Firefox cannot load any websites
Regardless of the site, I try to open, I get the same message: a large part of Chinese, Timeout, and "the cache could not resolve the host name in the URL.
Check if the address is correct." Link to a picture below. I've reinstalled Firefox twice, started in safe mode, disabling all plugins, but nothing seems to work. Internet Explorer works perfectly fine.

Hello
Firefox does not load any website in a proper way. It loads the website, but not in an appropriate manner. It loads in the good column.
Another website are load appropriately.
Can you help me solve this problem?Thank you
You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:
You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.
- Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
- Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
- Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)
Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.
'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:
- Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Firefox has become very slow. It takes a lot of time to load any website. I reinstalled FF but the rest of the problem.
As a test, I downloaded Chrome and it is much faster.
But I love FF and would be very happy if you can help me solve this problem.Hi Reos,
When you reinstall Firefox it always uses your old profile with all the old things that you had. That said, you're lucky, there is a new feature that lets you "Reset" of Firefox. This will remove some of the pieces that might cause problems while it keeps your bookmarks and other important things safe.
Check it out and let me know if it works: Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

Cannot open any website because the proxy server refuses connections, why?
Firefox is open but cannot open any website. The message said: "the proxy server refuses connections" & "Firefox is configured to use a proxy server refusing connections." I installed the 8.0.1 version again. But he had the same message, once again!

all the site went "not found HTTP 404 error. The requested resource is not found. "and the"Firefox cannot load Web sites but other programs can"page is not help somehow
One possible cause is security software (firewall, antivirus) that prevents or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Why Firefox has randomly decided not to load any website?
On the eve of my problem was triggered, everything worked perfectly well. Today, as I turned it on my computer loaded up Firefox, I was greeted with "unable to connect, Firefox cannot connect to www.whatever.com. No Web site at all, no matter a secure site (https) and normal Web page or same Mozilla.org would be responsible. Yet another browser can. I have torn the support page seeking a solution and I really tried all suggested (clear all cookies, history, etc., remove and add new Firefox in the list of reliable in the firewall Windows, uninstall programs, deleting the Firefox in Program Files folder, then reinstall). Norton has been disabled even when Firefox was working, so he couldn't possibly be interfering. No update for the browser, my computer or anything else has produced recently, or if I downloaded all the malicious files.
I could not possibly express how frustrating it is and any help would be appreciated very much.
Windows 8
Firefox 27.0.1I understood everything. It turns out that Norton was blocking all programs on the web on my computer as it has been disabled. I knew that Firefox would not let me down! I will continue to use the best browser in the world!

I find some information about the SSL problems and that you have copied certificates internet options, but that still does not solve the problem. Firewall is turned off, while trying to solve the problem. Microsoft edge is able to get on the web pages that I have also tried with Firefox. Loading Firefox, it seems that his will display the homepage for a micro second then displays only a blank page, no error message any. Could not include any troubleshooting info from Firefox since then I can not to show anything. Any other ideas?
After a complete reset of the TCP stack, Firefox has been completely works again.
In short, I ran fallow on the start menu: cmd (ctrl + shift + enter) to run it as admin, then each of these command lines, if after you run the commands, the system asks to be restarted to complete, do.

Hello, I have a problem with surfing with Firefox. The browser starts but cannot access any Web site. The same question is experienced with Google Chrome. However, Internet Explorer works smoothly. Thank you
Some problems occurs when your Internet security program has been implemented.
trust the previous version of Firefox, but not more acknowledges your
update as being approved. Now how do I solve the problem: to allow
Firefox to connect to the Internet- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (for example, you are using the latest version).
- Delete Firefox to list your program of programs approved or recognized. For detailed instructions, see
Configure the firewall so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

Firefox won't load any websites at all
I have been using Firefox for a while more, as IE 10 would not work for me, but a few days ago Firefox has stopped working all together. I click Firefox and everything that happens is that it loads a new tab, and it has a blank page without web address. If I type in a web address, it "charge" for a fraction of a second and is still a blank page. I uninstalled and reinstalled and did not work. I have also reset Firefox, and it does nothing except that I get a useless toolbar. I have no Chrome, but IE works fine for me because I've downgraded to IE 9. I prefer Firefox, as it is a bit faster and more simply organized. Is there anything else I can try to solve this problem?
It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

When you click on the link below, firefox will move the site but a notification that it cannot check the secure connection to the user. Technical details the certificate is not valid (no other useful information here) and the button "get out me of here ' reveals a screen where there is a message saying the certificate is valid and is not necessary to add an exception. All buttons are greyed out and thus preventing access to the site. No overrule or any other method works, so we (= society) are forced to use another browser to access our suppliers e-learning environment. I tried to change the two flags in topic: config, but apparently those who are depricated because they affect behavior. (browser.ssl.override_behavior and browser.xul.errorpages.expert_bad_cert) - edit: apparently the link falls. Here is the link: https://wbt.progress.com/
There is an intermediate certificate missing (GlobalSign organization Validation CA) who is not sent by this server.
If Firefox has not saved it to move to another site in the past, then you will get the error unreliable.

Help! One day he was working, and the next day he was not. No update, nothing. I deleted and then got a new copy of Mozilla, but it did not.
All I get is the circle of rotation; no load Web sites.Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the < shift >
(Mac options) key and then from Firefox. Is always the problem? -
I keep having to go back to 11. Supposedly 12 should be faster. Instead, it takes minuets to load each Web site. I tried several beta versions of 13 with the same problem.
Have you tried a new profile for version 13 of Firefox?
Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.
See:
You can try the portable version of Firefox that comes with its own profile folder.
You can install multiple versions of Firefox via a custom of different installation folders Setup.
Do a custom installation and install each version in its own folder in program using several versions of Firefox.
Make sure you do not start Firefox after installation is complete.
Create a new profile exclusively for each version of Firefox.
Create a shortcut on the desktop with Pei 'profile' attached to the target to launch each version of Firefox with its own profile. -
IE loads websites very well. I tried all the suggestions of the knowledge base articles, including checking the proxy settings, editing about: config and booting in safe mode; which none have solved the problem.
Tools > Options > advanced > network
In connection settings, select use "the system proxy settings" and see what happens.

In two weeks, whenever I visited the following site, FF gave me a "the connection was reset".
Error message the connection to the server has been reset during the page loading... ». :
http://ADP.library.UCSB.edu/index.php
Since then, I was able to access it via IE.
Today the same problem occurred with this site, I can also access through IE:
http://Doo-Wop.blogg.org/I cleared my history and cookies, but the problem persists. I use Windows 7 and used FF 40.0.3. I've just updated to 41.0 FF, restarted FF, but find that the sites always give the same error message "connection reset".
Thanks for any help,
MarcWhat security software do you have?
It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or limit Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
See:
Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) to see if that helps.
