  Update: I uninstalled the 3.2.0.341 version and installed the version 3.2.0.116.  I have the same problem.

  I solved the problem: I had to fix the Security Client Solution.

  I noticed that if I tried to open the Client Security Solution, I had a similar error on css_banner.dll is not present, message followed by a message CSSLauncher.exe has encountered an error and that it would be closing.  So I decided that since the css_banner.dll belongs to Client Security Solution, it was logical to try to reinstall or repair the application.  I downloaded version 8.2 of drivers and software, and it offered a choice of "repair".  After the repair, my request for fingerprint reader worked.  I've updated the fingerprint reader to the new version of the 20/04/09 3.2.0.341 and it seems to work very well.

  I had a problem with my Tecra laptop. The fingerprint sensor does not work since yesterday. It also disappears from the hardware Manager. I tried to reinstall the utility, but the setup.exe will not run successfully. When I try to install the utility directly from the amd64 Directory installation will be successful, but the software is unable to connect to the fingerprint sensor.   You can try a BIOS update and set the default BIOS. If it still does not appear in Device Manager, the player is maybe defective or there is a connection problem. I'm guessing that the laptop is still under warranty, you may have to send the laptop to a Toshiba repair center.

  My laptop will not work. It is still covered by warranty Toshibas. The problem is the charger does not work or there is a problem with the connection inside the laptop. When you try and turn on the laptop a yellow light flashes but does not illuminate.

  I really don't want to pay for another charger that toshiba may replace it and it is that I could do without spending money.

  Are you sure that the update has caused the problem? If so, I think that a restore may be the best solution.

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device.   Bit of an issue, the wireless on my laptop will not work. It is certainly a problem with the laptop itself, the router etc are all fine. I can connect to the internet with a cable, but Wireless does just not all. The switch on the front of the laptop, which should turn the radio power, has no effect. Before this problem of switching on the position 'on' would cause icon connection Wireless next to the switch to light up, it's no longer the case. Furthermore, when I tried to check the drivers in Device Manager there are only one option under "Network adapters", which is the "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. Right click and select "update driver software...". ' result in a message saying that the proper drivers are installed. I don't know, but I suspect that there may be a lack of adapter or something?

  You should have 2 entries for network adapters. One for the LAN and the other for the WLAN.

  I have a HP Laserjet 1018 which works fine on Windows Vista 64 - bit.  I just built a new PC and put Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit on it.  The drivers on the HP support site will not work.  When I try to print something, it is sent to the printer and disappears.  I interrupt printing that document actually get sent to the printer and it appears.  As soon as I have some Nations United-pause the printer, the document disappears, but nothing prints.  Normally, when something is sent to the printer, the "information" LED yellow lights up momentarily and prints the document.  The led does not at all.  I tried new cables, uninstalling and reinstalling etc.  Nothing works.  Just to be sure this isn't a printing problem general, I connected a Laserjet 1020 on the new machine and it works fine.  However, it is my printer to work and I can't leave it on the new computer, which is a personal computer for my home.  It worked to identify that my copy of Windows 7 allows you to print, but is not a long-term solution.  Help?

  What is your system brand and model?

  What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
  What is the issue that you are experiencing that you think that the system restore will be remedied (or you are just convenient)?  System Restore is not a time machine, but of course, this should work if you think you need.
  Some tools Anti Virus 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly.

  For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:

  It seems to be a problem with the hardware. I suggest you try to uninstall and reinstall the CD/DVD driver and check if it helps.

  Follow the steps to uninstall and re-install the drivers.
