  I know that you have all seen this issue before but none of the answers I have found work for me. My site loads perfectly fine in other browsers, but not Firefox.

  Have you checked the Web Console (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) for error messages?

  Is the local server send the type of content appropriate for all files?

  You can load the CSS file directly via the address bar?

  You can check in "tools > Page Info > general" how Firefox to view this file.

  Firefox sees only the first entry, defined in/etc/hosts to 127.0.0.1.

  Basically, Firefox does not see the changes to the DNS entries, that I made in/etc/hosts. Chrome is. However, later, I noticed that Safari is not to see them.   I have no idea why that works. But it does not resolve the problem for Firefox and Safari.

  I tried many things (typing about: config in the address bar):

  browser.fixup.alternate.enabled set to false
  tour of DNS caching.

  None of these things worked, but did all my config/etc/hosts the migration of multiple domains on a single line to separate lines. Hope this helps someone.

• My firefox does not work llook like the most recent version. I downloaded it on my aunts comp and in the corner upper lft, there's a firefox orange box but still just mine has firefox symbol.

  I had firefox for over a year and I recently installed on my computer of aunts. When I've done in the upper left corner, there was an orange box that says firefox on it. I have recently installed on my computer and it's always the same, as I had before. (Just the symbol of firefox) How can I get the latest version? It does not say I have the 6.2 or what is the most recent. Thank you in advance for the quick response to my question.

  To make Firefox look like other programs in Windows XP, the menu bar is displayed instead of the Firefox button, while under Windows Vista and Windows 7, the button is displayed by default in Firefox.

  Firefox does not at all. Would like to remove it and reinstall, however when trying to uninstall a message pops up that I need to first close firefox! IE works fine.

  This can help if you have had the same problem as me on the occasions.

  Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar. In the menu that appears, select "start Task Manager". Along the upper part of the "Task manager" window, select the 'process '. You will see a list of running processes. Scroll down the list until you see Firefox. Select it and press the 'end process' at the bottom right. Click 'end process' on the warning popup that appears. Firefox should disappear from the list. Now you should be able to start or to uninstall. If Firefox does not appear in the list at all so this fix is not for you. I hope this helps.

• Currently, Firefox does not open gmail or yahoo mail, it will be open to all other web addresses, which seems to be the problem?

  Since Thursday, March 20, 2014 sometime after about 16:00 my Firefox does not open Gmail or Yahoo accounts, I can always open web pages to other web addresses. I don't remember the updates or changes to my laptop during the day. I use Win 7 Professional and 28 of Firefox.

  I don't understand, I seem to be the only one with this problem. I use Firefox on Android, and when I have several passwords stored for a website, the password does not automatically.
  Things work very well when I only have a password for this site: load Web site and the password appears automatically with the user name.
  When you have several passwords stored for a domain name, no password is filled, but you can choose between all the names of registered users. When I choose a user name, the password is not met.

  Expected behavior:
  I chose a user name to log in with the password appears on its own.
  Actual behavior:
  I chose a user name to log in with, but the saved password does not automatically, as if I chose a user name from a list of saved form data.

  Steps to reproduce:
  -Use Firefox for Android.

  I have two theories:

  1. If you use a master password and sync again, passwords will not be synchronized.
  2. What preferences on mobile you in settings > privacy > "password main user ' and 'Remember password' and what preferences on Office: menu Tools > Options > Security >"remember passwords for sites ".

  Hello mccormick.lee, please try to download the full installation file for the current version of firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and install it on top of your current installation.

  Security is set to "remember passwords" and privacy settings does NOT erase passwords. When I go to connect to a site of the bubble 'Remember password' is displayed, but does nothing when I click on "Save password". He hang around for a few seconds then disappears. When I come back on the Firefox site does not enter my username and password but still asking if I want to remember the password.

  If starting in safe mode fix then try this:

  It is possible that there is a problem with key3db and signons.sqlite files that store the encrypted names and passwords in Firefox.
  
  Rename signons3.txt and signons.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder.
  
  You can add .old files (key3.db.old and signons.sqlite.old) names or move them to another folder to make it possible to cancel the action.
  
  You must define a new master password after renaming or removing the signons3.txt and all the currently saved passwords are lost.
  
  If that worked, then you can delete the renamed files that are no longer needed.

  I forgot the user name I need to access the e-mail settings, I have the password but not the username. I tried all possible user names, I would have given, but none of them works.

  What is the format of the username? It of just a username like "James31" or is it like "[email protected]".

  Can be completely different from your address of Mali? for example email address could be '[email protected]', then the user name should be 'x' or can be like "xdfak"?

  It doesn't have to be your email address.

  It can be simply "joesmith" or jsmith and does not necessarily match your blackberry.net email address. It may, but is not necessary.

  Joseph2 is not an account name - is the name of the profile folder. If the name of the profile folder generally conform with the name of the account, there is sometimes a difference. There is nothing to worry about - just leave it as it is. Change it and can cause serious problems.

  (1) export bookmarks in Firefox on the PC: Firefox bookmarks export to a HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks

  (2) copy this file to the laptop (for example, USB flash drive, by e-mail, or however is convenient)

  (3) import file HTML code in Firefox on the laptop: import bookmarks to an HTML file

  Please note: in the knowledge base, you will also see references to a backup/restore process. Do not use backup/restore to combine different sets of bookmarks as it does a thorough cleaning before restoring. Only use import/export to combine bookmarks.

  I'm trying to do something simple and to include the user name in a subject line of a stage of OdiSendMail.  In the Expression Editor for the topic, I use the following syntax, but in vain.

  Send data to HFM starts by < % = odiRef.getUser (String) % >

  What a friend missing here?  I need to replace the string with something like 'UserName' or is there a different setting to spend?  I tried the username, but it did not work.  This syntax is correct or do I have to enter another way?
