Firefox is spoil fonts

Problem just started yesterday for no reason. I tried everything to fix this. Reinstall, cleaning of profile etc files. It is useful, but only for a short time (about 15 minutes), then the fonts are weird, with no smoothing and not in bold whereas they should be - not good in a Word. If I don't close Firefox, I have the right, but after the relaunch, the fonts are confused. All my fonts are not damaged (tested in Word), the other programs work correctly, including the other webbrowsers, but I don't like them too. I now use developer edition of Firefox, but standard version have the same problem. It's not a fault of plugin too. I use only Adblock and problem is still there without him. My OS: Windows 10 Pro (x 64).
It's a little chaotic, but photo explain everything.

  • Font smoothing/render in firefox on windows 10-40

    Hello

I just upgraded to 40 FF on my windows 10. The rendering of fonts is very jagged on the custom fonts on sites I visit. Is there something I can do to remedy this? On my Mac with 40 FF, the problem does not exist.

You have an Nvidia graphics card? Mozilla has disabled hardware acceleration for some Nvidia Windows 10 driver software, and this reduces the ability of Firefox to smooth fonts. I hope this will be fixed soon, but I'm not familiar with when Nvidia maybe get out an update.

Associates of thread: Firefox's waste policies.

If it's NOT Nvidia, hmm, we will have many more questions.

  • 33 Firefox fonts is blurred

Hi, I have recently updated to Firefox 33, unfortunately, the police is blurred, as for example when searching for things in YouTube with a list of suggestions.

Is it possible to disable this blurry font and do as the police as in Firefox 3.6 where it wasn't blurred?

Firefox 3.6? Wow. It is difficult to remember at this point.

Do you know if your Firefox uses hardware acceleration? Who can help with anti-aliasing of fonts, but it can also trigger incompatibilities with older display drivers. You can check on the troubleshooting information page. Either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

If you scroll down to the heading "Graphics" and look in the table below, you see a row for "GPU accelerated Windows" indicating if it is enabled (football match in the numerator/denominator) or off (numerator is always 0).

Here's another password Firefox 3.6. Starting from Firefox 22, your pages is "zoomed" in accordance with your settings of Windows, to better support high DPI screens. For example, if you have a medium setting for Windows (e.g. font size, 125% / 120dpi), Firefox will automatically apply to the pages.

There are two possible approaches to this issue:

    (1) fight against Firefox websites with an add-on like zoom

    (2) force Firefox to return to the traditional 96 DPI and an another add-on allows to enlarge the menu/toolbar area. Here's the background on this:

    Zoom factor

The following parameter governs both the content and the box area "chrome" (menus, toolbars and tabs). You can adjust the value, but it may be difficult to find just the right number:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the pix and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and change its value to 1.0 for Firefox 21 size fonts or choose report higher for larger fonts. For example, 1.25 corresponds to the font size of 125% in the Windows display settings. You may need to switch to the other windows/tabs to see how it affects the.

The tricky part is that 1.0 makes the content of normal size, but generally displays the area of chrome somewhere between almost unreadable and invisible.

If you can't find a compromise of good size, think about these extensions to adjust the size of the text menu and toolbar:

  • Stupid question: why tinytots (and other similar fonts) will not work in Firefox?

I am a user of Tumblr, if of course if I had to work on a theme, I would like to see the fonts that I have chosen to serve. In Chrome, everything seems as it should usually (relative to the fonts). In Firefox, I respond specifically to these two browsers so my theme seems not completely horrible. In my opinion, only a browsing experience more could be made if Firefox showed fonts such as tinytots for more than just me, but for someone else who is perhaps not brave enough to post about it. This brings me to another question: I'm just ranting or is it possible I can see these fonts and not know about it?

    This isn't a stupid question.

Google Chrome has its own library of fonts.

Mozilla Firefox runs Windows fonts library.

To run on Firefox fonts, they must be installed on Windows and then Firefox must be restarted.

Sometimes, Web sites do not use the correct font name and the police is found, even if it is installed.

A good website designer would design a Web site with backup for users to load fonts if they do not have the installed font.

I can't read my toolbar on Mozilla it is so small and the police is black with gray background! Is this not a great combination. Is anyway to change the font size of toolbar and from the colour? • Why zoom in Windows 7 has also changed the font size in Firefox?

I have win7 and I tried to change the size of the text/icon from windows to 125%. It has also affected everything in firefox (text tabs, bar etc, not the text on the pages you want to change by pressing ctrl + / address). I changed it to 100% and everything became really tiny. How can I make standard size any zoom that I use in windows itself.

Have you had experience of this kind of problem before?

    Sincerely

    You can try this:

    1. Open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut (right click: properties)
    2. Go to the Compatibility tab
    3. Make a mark before "Disable display timing of high DPI settings" to see if this has the effect.

You can use an extension to set a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.
