Firefox does not show preferences for cookies

Hi, I am trying to allow cookies for my Firefox and there is no other choice. I check "remember history", but below this box there is nothing more! (Unlike the procedure allow cookies photo).
I've looked everywhere and I can't find this option. I need cookies to manage my blog. Help, please!

To view the history settings and cookies, choose:

  • Firefox > Preferences > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".

  • Firefox does not show emoticons on Facebook.

Instead of emoticons, Firefox shows me the empty spaces everywhere in Facebook (chat, updates, comments etc.). I tried to clean up all the data, I restarted and it does not help. The only thing that helps is when I downgrade to version 29, so there must be a bug. I use currently, 33.1.1 version, the latest being, on 64-bit Windows 8.1.

Emoticons work fine on other browsers (IE, Chrome, Opera).

OK, this bug is triggered by hardware acceleration. I updated my driver from Intel, and everything works now.

  • Why is my firefox does not remember settings for bar add-on, spaces, etc.?

I put a few extensions for display in the bar of addons, but every time I put a few spaces and relocate, gets it more fuzzy space more and remembers him like that.
After defining the spaces, on every restart, it automatically grants them in his own way?

It happens only with me? Help, please?

Maybe this is caused by another extension that does not work properly.

  • Verification Code window does not show up for iMessage

    Hello

I have an interesting problem that I have been unable to resolve or to find and answer too.

I had stage 2 auth works perfectly for a few years, I have my macbook, iPhone and a number of devices configure everything.

My problem, on my macbook my iMessage (FaceTime) app is not active (formerly). When I open the iMessage application it shows my story but it is not connected. I have goto

    * Messages-> Preferences

    * Click on connect.

    * I get a message saying "an Apple id verification code is required.

    * However, when I click 'Ok' to clear the window above, no window opens to allow me to actually enter the verification code.

    * The code is successfully sent to my phone by the way. In all other use case phase 2 auth works fine (i.e. appleid.apple.com).

I'm a bit of a loss. I can't use FaceTime or iMessage on my macbook (however they work very well on my iPhone / iPad).

I have a feeling I'm missing something simple on a mac, any help will be welcome!

    Thank you!
    Jason

Turns out I missed something (what you all probably already known).

In some cases, you brought into the field password < password > < verification code >

  • Firefox does not load CSS for the local Web site

    Hello

I know that you have all seen this issue before but none of the answers I have found work for me. My site loads perfectly fine in other browsers, but not Firefox.

I have a local website with a style sheet which is saved in the same folder:

    < link rel = "stylesheet" href = "style.css" type = "text/css" / > "

I defined the character sets in HTML and CSS documents:

    HTML =
    CSS = @charset "UTF-8";

I have the last two updates for Chrome, IE and Firefox from today.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Have you checked the Web Console (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) for error messages?

Is the local server send the type of content appropriate for all files?

You can load the CSS file directly via the address bar?

You can check in "tools > Page Info > general" how Firefox to view this file.

  • Newly installed Firefox, does not remember password for all the

I just installed Firefox 12 on a new computer and after the first password, he stopped to remember the other passwords, nor doe he asks me if I want to save them. I'm not in private browsing mode, and the "Remember password" box in the Options is checked.

I tried to delete the files key3db and signons.sqlite as it is also recommended, but did not help

Would it be because I installed the add-on lastpass? I removed it, but maybe it caused some persistent damage?
    Thank you!

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  • After upgrading to W10, firefox does not show the button "watch later" on YouTube videos

I tried a few different videos and the results are the same - no button 'watch later '.

Perhaps because of the new layout of Youtube, but on my system Windows 10 the function of 'watch later' is now part of the [+ Add] section located on the left of the bar under the video window.

  • Firefox doesn't show popup for authentication

I use firefox for internet access through my University proxy. I type my password and my user account.
Recently, firefox does not show the popup for authentication, where I type my user account and my password, so I can't access my network of the University. I have not changed the proxy configuration (I checked it, it's as it should be).
When I try to access any Web site, I get the message "access to the cache of refused" and it says that I have to authenticate to access. However, there is no authentication window to enter my user account and password.
I tried to configure Chrome and Safari, and they worked perfectly.

  • Firefox does not remove expired cookies

I thought that all expired cookies should be removed automatically by the browser. but this isn't the way it happens in my Firefox (same behavior for different web sites).

close Firefox and even restarting the computer didn't help.
the only way to remove cookies expired since Firefox is: hand (which means I have to choose cookie in the privacy of the Firefox Options tab, and then press the 'Delete cookies' button).

Well, the good news: expired cookies are ignored by the servers (tested with a user through my virtual server script), but for some unknown reason continue to be stored off in Firefox.

Is it the way it should work?

Between the bug reports, it seems that Firefox does not remove expired cookies automatically. This only happens if you exceed the maximum storage limit of 3000 cookies. Deletion of expired cookies seems to be something that would have to do in time of inactivity, because he made a start or close does not adversely affect performance.

  • Flash for firefox does not work

I checked my computer and it says that flash works but when I go to play games I can't because msg says I need Flash. I've always been able to play the same games before now I can't. all parameters have remained the same, why is today different?

When you are on the site where the game does not load, do you see a notification icon in the address bar?

Notification plugin icon looks like a small Lego block, usually dark gray. If you click on it, it should tell you if the Flash is allowed for the page or if you need to.

If the icon does not appear, Firefox does not recognize the code in the page. If it appears, and Flash is allowed, then the page may have a difficult time in commissioning.

There is a problem with some Flash games does not not in Firefox 40. To see if the game you are playing is affected by this issue (asynchronous loading), you can try this modification of the parameters:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the IPC and pause while the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.asyncInit to change its value from true to false

I don't know which begins to take effect immediately, or if you leave Firefox and start it again.

Return to the page with the game, then reload the page (you can click on the circular arrow in the address bar) to see if it will work now.

    A little luck?
