Firefox crashes until she starts

I had never put Firefox 3.XX - updated v. because updates do not work with some add-ons that I liked. Yesterday it stopped working - it followed correctly a problem, that was my Real Player, which also has stopped working properly. I tried to reinstall v. 3.xx, but then it wouldn't start - accidents before its opening. I have since tried many things: removal of real player, removing all the other programs that I installed the last days (for example, update of Flash Player or Adobe Air), installation of Firefox 11, the latest version, with the download from the official website of Mozilla - both on top of the fault c. 3. XX and also after v. 3. XX had been uninstalled. I have restarted my computer several times between these steps. Nothing seems to work

If you hold down the SHIFT key while you try to start Firefox 11, it starts? This tent to start is in Safe Mode, which will temporarily reset all customizations to Firefox.

In addition, run all Windows updates and then update your graphics driver.

  • 15 Firefox crashing at the start of the command line in Windows 15

    I was loading my workspace through a batch file every day for 4 years.

    This is one of the apps that I start Firefox using the following command:

    @start /D "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\" firefox.exe

    My batch file run and close without problem.

    Update Firefox 15, using the same order now links Firefox to the console.
    When I close the console, the closing of Firefox, when I open again since the standard shortcut, I have the "Firefox crashed.

    I also noticed that since the upgrade to Firefox 15, some calls to console.log go in the Console Windows while firefox is loading. In particular, is HTTPSEverywhere.

    When I drove back to 14 of Firefox, the problem disappeared

    As a temporary workaround, you can change the startup command to create a new command shell and run Firefox from this command interface. The following command will do what you need:

    Start "TempShell" / d "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" /B "CMD /C start""Firefox" "firefox.exe".

    NOTE: Thunderbird 15 also has the same problem... and the same workaround.

  • Firefox crashes at the start even in safe mode

    Firefox crashes and makes internet Explorer and also chromium at startup. Chrome works however after reintallation, but may break after a reboot.
    It was produced after an update of the anti-virus (avast and avg) both demanded a restart of the computer.
    I turned off the antivirus and reinstalled the browser (latest version), but it still crashes.

    I think I solved the problem!

    It seems to be the new version of "protection avg: zen ', it is to play with all web browsers, is not search for viruses, closes the network connection and not to repair...
    So I removed it and everything seems to work normally...

    Should have known that avg was problem since all the headaches began after its update.

    Thanks for all the help!

  • Firefox crashes until he could start up, can not even in safe mode.

    Hello
    Firefox has automatically downloaded and installed an update this morning and now it won't start at all. I tried to boot in SafeMode (shift-click to start), but I can not even there. It's just a crash after crash after crash and I am fast losing patience.

    After more digging, I found that update my version of RoboForm was the difficulty. At least until now... Let's see how long it lasts!

    If you use RoboForm that you can't, try RoboForm of IE Update, then try again.

    Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.

    You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

    Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

    Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

    This accident report is quite a few weeks old and related to the format PDF use and had an uptime of 352 seconds. It's probably nothing to do with the current problem.

    If you encounter a start incident which is not cured by trying questions Troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode and a new clean profile about the only alternative is to re - install Firefox.

    Before that it is useful to examine the system crashing for any other reason, other applications falls down, possibly Firefox isn't the only cause of accidents.

  • Firefox crashes when it starts. I tried to reset it; I uninstalled and reinstalled no question. The problems started after I changed my video card

    Crash ID: bp-1c18c383-28e4-426c-96a7-ff97e2130906
    OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
    I had to change my video card, immediately after this FF started crashing at the beginning.
    The graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 210.
    I tried to:
    -Reset FF;
    -uninstall, delete the registry, reinstall it;
    -Windows Update;
    -Update (311.06) video card drivers
    but no way.
    I can start FF mode without failure.
    Any help will be really appreciated.

    I solved it by disabling hardware acceleration in the FF options.
    There seems to be a conflict between FF and some drivers from Nvidia.

    I can't open FF after an upgrade. The first time I tried to upgrade I had to cancel the upgrade before completing that I was called away. The second attempt went up the end OK with no error reporting. However, I can't start FF. I can't not try safe mode as if I try to open while now shift key pressed to the bottom of the screen asking if I want to open it in safe mode flashes by quickly and goes directly to the screen of the fault. Ive tried delete FF and reinstall (without deleting profile) but the same thing happens. I don't want to try to delete particular profile because I don't want to lose my history and saved passwords.

    Thanks, 17.0.5 works very well.
