  The ability to use the scroll wheel of the mouse for cursor adjustments has been removed from Lr2 as it was causing data loss. 'Some' mouse models you can press the scroll wheel to activate the function, but I do not have models.

• Configuration variable not found during execution by a task scheduler of the SSIS package. Works fine locally from the command window.

  I run an ssis job that works fine locally on the server application, but when the runs along a task scheduler it receives variable not found even if the variable is defined at the level of the system. SSIS package relationship parent/child and must pass the variable that has a value of the location of the configuration file. We tried to set the variable in a script and local setting, but none seems to be recognized. Any help is appreciated. The environment variable is defined in the package configuration.

  The camera works perfectly fine, except for the flash is not working. It looks like a grilled "bulb". Could it be? Or is it something else?

  We have removed the few services of FXM, but again, we can see that in the EU in FMS dashboard. Please suggest measures to clear those FMS.

  End-users objects exist generally in the administration server > data management (note the fxm and fxv nodes)

  

  but they may exist in other places (according to what dashboard they appear on).

  The caution would be to open a support case and support check that right objects are deleted in the right place in the data tree.

  Is it possible to do a silent install of the FMS on a Linux platform? Don't generally install us Xwindows libraries unless absolutely necessary. I don't see any information in theinstallation and Setup Guide for 5.6.10 i indicating there is a way to do it.

  Yes, it is possible to write in the FMS log within a rule or an expression of varying severity. As long as your logic is called in the rule condition, you should see the output in the FMS log file.

  Its probably an alignment problem - that is, the Panasonic is written outside of the
  able to read DVD computer settings.

  Normally, if you want to create CD/DVD that can play on standard devices (for example
  like the Panasonic) the MASTERED format should be used. Does the Panasonic
  offer a choice or formats? If the Panasonic uses MASTERED, then this is definitely one
  alignment problem. If the alignment can be defined in fact would cost more than the
  device being aligned (if you could find someone who could actually do).

• Help to find the FMS variable used in cartridge JavaEE to screw the CPU usage

  in the FMS javaEE cartridge dashboard, under the section of the JVM, there is a graph that shows the 'use of processor Threads.

  We would like to create a rule/alert when the CPU using this particular thread reaches a certain threshold.  But we find it difficult to know what variable data drives it.

  Please see the attached word doc shows this table that sits on the dashboard JVM.

  Does anyone know the data variable - or how to find it?

  It must be under your application server's JAVA virtual machine.

  If you create a new dashboard and you open the app server data tree and go to the jvm, then go to threads > cpuTime you will find these data.

  

  If you copy the 'JVM for deadlocked Threads' rule and edit rule to compare #cpuTime # threshold, it should do the trick.

• Question regarding the upgrade of the FMS

  We are modernizing our 5.6.2 to 5.6.3 FMS.  The manual recommended to make a backup of the FMS database.  Our UNIX based with a mysql db external system running on another machine.  Because I do not seem to have direct access to this external machine to login - I was wondering how many people bother to make this external db backup before upgrading their FMS.   I made the backup of the FMS itself, but can't seem to get connected to this computer today.

  I recommend it, but it's your comfort level if you choose to do or not.  I only got 2 upgrades failed within 5 years, I've worked with Foglight.  One of them was due to lack of disk space for the upgrade and the other has permissions issues, in both cases we set the heart of the problem and have been able to get the upgrade to always try the work successfully on a future.  This is not to say that you will not encounter issues, but generally speaking, I have not seen much.

  I use sawmill to analyze log files from this dedicated FMS, and I need to be able to collect information on

  (1) my VOD file - located inside the \program files\...adobe...\FMS...\VOD etc.

  (2) live broadcast: when I use GFFE to send a stream to my server, I would like to see these logs as well.

  I watched online in a few things... I found a document from Adobe, which mentions a SERVER.xml file and a tag that controls the logging. Mine seems to be enabled but I don't see any information about VOD I purge my viewers of the VOD directory, and I don't see any information on the live stream I send to the server.

  Newspapers of FMS is lit to be default, so you should see things are connected. Maybe you're looking in the wrong place. There are three types of newspapers - one is access.00.log which tells you in details about connections, jet start/stop and other things, is then diagonistic newspapers that tell the State of FMS (edge.00.log, core.00.log, master.00.log) & is third in application logs that you should see under each application log directory (this basically will display all of your instruction trace code from application & errors as appropriate).

  For all traffic related things - you should check access.00.logs - you should see under /logs

  I made a request for the cat using the FMS and struts2. I have the internet connection with some settings of proxy and under the domain name.

  I have deplyed my application on local server having Live IP. I want to access application of chat of an organization with some proxy settings using direct IP in the address bar. I am able to view my page web but not able to connect with FMS. but when I'm trying to connect same application using independent inter connection (without any proxy setting) so I am able to access the FMS. Please answer as soon as POSSIBLE.

  I'm new to FMS and a little confused on how I should configure things.

  Right now, I have a web server running IIS and a database server. Initially, I install FMS 3.5 on the web server and set the port 1935.  However, many of my users have this port is blocked, so this isn't the best option.

  Should I install it on the database server so I can put port 80?

  In addition, FMS works as a stand-alone server?  For example could you have two servers--one with IIS and the other with FMS.  When someone goes to the web page of IIS it can pull in videos from the FMS server?  I guess he can, but I have not found any information about it, so any help is greatly appreciated.

  FMS is a stand-alone server, then Yes, your .swf and html can be served from a server and your FMS can be on another server (or another network besides).

  That said, if you have system resources and bandwidth to spare on your server computer HTTP is running, you can install FMS on the same machine. You just need to add a second IP address of your network interface. Link IIS IP and FMS for the other. If you run IIS 6 or newer, you will need to disable socket pool (http://www.netfxharmonics.com/2007/07/Disabling-IIS6-Socket-Pooling). If you do not, IIS will continue to bind to all IP addresses.
