  • Firefox unresponsive or crashes every time that the computer running only firefox and explore has 5 GB of ram usage

I can't see more than about 10 pages without firefox crashing. I tried to use firefox in safe mode and it seems to work very well, but without stuff like ABP and my greasemonkey scripts, I feel that I work in the stone age. (1) would you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

    (2) try to disable the new Flash 11.3, protected mode of since this feature is currently being debugged. See this article from Adobe support under the heading of 'Last resort': Adobe Forums: how to fix protected Flash Player for Firefox mode?

  • Adobe Flash Player crashes every time that access to settings

    • Your operating system and version: Windows 8.1
    • Your browser (s) web & version: Mozilla Firefox 33.1.1
    • Version of your Flash Player: Shockwave Flash 15.0.0.223
    • Explain your problem in detail step by step if possible:  When you access a flash player, right click on the window window settings and select 'Settings', or by simply opening a Web page that queries automatically access the webcam settings, adobe flash player will invariably crash.  Sometimes, this accident does not happen immediately and I'm allowed access to some of the parameters and other times I'm not.   This seems to be coorelated with adobe flash get player my webcam.
    • A direct link to a page that illustrates the problem: An example of a page that allow me to access some of the parameters before crashing: the pituitary gland: Anatomy, Circulation, Hormones and more!-YouTube an example of a page that hangs on the description of the settings to all contract and an example of a page which simply crashes when loading due to the demand for access to the settings Omegle : talking to strangers!

Firefox crashes if you try to open the context menu on the Flash Player in Windows 8.1.  This is a known issue.  We don't know for the moment if it's our bug or Mozilla.  The bug is assigned to a developer of inquiry within the time of Flash Player 16.  Firefox is to kill the Flash process, which causes the plugin dialog box crashed to display, but it's really a blockage, and the player ends safely.

In the meantime, you'll need to use Chrome or Internet Explorer as a workaround.

  • Firefox crashes every time I try and open

After using Firefox on my laptop for years free problem a few days ago, he started crashing everytime I tried to open it, the web page opens for about a second then crashes and I get the dialog box crash report that what happens in safe mode as well. I don't have time to do any changes on my page of browser as it crashes in less than a second. I uninsalled and reinstall Firefox 3.68 and just downloaded the beta 4 to see if that would work, but same problem of . IE works very well and from there tried to charge dozens of websites on firefox that firefox is my default browser. As I said the site doesn't loads no problem but crashes instantly. Very grateful for any help

Verification of the accident report and the associated bug report, this may be due an index damaged in the database file that stores bookmarks. To test this situation, you can force Firefox to create a new bookmark file, and in the process, it has to import your bookmarks from a backup file.

First, you will need to find your profile folder, follow the instructions to search for a profile in Firefox 3.5 article profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data .

Once in the places.sqlite profile folder and rename it to places.sqlite.old, then try to start Firefox. It should create a new places.sqlite file and import your bookmarks from the last backup file. This should hopefully solve your problem.

  • V40.0.3 Firefox crashes every time you start from the top.

Road, passes this week, have been using Firefox for 18 months without any problem. Upgrade to 40.0.3 seems to be a problem. I change the theme on 40.0.3 of loading, but returned immediately after classic theme. It seems that, since then, I had the problem, but I've also updated Java recently too.

I added the id of the accident according to the submitted incident reports

The apparent cause of this accident is an application called Websense end point. Disable this program or add-on [if it is installed in Firefox] and see if the crash stops.

    See Websense for support.

  • Downloaded 7 FF, but every time that I load the page goes to FF updated version and can not go on all Web sites?

I used FF for 3 years, just upgraded to FF7 - but when I go to browser FF, I get a screen that says I'm on Firefox update/releases page and nothing happens, I can not load any website or search - basically it just freezes.
    I use a Macbook
    Thank you

One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • Firefox crashes every time you start

First of all, I was able to open Firefox and it crashed after a few minutes. When I tried again, the same has happened. I could start Firefox in safe mode. Now, not even that works. When I run Firefox, the screen goes black and the computer freezes for a second. When I click with the mouse, it opens a window which tells me that Firefox is not responding, so I shut. This happens in safe mode, too.
I checked after a computer virus, but there are not. Also I have updated everything (except Firefox, because I can not open it and did not update an option), but nothing.

This looks like a problem that occurs when you set as your homepage in Firefox Google. Try to start Firefox Safe mode again (hold down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox). If you can get it to boot, change your homepage to something else than Google or reset the default home page (subject: House)-see How to set the home page.

  • 9.01 Firefox crashes every time when connecting to the first web page

Firefox worked normally for centuries and today began hanging whenever I open it and it attempts to connect to a web page. I tried to reinstall, but I was told that it was unable to copy because the element 'libnspr4.dylib' is in use (even if I force - quit the application). I then Firefox to the trash in order to reinstall it and still had the same problem. Restarted the computer and the application several times; tried to start in safe mode, all to nothing does not.

Under the direction of add: The problem occurs with any Web page; before I reinstalled it, it would happen when I tried to 'connection '.... "for any web page. Now that I have reinstalled it, it tries to connect to the home page of Firefox on launch and is automatically suspended.

-Very well, as OP does not answer you, I'd try to find a solution to this problem. I do not use Cisco AnyConnect. I'm having exactly the same problem with the same details of system that OP provided.

  • Adobe Bridge CS3 crashes every time that it is trying to open.

I use a MacBook Pro with 10.9.4.  Today when I tried to open Bridge CS3, it crashed. No error. Just hang. On several occasions.  I removed all Adobe and reinstalled, but the bridge continues to crash. I used the menu "Shift/option" reset the prefs, etc., and it still crashes. I downloaded a patch supposed to bridge & installed even if my APP store didn't want me and bridge continues to crash.

I am a photographer and dependent bridge as my photo browser.

Other ideas for me to try?

Well, I don't know what just happen to gremlins, but get this:

On a whim, I have kept only the key shift key while trying once more open the bridge. And he OPENED without crashing.

I was afraid to leave the key... but I did, and the bridge has not crashed. I have traveled some photo files, closed the Bridge reopened... WITHOUT the SHIFT key & its opening. I have now tried several times and it does not crash. And while I'm happy that it works, I wouldn't hold my breath that it will continue to work.  WEIRD.

I'm going to re - start the macbook pro and see what happens.
