  I always use Safari much. I would like to import my bookmarks from Safari to Firefox. I exported my Safari bookmarks on my desktop, but I can't find the Import Wizard in Firefox 8.0. It is not under file, and I can't make it appear by clicking on the bookmarks, the bookmarks, either. Suggestions?

  How bookmarks are stored? If they are in an HTML file, you can go to bookmarks > organize bookmarks > import and backup > import HTML, select "in a HTML file" and go from there.

  If you have not currently saved favorites and b / m to import is already in a FF bookmarks file you could just more copy to your profile.

• How to use the Site FrontPage Import Wizard (Macromedia/Adobe)

  I would like to import a FrontPage Web site in Dreamweaver 5.5.

  I put a lot of work in the PS web design and hate having to re-create in Dreamweaver (also, I'm a newbie to DW!). The site of the FP is not published and exists only on the hard drive of my computer.

  I read an ad on the FP Site from Macromedia Import Wizard. It was posted a year ago by Catherine Munro (http://forums.adobe.com/community/dreamweaver/dreamweaver_general?view=overview), who was using DW 5 - import FrontPage 2000 (also my version of FP). She had no problem.

  But when I download and install the FP Site Wizard, it does exactly as it should until it gets to the last step #8 in Help file Assistant (file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Owner/Application%20Data/Adobe/Dreamweaver%20CS5.5 en_US/Configuration/ExtensionsHelp/Macromedia/FPMigrationKit/fpmigrationkit02.html):

  7	Click OK to leave Dreamweaver and restart the application.
  8	Choose Site > open Site and select any FrontPage of the site from the submenu.

  Once the DW restarts, when I click on the Site, there no option to open the Site (in gray or other) and I can't find any site FP has been imported into DW. I went through the process several times, but no luck at all.

  None of you don't think that what follows is worth trying: open each page prepared with FP in, for example, Firefox, and then save each full page under "Web Page." Open each of these pages in DW, and then start making the necessary changes?

  You don't need this extra step.  PS and DW are HTML editors.  If you edit an HTML page in the public Service, you can change it in DW.   The only difference is that DW does not support FP exclusive gadgets.

  Open DW.  Access to websites > Manage Site > new.  Say DW where your FP site files are located on your hard drive.

  Example: C: / / yoursite /.

• SRware Iron - cannot get it my default browser

  Hello, I can't get SRware Iron to be my browser default despite clicking on all of the right buttons ('make my default browser' on the launch, go to Options etc). I have a Windows 7 laptop and use a dongle broadband 3. Can anyone help? Thank you.

  SRWare has a forum of users who have at least an examination of this issue and the solution.  The title of the thread specifies Vista but there is only Windows 7 messages in as well.  I couldn't find a search function (perhaps to register on the forum first) so there may be other discussions here as well.  http://www.SRWare.NET/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2640

  Note that I only use SRWare myself (never heard before) so I'm just passing on a source that may have something useful for you.

• The photo Import Wizard - no new photos are can it be reset?

  I imported my photos with the wizard, but I chose to keep the subfolders option... Well after seeing how it was organized in too many cases, I've changed my mind. I then deleted images from the PC and ATTEMPT to redo the import.

  Now every time I have insert the SD card, I get a popup saying that no new pictures have been found. Normally fine, but I need them to be imported again. I know I can just manually copy, but I want that they arranged according to date taken and which would take a lot of work manually.

  I had the same problem.  I saw a few asking indicated to rename the database of photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery, or Windows Photo Gallery.  I solved my problem by going to the Windows Live Photo Gallery - and then manually selecting import photo and it will give the opportunity to every new import or organize existing.  Selecting the existing organization in the Import Wizard brings all the photos.

  If Autorun does not start, the following steps may

  Recently, I downloaded SqlDevelper 4.1.2.20 and used the wizard importing data for the first time.  In general, this has been a process easy and simple to use.

  I noticed a strange behaviour and I was wondering if that was seen by someone else.

  On importing data from an Excel worksheet, I met several fields with the date/time data,

  The Import Wizard is almost always empty the format field and showed in the "Columns of data sources" section this column and EACH column of data once it is in error.

  Once you get the correct format, I often found that I have to press the 'Back' button to clear the other columns of data to be deceived.   And, in some cases, I saw where the columns previously posted were then marked as error.

  Basically, anything after the column date corrected was wrong until an update of the "Source of data columns" has been done.

  If anyone else has noticed this?

  I think you have a good idea, maybe it defaults to MRU. When we start the process of the Beta/early adopter, be sure to check and let us know what you think. For the moment, and what I'm doing, I copy the date format string and paste them in such as required. I'm not a super big fan of having default values in 'automatically' added because it can lead to mistakes, and in this case, data corruption issues.
