Find the host of customer information or customer by host information
So, I'm in the management of the computer configuration for a fortune 50 company and we have just a bazillion of machines we will manage using the Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCCM or just CM). He inventories all hardware, software, and use of our machines and handles very well. The problem is when someone asks me to provide a list of virtual machines on a host, I can't exactly do on VMWare guests/hosts. In Hyper-V or Virtual PC/server, I can question just a WMI class that provides Microsoft telling me that the host name of the guest. Is there really no way to do this in VMWare?
I think as a WMI class such as WIN32_VirtualMachine or WIN32_VMWare which has some elements of information such as the host name of each guest or IP address or MAC or something else. Something that would allow us to identify the host. For accreditation purposes, some products may be approved for the physical machine once and do not have to be licensed, for each virtual computer running on it. License of people want to know that kind of thing, so I need to provide.
So, if it isn't a WMI class, which I can't find, is there at least one feature SDK or something that would let me custom script and deduce the data myself? Even if it is not feasible to the guest from the host, maybe the other direction and ask the host to get the guests name attached would really help.
If we can get this, I'm afraid that hair sharp will make a strong case to move to easier handling of Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V and SCVMM, SCCM. Give me some hope here...
As Dave mentioned, it is pretty easy to get information on the hosts and guests from a PowerCLI script.
Once you have installed PowerCLI, you can do things like
Connect-VIServer -Server-credential (Get-Credential) Get-VMHost Get-VM
These simple cmdlets will give you some basic information about the hosts and guests.
This community provides many examples of scripts on the use of your environment vSphere PowerCLI.
You can take a look at the FAQ PowerCLI to get an idea of what is possible.
There are also many blog talking about PowerCLI.
You can start with the PowerCLI blog and follow its example blogrol.
If you have more specific needs, for example the list every guest with its number of vCPUs, let us know.
Members of the community will be more than happy to provide you with example scripts.

When I try to email prior to and since my yahoo account, I get a message tellingme the host, "xxxxxxx" is not found. It tell me to check that I entered the name of the server correctly. Counts said, topic-emailing, * address email is removed from private life *; Server: 'xxxxxxx' Protocol; SMTP, port; 25 ssl security; No, socket error; 11001, error: ox800CCCOD. I don't know why it is said that it is looking for this host XXXXXX, (not really the name), I would not have put in place with this name.
You use the site Web of Yahoo or a program, such as Mozilla Thunderbird? What I discovered, you must pay Yahoo to use programs outside their Web site. Are you able to receive emails?
I hope this helps!

How to find the lock and more information why the prg conc taking too long
Oracle Apps R12-Orader management
Hi all
I am new to Oracle Apps, we I run my simultaneous program
its taking too long to complete. How to find that there is a lock to produce in the table while that simultaneous execution of the program, another way to find why the simultaneous program takes too long to run and how can you speed up the process.
Yesterday we made a few changes to speed up the process with our DBA to accelerate the simultaneous program
The first simultaneous program takes 2 h 30 and after these changes taking 1 h 45. Please suggest it's okay
Connected with the responsibility of the system administrator.
Manager - set - Manager of the standard.
Set the value of PROCESS like 15 (instead of 10).
Set the value of SECONDS of SLEEP as 10 (Changed from 30).
Manager - set - Manager2 Standard.
Set the value of PROCESS like 15 (instead of 10).
Set the value of SECONDS of SLEEP as 10 (Changed from 60).
Any suggestion on how to find why it takes too much time.
Any help is highly appricatable
Thanks and greetings
Srikkanth.MHello
I suggest you draw the simultaneous program and analyze the trace file. To do this, mark the simultaneous program as Trace enable (RESP system administrator, Menu simultaneous > program > define) and then run the program and download the trace file after dealing with tkprof. Check which are the staements who take most of the time and try to optimize them.
It will be useful.

Single SQL query for the analysis of the date of customs declaration under the table of Stock codes
Dear all,
Please tell us a single SQL query for the below,
We have a Table of Stock as shown below,
STOCK_TABLE
ITEM_CODE
(item code)
BAT_NO
(lot no.)
TXN_CODE
(transaction code)
DOC_NO
(number)
BOE_DT
(date of the customs declaration)

We have to find the date of customs declaration (i.e. the date when the items have come under this particular table) for items that are not attached to any document (that is, who have TXN_CODE, DOC_NO and BOE_DT fields with a NULL value).
For each item in the table of actions, which is not attached to any document, the customs declaration date is calculated as follows.
- If (code section, lot number) combination is present under HISTORY_TABLE, the date of customs declaration will receive the UPDT_DT, the transaction code (TXN_CODE) is an IN or transactions (which can be analyzed from the TRANSACTIONS table).
- If (code section, lot number) combination is NOT currently at the HISTORY_TABLE (or) the transaction code respective to item - batch number combination code is an operation then customs declaration date will be the date of the document (DOC_DT) that we receive from one of the 3 tables IN_TABLE_HEAD that contains the element of that particular lot.
- If the case 1 and case 2 fails, our customs declaration date will be the last date of document (DOC_DT) that we receive from one of the 3 tables IN_TABLE_HEAD containing that particular item and the BAT_NO in expected results will be that corresponding to this document, as appropriate, to another NULL.
- If the case 1 or case 2 is successful, the value of the last field (in the output expected, shown further below) BATCH_YN will be 'Y', because it fits the lot. Otherwise it will be 'n'.
