  I gave you the page for the drivers off the dv6000 CTO because there all drivers XP and your were only a couple. Yours came with Vista, I guess.

  Yes, the laptop can run a 64-bit operating system but I would install Vista or Windows 7 x 64 because it can be very difficult to find XP x 64 drivers for it.

  I'm trying to get a laptop with the ability to upgrade the screen, I struggle to find the models that can be upgraded to a higher resolution that retailers don't disclose extensions, it's really a pain and a need a lot of work from the user, is there any where I can find these?   From what I can tell looking at the documentation, the HD and FHD screens use the same reference number of cable.

  You will find the part model number like for example: PSAJ5E - 005001GR
  The first 6 characters (PSAJ5E) are important.

  I m wondering really why to install the 32-bit version if the 64-bit version is fully supported and you can find all necessary drivers, tools and utilities on Toshiba download page.
  As you probably know, 64-bit version would be better due to overall performance and RAM usage.

  Your laptop is definitely written but you probably searched on the wrong page. Your model is WE model then please look for drivers on http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modSel.jsp

  You want to the new installation of Windows XP Home edition? What you need is driver SATA and it must be loaded before installation WXO begins. This driver must be load with F6.
  I put t know which chipset your laptop model, but please see THIS page for how to find it.
