Firefox crashes on Mac constantly
Firefox continues to break, regardless of whether or not it is in safe mode. If I just start trying to interact with a web page or visit another link, it will crash. However, this does not happen if I do nothing and leave it there. I tried reseting FF, nothing helps. I could not the accident directly from FF report, as it would break before I had the chance. »
Also, this problem seems to coincide with Google Chrome displays text truncated, although this is not an issue in Firefox. Any help is appreciated.
Try to write a check for corrupted fonts and duplicate and other police issues:

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

Try resetting Firefox.
Reset creates a new profile and attempting to import some settings of the old profile, leaving the old profile intact.

You see accidents even after uninstalling Flash on your computer and run Firefox in safe mode? Your response seems to indicate that, if want to confirm that.
If this happens, can you please send us the data from accident to accident too. If this is not related to Flash, and then view the accident data will help narrow down the root cause.

Firefox worked earlier today (August 19, 2013 6:30 pm EDT). When I opened Firefix after it IS 9, Firefox has attempted to perform an update. No error was given, but now Firefox does not start. Run a Windows 8 machine with all the updates and current security with no malware known on my system software.
When I try to start Firefox, the system shows the circle of"work", but then nothing. I created a new profile and got Firefox to start, but whenever I try to go to a website, Firefox crashes.

If I used an existing profile, Firefox would start and then close when I went to ANY website or any just not start. I shouldn't be no CRASH REPORT has been generated, just a code updated in the LASTCRASH file.
I have created a new profile, turned off all plugins, redonfigured my security suite of network to start automatically and restarted normally. When Windows came, I launched Firefox with the new profile, went to a few sites only to confirm it worked and then activated the security suite. No problems. I then reactivated some of my plug-ins. I had problems again when all the following plugins have been re-activated:

Firefox crashes constantly on the desktop, even in safe mode.
I have problems with Firefox crashing several times without apparent reason. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times FF and Adobe Flash. He is still, it happens even in safe mode. I'm a total loss.

Firefox 3.6.23 constantly crashing

I use Firefox 3.6.23 for almost 2 years now, but from September he started crashing from time to time when I used my search bar, but now it crashes every day on any site. Just today Firefox crashed 5 times in the course of 4 hours.

Everytime I open Firefox I get a message: "an attempt to change your home page has been blocked" and firefox crashes.

Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the option key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
and OK reboot.
Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

- (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
- type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter
Scroll down to the Extensions section, and then select from there until the end of the following table with the mouse and copy. Then paste into a response. It may seem a bit messy but don't worry, we're used to it.

Firefox crashes constantly. Have tried resetting to the initial state, by disabling the extensions (blocker) in normal mode and safe mode. Still crashes. Stick with Firefox because Chrome is slower than a dead dog and I'm not in IE.
