must go to settings > Messages > then turn on "show the Photos of Contact."

• How can I change the cover photo of the project in another image in the project?

  However, after I deleted my old cover photo, I pick up a new photo on my computer. I can't find a way to choose a cover from the already uploaded images and in the project photo.

  What is the only way to do it? Looks like I should be able to scroll through them and choose a new picture of the cover.

  I was wondering the same thing and I think I found a solution for this. If you go to the project page - project to change content, after the editor has been loaded, you have a small black rectangle in the bottom of the page, content, coverage, parameters, overview, updated project. When you click on the cover, you can actually choose your new coverage among the images already uploaded from your project. I hope that helped. I don't understand why you're not able to do it from your gallery page, it is somewhat confusing and I hope it will pass portfolio team.

• Photos are duplicated in Finder/Photos

  I recently bought a MacBook for the first time and downloaded all of my pictures and videos from a storage cloud (not iCloud). At a later date, I imported all of these photos and videos of Finder in pictures and organized into albums. Now, I think that, in doing so, I have reproduced the files on my hard drive and so take double the amount of space needed. Can I delete the files from the Finder and not lose what I have pictures?

  Yes by default Photos will organize your photos for you, then the originals can be deleted.

  It feels a little silly, but I really have a problem. Recently, everything in my side bar of the Finder (Photos, Applications, downloads, Desktop, music, etc.) have disappeared. Of course, the files are still in my computer, but I can't access it from the finder; I must search for and type for them. I don't know how or why this happened.

  I tried to manually add some dos, starting with Applications, by dragging the folder in the sidebar. When I click it, it only shows half of the actual requests (probably the wrong Applications folder?). I tried to remove it by selecting 'Remove from Sidebar', but it won't work. I also tried to drag away by pressing option + command, but it does not, either.

  I noticed that when I go to attachments in the emails, the Finder displays Photos and music. I would really so he could go back to how it was, evenly. Any suggestions? Thank you!

  Click Desktop. Click Finder on the bar menu (at the top). Open the preferences, select box and add the items you want.

  The files are not really deleted until they are crushed (although they are no longer available through conventional methods).  A full system recovery crushes a large number of files.  If you decide to try these recovery programs, you should stop using your drive hard immediately in order not to replace more data you want to retrieve.  He slave on another PC and launch the recovery of this PC.  Even now you have definitely lost some of them if you use the same PC and as a result of the recovery.  If you can not do this (slave on another PC), you run the risk of overwriting the data with every action you do on the PC (but you may still be able to recover some or most or even all files - it's a matter of luck).

• Markers not appearing not to project an e-mail file.

  I couldn't find an asswer to this, but for some reason, the clip markers that somebody painstakingly put in a project to create are now not appear on my end so I can continue to work on the project.

  The project file has been transferred to creative cloud and I downloaded it then.

  I have an idea as to why it is, but I hope that someone can confirm this and possibly propose a solution to help us.

  I work with .mts files that I shoot with AVCHD.  So, with these .mts files match the .xmp files in the same folder.  My theory is that the markers are written in the .xmp file, not the project somehow file.  But, interestingly, the markers that have been put on the footage and interviews of multi-cames remained.

  Im hoping that if I replace the .xmp files they will appear again.  Can anyone offer some advice here?

  Thanks to all the help we have received on this subject. We arrived at the decision to meet and Exchange pictures for this project, but we have tried another method for our next project.

  For our workaround, after creating the project file and import our images, I created new sequences and named as if they were files to different types of houses of shots. (People, lights, location, etc.). Instead of setting markers directly to images in the Source monitor Panel, I put my entry/exit points and place our images in the appropriate sequence. Since the Timeline, I add my markers because these markers remain with the project file. We believe that this can actually help to speed up the process as well, because now my Publisher will be able to get around watching each clip in several bins to find my bearings. It can easily scroll in points on the timeline by seeing all of the tags above.

  He got the project file last night, linked to its images and it worked like a charm.

  With the help of LR4.2 - 'Show in Finder' surprisingly not working from any point of view on any of my photos. The finder doesn't start at all, nothing happens. The photos are on a connected external drive. Any ideas? Thank you.

  Updated - I had restarted LR and which did not help, but after the restart of OSX, it works now! Please consider this thread closed.

• Where to find the Notes of the PES in Lightroom?

  Until recently, I used Photoshop elements (PSE) to scan family photos and save them as TIFF. All the information that I found the hand on the back of the photos, I copied in the 'Notes' 'Properties - general' field of the PES. I did some tests and confirmed that this information is written to the file.

  Now, I use Lightroom - and very happy with it - but I can't find those Notes in the same files. I looked everywhere in the metadata, but just can't find them.

  I guess that the information added to the post-secondary studies should be visible in Lightroom, so no idea on where they could be?

• Sierra: Finder does not display the modified files

  I just upgraded all my Macs and minis to Sierra 10.12 and have run on something that looks like buggy.

  My usual use of a Mini special is transcoding many video files, and I have a collection of (painfully tedious) shell scripts that manipulate file names, do the transcoding and moves the files to one directory to another to make this work. In * most * folders that I see in the Finder when a file is moved to the directory it shows in the Finder correspondent discovered, but in * some * of them, the Finder does not update when a new file is moved to the underlying directory, is renamed or deleted entirely.  For example, I see there are 28 video files to be converted into a directory named FLOOR TRANSCODE using ls - ls in the terminal, but only 6 looking at the same folder in the Finder.

  These scripts have been working for several years on this material under El Capitan and Yosemite.

  Records I've noticed so far are all in the root of the drive HD server, not under no/Users. Finder appears to display all files when displaying the files moved to USB external drives for storage after transcoding. Another element that might be relevant, is that my normal view of the mac is via RDP (Remote Desktop "headless", no physical monitor in use).

  Have you noticed something similar?

  In any case, based on the title of your post, I will answer how to find files "changed" in the Sierra of MacOS.

• Mac Mini - Finder does not open

  I have a Mac Mini with os x 10.10 2014.  The boot disk was almost full and the finder does not open.  I open the iPhoto and deleted the pictures and then empty the trash in iPhoto.  By logging in as a different user, I see I have ~ 1 GB of space, but when I log on my main account and admin the finder does not always open.

  If you were able to connect as another user, the issue is not lack of storage - this is the same computer.

  Yes, your .plist file may be corrupt, or you could have an extension conflict that affects only your user account.

  Try the start mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system does a lot of cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.
