After Firefox 5, whenever I call a pdf file, I have a delay of about half a minute followed by the message "a script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding." You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script ends. The script is chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595. I don't know if it's Google Chrome, but I do not use Chrome on this computer. I han stop the script, but it happens every time. By clicking on "don't ask me" does not help.
This problem may be caused by an extension of AVG (tavgp) that is not working properly.

Only happened when I upgraded from version 4 to version 5.
I uninstalled version 5 and returned to version 4.Have now tried 5 again, but still the message returns.

When I try to open firefox, this box comes up and says to keep trying to stop the script and the only way to open firefox is to stop the script
This type of error message is usually caused by a problem with an add-on. In this case I guess you have AVG installed since this error seems to be related to an add-on of the AVG, possibly the AVG toolbar.
Try to disable add-ons of AVG that you have to see if it stops the error, for details on how to do this see Troubleshooting extensions and themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems.
-
Script: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595
Which indicates an extension does not work properly, perhaps that of moy.
- Open the Add-ons Manager (click the Firefox button and then click on Add ons)
- On the Extensions Panel, if you have any add-ons AVG, click it to select it, then click on turn off
- Restart Firefox to see if you get is more the error
If you do not have AVG, you can repeat the above process with other extensions. For more information on troubleshooting of this see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

Does anyone else get this problem? Happens to me a lot too many times a day I get the script has stopped responding error chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:2449 I have to stop the script but I often have to restart my laptop so that he could respond as sometimes it freezes just everything, even the Task Manager cannot close firefox sometimes, other times stop the script works but then leaves just so slow. Can anyone suggest anything?
There's more information on how to actually get rid of the "AVG Free" extension by reinstalling "AVG Free" without the Link Scanner component.

I'm unable to start Firefox. To get the message that it is already running. Cannot find my profile using '% APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles| '. Restarting my computer did not help. Because I had this problem I also noticed that all my favorites that I had copied in Windows Internet Explorer also disappeared. I use Firefox as my main search engine and usually do not use Internet Explorer. I am running Windows 7 on my machine.
Try this add on the profile folder
