Firefox is not saving one of my email addresses and the password (it's to save three of the four). He is not asking me if I want to save it, and there is no "Save" command under Tools. I have a Mac OS10.4.11.

  If you do not see 'Tools', then you do not have your active 'Menu Bar'.

  all the "Sent" emails must get downloaded from the server Inbox anto your Inbox in Thunderbird.

  • Then move all your emails in the 'Sent' Thunderbird folder.

  Have you looked at the section of the Base names of users and passwords are not saved ? There are lots of good information in there.

  If it's only a particular site, you experience problems with, you can also delete cookies from this site in order to make the site you not forget if you have created a remember me cookie by visiting to Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" that there could be a "don't remember" cookie for this site.

  OK, I feel like a fool. Turns out that the HTTP Server was in the list of exceptions, but under his own 192.168.X.X IP address rather than the hostname of our SVN server resolved internally.   Enter the account settings.

  Select the new address to be the default.
  All at the bottom of the list of accounts in the left side is account Actions.

  I tried to write a procedure to http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/importing-csv-files.html some time ago here. but the thing is if you change the columns in the CSV file in a spreadsheet, first match that Thunderbird expected (both in name and order), then you don't need to play with this terrible UI that aligns with the name of the field name of the field.

  I had this problem and just reinstalled Firefox. Problem solved. In my case, I believe that it is through the installation of FlashGet. Although I uninstalled FlashGet, it had outstripped the Magnet links / Protocol. I hope this helps you with your instance.
