Firefox browser filled with stray pixels of movement

Just an hour ago I was browsing a web page and I noticed that a few stray pixels appear, then disappear or moved somehow a confetti effect. When I scrolling gets worse and pixels stack up and sometimes slow down the whole browser. I cleared my cache and update of Firefox and all my Add-ons, restarted the browser and even made sure it wasn't my monitor looking at my office, opening other programs and even check in other browsers. Firefox only causes this problem. It's really annoying. Is it possible to fix this?

Ah, I think I may have found the problem. I checked my graphics driver and he had an update. After update and restarted my computer, the problem seems to have disappeared. Probably should have checked it earlier, but I thought that it was a browser issue as it was only happening in Firefox. Thanks for your help!

    Hello

You can save your bookmarks as follows.

Launch Firefox, click bookmarks, click on "Show all bookmarks", click Import & backup in the toolbar and then click on Export HTML - choose a name for the file, select a destination and save this file.

After you have completely uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled, click bookmarks, click on "Show all bookmarks", click Import & backup in the toolbar and then click Import HTML, navigate to the location of the file and click open to restore your bookmarks.

  • I use Windows 7 with a Firefox browser. new flash player update Adobe... now, it blocks my computer!

I use Windows 7 and firefox browser. I was invited to update flash player to the new verion 17. (blah blah). 169. I downloaded the update. installed without a problem but come to find out now, everytime I try to go youtube my videos play but they are extremely glitch, pixelated, then after a bit, my computer crashes everything.

I tried all the suggested site patches i.e. uninstalled and reinstalled flashplayer. Reinstalled a previous version. Reset firefox to delete modules or extensions that I did. Nothing worked!

It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

    (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.

Which takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

    (B) in Flash, right-click in the press and choose settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration. More information in this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

    (3) turn off mode protected (Windows Vista and later)

The functionality of the safe_mode of the Flash player plugin has security benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. There is a new parameter hidden for this:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the flash and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable - protected mode to change its value from false to true.

It cannot take effect until all the Flash was discharged for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

    Any improvement?

I had this problem with Firefox version 15 and found out it was because of the theme I had installed. As soon as I changed back to generic theme of firefox browser was able to move freely again. Some themes work very well but there are some that causes this problem of the browser do not move with left click the top title bar.

  • Why is there so little space at the top of the Firefox browser to move your cursor to your Favorites?

At the top of the Firefox browser, there is a small amount of space to move your cursor to access the bookmarks. What goes in the new browser is that if you move a fraction of an inch incorrectly, you open the new tab instead of being able to get to the Favorites section, which is now to the right of access of the new tab. Therefore, return to the orange box of Firefox to try again. It gets mighty frustrating. More old Firefox users for many years which was very, very satisfied with the previous edition, I suggest a larger upper surface in which move your cursor around, or some sort of customaization of sizing being available, or the ability to use a 'classic' of Firefox edition. I am currently using Microsoft Vista. Thank you very much!

I also find the new boring interface. Try this and see if you like it better: open the box orange of Firefox and go to the Options in this drop-down menu, select menu bar. Then you will have a more "classic" view

  • Problem printing with Firefox browser

When I print my bank statement from my Firefox browser, he's dating a waste over-print allow is like a garbled VACUUM. If I switch to my Safari browser (which I use rarely) it will clearly show without waste over-print to allow or delete. See attached image. This can be corrected?

If the statement is a PDF file, it could be a problem with the PDF Viewer built-in to Firefox. You may need to use the download button (arrow on the toolbar of the PDF Viewer) to open the document in preview or another PDF reader to print the statement correctly.

  • Is it possible to see/work with cookies outside of the Firefox browser?

Hello! I'm looking for more help to understand more than info on the cookies.sqlite file. I use to add/remove cookies in bulk the exceptions list when I used the cookies.txt file, however now that I am unable to use a block of text to quickly paste the names of cookies, I think trying to modify my exception list became quite tedious. I was wondering if I would be able to use another method of work and to view a list of cookies outside of the Firefox browser? Thank you in advance for your help!

You would need a program of SQLite Manager to open the cookies.sqlite file and check its status.

However exceptions are stored is no longer in the basis of cookies.sqlite, but in a single file database permissions.sqlite.

You can give him a first test with the SQLite Manager extension if you do not yet have one yourself.

I am new to the Firefox browser and just tried to configure my Linksys router using Firefox and could not access my router, but had no problem with Internet Explorer. I was wondering is - this normal or there at - it set I can are wrong to use Firefox to fix my router?

If you have the NoScript extension or other blocking JavaScript extensions (addons > Extensions), you must allow (or temporarily allow) the IP address of your router. Any particular setting should be held in Firefox itself.

  • What happens with Silverlight plugin for the Firefox browser in September 2015?

I heard that Firefox support is no longer the Silverlight plugin from September 2015: it means all the automatic updates allows you to disable the Silverlight plug-in and it will have to be re-activated, or means that the platforms according to the Silverlight plug-in will simply stop working in Firefox browser?

For Win64 Firefox builds from 41.0 only 64-bit Flash Player is white listed to run in Win64. Release of 41.0 Firefox can be the first to have Win64.

You can still use Firefox 32 bit and all the plugins installed, 32-bit NPAPI then on Windows System. The 64-bit Mac OSX and Linux Firefox will always be able to use 64-bit NPAPI Plugins.

There is no real support of Silverlight for Firefox Win64 versions anyway.
