Firefox has struggle to recover the windows and tabs. I closed everything was open, but every 1 to 2 minutes in one site Firefox stops and I have to quit and reopen and restore. It is now 2 weeks?
I'll be in a Web site and the spinney wheel tells me that Firefox is stuck. I have to leave Firefox, then open it. The message "Firefox is embarrassed" appears and tells me he "struggles to recover windows and tabs. He tells me to close recently opened websites... then I restore my site.
This ritual occurs every few minutes over and over again.
How to do things to normal?
I have the same problem. Then please give us a solution. Appreciate it.

For these past few days, whenever I open Firefox, I get "well, this is awkward!" Firefox has struggle to recover your windows and tabs. I'm on version 20.0 on an IMac with Mountain Lion. I don't want back windows or tabs. I still have to close everything and leave Firefox when I'm done with it.
If I choose Select 'Close', then I get an empty stage and not my home page. If I 'restore' I get what is listed, but I don't really want to. I want as my home page. Y at - it a fix for this problem?A possible cause is that you first close all Firefox Windows and then close the Firefox application.
Some noted that closing of Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is always open works for them.
- Bug 845681 - close all windows and abandonment of Firefox eventually led to about: sessionrestore to appear the next time you start

Windows 7 backup works, but does not appear in the backup and restore control panel
I have Windows 7 Pro and have had a running backup on a network drive for a couple of years now. So far it has worked well.
Recently, my wife asked me to postpone this off-peak hours and I went directly to the Task Scheduler and update annex it. I also had to modify the scheduled task to wake up my laptop computer to perform the backup. Now, after making these changes, I can see the event log that the backup started at time exact (01:00) he succeeded 30 minutes later. I can also see on my network drive that it saved at the right time and the registry keys indicate the location of the network right. However, when I go in the backup and restore control panel, he told me to "backup Windows has not been setup" (which previously he would show me the network location and the last backup time and the other at the request of autonomy.)I know that backups are still viable can I do a restore to the correct network location and properly, it shows me that I have backups on this drive. So, why the backup and restore screen is now showing me that no backup copy has been put up any ideas?I'm a little worried that this change to the schedule has whacked a key somewhere that is using the backup and restore screen and finally the backups will fail and I don't notice unless I am constantly reviewing the event logs (which, for domestic use, isn't it convenient for me).Tim,

Why Firefox do not recover my windows and tabs 98% of the time at startup?
Almost everytime I close Firefox I go back to my homepage first.
Almost whenever I boot Firefox I get the message on the screen ' well, this is embarrassing, Firefox can not recover your windows and tabs "and I have to select Restore Session.Try using ' Firefox/file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave ";) Linux: "file > exit ') to close Firefox if you're doing that by clicking on the X close in the title bar.

How can I recover the files and programs before a system restore? my document folders are all empty and my programs will not open!
I know they are there and hidden somewhere, but this restoration took my settings of the computer to 2004! We lost all our data, our software that we use to operate our company at home, our quickbooks that has all our financial data, family photos, videos, Outlook will work not so no e-mail, all turned in time and 6 years ' worth of documents have disappeared.
What happeneded was that I was trying to upgrade to quickbooks software when I got an error, I cancelled out of the facility, then restarted and that's when I got an error hal.dll something? I thought about a system restore would allow me to go back in time to just before when the error occurred, but he basically took my computer back to factory settings, so all the programs that I installed and paid hundreds of dollars for the past six years has disappeared, Microsoft Office and very expensive construction estimating software that we wil have to pay once AGAIN for If I can't get this program working properly.
I am a fool! I can't believe what's happening.
Someone at - it instructions on how I can retrieve either the programs and data that I need specifically or how to go and seek shade from the files I read online on and restore my computer for about 12 hours ago?
Thank you all!
Sally in Georgia
Looks like you did a system rather than a system restore recovery. If you have inserted a disc supplied with your machine and booted from it, you probably erased the disc and installed the original operating system provided with your computer. Usually, a step in this recovery is to do a full format or quick of your drive. If you did a full format, your data is permanently lost. With a quick format, your data may still be there, somewhere but inaccessible by normal means. Applications must generally be installed, in order to recover the files probably will not help unless you have the original installation media. Your other data files (images, videos, financial data) may be salvageable, but at this point, it would be advisable to take your computer or your disk to a business/professional who is experienced with data disc recovery. It will be cheap and there is no guarantee.
Impatient, remember investigate you a backup strategy for your computer and critical data. Hard drives can go wrong with little or no warning.

You can save custom desktop icon position and restore it if necessary, using the Layout.dll of Microsoft shell extension. REF:Save and restore available to the icon on the desktop in Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7. Or try DesktopOK Freeware - save and restore the desktop icons.

I used the backup and restore of the backup C on pc. Then tried to open the files saved with IE. IE went into free fall. ???I have no idea what opened the backup files when you have double-clicked, or if you will not quote you took after doing this... However, the official way to 'Browse' the content of the backup...
You can view the contents of your backup by opening the wizard to restore files.
Open backup and restore by clicking on the button start , clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance and then click Backup and restore.
Do one of the following:
To view your files, click Restore my files.
To display files all the, click on restore files for all users. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Do one of the following:
To browse the contents of the backup, click Browse for files or click Browse for folders.
When you browse folders, you will not be able to see the files in a folder. To view individual files, use her browse for files option.
To search the contents of the backup, click search, type all or part of a file name, and then click search.

(not a replacement of relief.)With regard to the rate of success vs. failure rate of backup - it is difficult to measure. Indeed most of the people backs up incorrectly. It's really * not * enough to set a backup and forget about it. If you test ever that your backups work/glance to see if you are backing up the good thing - it's just not wise. Although most people expect that it is essential that the backups were working properly (not a test, a real emergency) to be discovered. Most individuals who report failures, unfortunately, fall into this category "when my aircraft crashed and I went to my backups - it turns out _ backup _ does not and never told me...» ».
A question... If you manually create a ZIP file (not a backup) - can you still Explorer in it as a folder?
To test... Create a folder on your desktop. Copy some files into it - of different types. I say COPY and not MOVE on the goal here - because you can just blow this folder and all that results from this folder later if it was all fair copies of things.
Make a right click on this folder and choose "send to" and "compress (ZIP) file and give a name to the new 'folder '. (It's really a file.) On your desktop, you should have the original folder you created and copied some stuff in, and a new "folder" with the name you just gave. If you open the 'new' folder - you should see the name of the folder that is still on the desktop and go to this folder, you should see the files. You literally use Windows Vista to the 'discovery' inside a ZIP file as if it were a folder.

just has got rid of the virus and responsible for all the disks but given the wifi does not work
Hello
Check with the system manufacturer or the actual WiFi device manufacturer and ask in their forums (if any)
for problems known.Actually, try updating your driver:
Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htmHow to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.htmlDownload - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.
You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.
After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
updated drivers.I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed. How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

Why can I not see the files I back up by using the backup and restore of Vista
Can someone help me? I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and implemented backup and restore feature Vista so that every Sunday he automatically backs up my computer to my external drive. I was on the computer when he said it starts up and that upward was completed successfully. I assummed everything was fine until today when I show my father my drive external and noticed that none of the backup of files were there... or at least I did not see them. The only files on the disk were the ones I put manually on here from my old computer. I then ran a manual upward using Vista and again it says backup successfully completed. I then watched the external hard drive and once again no new files. The strange thing is the back up and restore program shows all the dates he has saved and also allows me to restore files from the back to the top. To do this, I deleted a file I didn't really need out of my hard drive and then is gone to restore program and found the file and restored. Problem is that the program does not say where he makes the file from. What is going on? Are backup files of certain types of hidden file I don't see unless I use the backup and restore program under vista? I am currently running Vista Home Premium on a 32 bit system and the external hard drive I have is a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition.
Windows backup is stored in a folder with the same name as your computer. Open a command prompt and type echo %ComputerName% or startup, right-click on computer, properties. You should see that % ComputerName % folder on your external drive, and in this context, a backup set. Steve Hebert - MVP Microsoft Internet Explorer
