Hello
I am setting up a new laptop and downloaded Acrobat Pro XI for Windows computer. Download and install seemed to go fine, but when I try to run the program, it is coming in a few other locales (not French_FR). What should I do to configure the program for the locale in the United States?
(running Setup 3 times (to fix, modify, uninstall/reinstall), but so far nothing has worked.) Even after uninstalling/reinstalling (where I deselected the local Korean), the program still continues to flow upwards in an alternate reality!
Help, please!
Thank you

Windows recovery disc 32-bit error code meaning version question
Hello
I hope someone can help me. I am unable to boot into windows vista 32-bit, so I downloaded the vista recovery disk and get an oxo error code what it means (thanks in advance)? You don't give any info on what was the original problem with the computer.
You have set the Bios Setup to boot from the CD/DVD drive?
At startup, it will say press F2 or delete key to go into Bios/Setup, or maybe F12 to go to the Start Menu.
And have you tried also to tap F8 at startup and choose Safe Mode from the list of Boot Options?
Use up arrow key to do this, press on enter.
Browse your Hard Drive manufacturer's website, download software from here and test your hard drive for errors.
See you soon.

Also when I go to my control panel I can't open anything even not my add or remove channels I get an error msg saying c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe - application not found - even when im in safe mode appears the same box... help would be appreciated... :-)
It sounds like you lost the file association for .exe files.
Visit the following site and follow the instructions to restore your .exe file associations. Be sure to read the note at the top that applies specifically to the .exe file associations:<>http://www.dougknox.com/XP/file_assoc.htm >

Whenever my computer installs the Microsoft/Windows updates I get Internet and restoring the system to return.
Cite your version of IE and the full version of Windows (for example, WinXP SP3;) Vista 64 - bit SP2; Win7 RC. Win7) during the validation in an IE specific forum or a newsgroup. Please do it in your next reply.
By "The Internet began" do you mean that you encounter errors Page can not be displayed ?
Updates have you installed just before this problem started? Have you installed an update of the third-party driver that is offered by Windows Update?
TIP: Never, EVER to use system restore to 'Cancel' an update, Service Pack, or upgrade of IE! Instead, uninstall the update, Service Pack, or the IE patch & reboot. If that does not resolve the problem, then try System Restore. ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft

From now on, you can only contact OEM for the use of the recovery feature.

Second firefox.exe appearing in the process in Windows Task Manager...
Hi all!
I started facing this problem a few days ago and do not know what is the cause:
In my Windows Task Manager, there are two firefox.exe that appear under the process (under Applications, Firefox only appears once). I used to complete the process to close each of the firefox.exe that appear and the result was special. Depending on whether one I finish, either the window closes completely as well as all tabs or hangs the tab that is currently open and I get the message: "bad new first: this tab broke down."
I scanned my computer with AVG for viruses and everything was clean back. I've also scanned with ESET for malware and nothing was found.
Any idea what I can do to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.
You may see the new multiprocessue feature in Firefox.

Hello!
I hope that someone here will be able to throw some lights on my question, if I post this is the wrong place please let me know because I was directed here (which forum? ). OK, I support and develop custom applications. An older application especially written in Delphi allows users to attached documents (pdf, jpg, txt, etc.) to the records of equipment in a data base. Later users can view these records of equipment and press a button to display the document.
When the user presses the button to view the document, the application uses the folder variable to save the document to the temporary path and then asks windows via a shell command to open the file. The appeal of Delphi for windows used is the following:
ShellExecute (GetDesktopWindow, 'open', PChar (TempFile), ",", SW_SHOWNORMAL);
Normally this process works very well, we have had no problems so far. On a single computer (windows xp pro with Service Pack 3) belonging to a client, instead of opening the file, windows returns the system 31 error and the message ""a device attached to the system is not functioning. ". is displayed.
* If I navigate to the location where the file is stored on the disk and try to open it, software adobe reader opens the file correctly.
* I found some suggestions that the file extension is associated properly. PDF associated with Notepad, I changed, and the application could ask windows to open the file very well. Open the file from the location on the work of disc as well. Change the file for adobe and the problem persisted.
* I reinstalled adobe reader software, but also a previous version of adobe and the problem persisted.
* The application doesn't have any problem asking other files opened, only those associated with adobe reader on this same machine. The problem does not exist on other machines.
That about sums up the problem. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank you
Louis
It was determined that the version of adobe reader was at fault.

I have 3 computers backed up with their images of system on an external USB drive.
However, when you try to restore a computer using system image, Windows 7 fails to find the USB HDD.
I think it would be probably due to the fact that the WindowsImageBackup folder is probably not in the right place or a superfluous folder. Here's an example of how my disk backup has arranged record...
Root for example E: /.
-Computer #1
- WindowsImageBackup
-ComputerName #1-202348 backup 2016-05-29
-Catalogue
-SPPMetadataCache
-MediaID (file)
-Computer #2
- WindowsImageBackup
-ComputerName #2-202348 backup 2016-05-29
-Catalogue
-SPPMetadataCache
-MediaID (file)
-Computer #3
- WindowsImageBackup
-ComputerName #3-202348 backup 2016-05-29
-Catalogue
-SPPMetadataCache
-MediaID (file)
I realize that the WindowsImageBackup folder should be at the origin, so I moved this computer folder #1 a less E:\
However, restoration is unable to find it and can't even see the USB HDD.
Can anyone offer advice on what I can hurt?
Original title: restore the System Image
Thank you all for responding with your advice and suggestions but the failure has been a bit of my doing (?).
When I went to another port for the USB, everything worked fine! Simple solution, that I should have tried first - duh! :-)
My USB 3.0 4TB drive was originally on a port USB 3 (which was either missing or not recognized by my Bios) and when I changed my old disk ports USB 2, everything has worked well!
Thanks again, all...

Windows Explorer crashes or resets whenever open the system properties, among other things
So, recently, I had one set of questions arise in windows seven, apparently at random. It started to happen when I disabled it Internet Explorer (which I had reactivated it after that I saw coming problems) and uninstall my old antivirus (AVG Free). I also installed Windows updates not too long ago (after a long period of leave it turned off). I think it was about a week and a half ago or not.
First of all, I noticed that the Windows Photo Viewer launches (even with the live Gallery, have not really tried the other windows live applications). After an investigation, I noticed that the dllhost.exe process would start up when I would try to launch the photo viewer, but would end not too long after. Apparently, I Live Gallery to run at startup (with anything other than HP related; it is as well as the laptop I use), but it doesn't seem to work in this case.Second, most of my programs installed (Mumble, the pitcher in the League of legends, steam, Skype, among other things) suddenly had to be run in compatibility mode for Windows 7... in Windows 7. Otherwise they don't start/stop working and other. Obviously, this is not good. I have not explored the question too, it's all I have on it.Third, whenever I open the System Properties Windows, either through my computer > properties or control panel, windows Explorer stops and restarts. Only this single window.I tried running sfc, who gave no results after a reboot (without reset my start ORB custom). A second performance immediately after the said nothing was wrong. I ran windows in safe mode, which seemed to have solved the issue of windows Explorer (not too sure Photo Gallery, because it cannot be run in safe mode). Since nothing seemed wrong then, I tried to run in clean boot mode, brings the issue of Explorer back, but solved the problem of Windors and Live Gallery Photo Viewer. I tried many restored system (a restore before windows update has solved my problem of Photo Viewer, but this restore point has long been lost at the time where this all started to happen all together). On a side note, I got a voip program, Mumble, to run correctly after all this happens, if I reinstall, repair or run the program in compatibility mode again.I spent my time recently trying to understand the issue of windows Explorer, and everything that I had going on right now is that it might have something to do with ntdll.dll. Here is the report of the accident event viewer and reboot:Log name: ApplicationSource: Application errorDate: 13/01/2014 02:50:41Event ID: 1000Task category: (100)Level: errorKeywords: ClassicUser: n/aComputer: Fiora-chanDescription:The failing application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4The failed module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18247, time stamp: 0x521eaf24Exception code: 0xc0000374Offset: 0x00000000000c4102ID of the process failed: 0 x 3498Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0x01cf105d4a9207a3The failing application path: C:\Windows\system32\explorer.exeThe failed module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dllReport ID: 4e94424f-7c51-11e3-a854-28924a18ac7aThe event XML:1000 2 100 0 x 80000000000000 55233 Application Fiora-chan Explorer.exe6.1.7601.175674d672ee4ntdll.dll6.1.7601.18247521eaf24C000037400000000000c 4102349801cf105d4a9207a3C:\Windows\system32\explorer.exeC:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll4e94424f-7c51-11E3-A854-28924a18ac7aI also have a crashdump also, which I have no idea how read for the life of me. I don't know if this download will work or not, but whatever.https://www.mediafire.com/?d5aidn8qe47id03I'm at a loss right now on how to solve this problem. I was planning to do a reinstall in place, but I don't have a copy of the Windows 7 disc, nor have I any DVD big enough to spare a. I have to take this laptop for repairs of the hinge, and I don't want this issue ballooning the cost of the repairs on my laptop should I take on someone to fix for me.I ran my new (MSE) antivirus and MalwareBytes to check for problems, and they found some (if I remember correctly, it was potential threats in internet explorer, which I use never, incidentally). After the removal of these questions, everything seems to stay the same.A quick response would be greatly appreciated.Trying not to lose sleep trying to solve this problem.JVenusLooking at the dump with WinDbg (Windows Debugger) file the module that seems to be the cause of the accident is the atiumd64.dll which is a component of the AMD graphics driver:

Firefox.exe 2 running in background all the time I open Firefox
Whenever I open Firefox, there are two firefox.exe running the bottom everytime I open the browser. Whenever I try to close the other, it blocks all tabs that are on the browser, and whenever I have reload the tabs, it appears again.
I've scanned my computer several times with several antivirus, but there was no virus found. I also disabled the plugins that I thought the question was and rested Firefox, but he was always there. I restarted my computer, no luck in doing so. Uninstall and reinstall of Firefox has not even do the trick either.
The dual process of sky-rocket my RAM and CPU and it starts to get boring. Help, please! I appreciate any cooperation!
This could indicate that your Firefox uses a new feature 'multiprocessing '.
E10s
One of the changes in Firefox 48 + title is e10s, separating the process of browser interface process page content. The performance impact of this can vary a lot between systems: many users find more quickly, some are slower, for many, it's neutral. It is probably a bit more memory than if everything runs in a single process firefox.exe usage.
Are you using e10s?
You can check if you have this feature enabled as follows. Either:
- button '3-bar' menu > '? ' button > Troubleshooting Information
- (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
- type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, find the line "Multiprocess Windows" and see if the number on the left side of the fraction is greater than zero. If so, you are using e10s.
If you use e10s:
If you think that Firefox is not performing or now uses an unreasonable amount of resources, you can assess whether e10s is causing this problem by turning it off as follows:
(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the cars and make a pause so that the list is filtered
(3) double-click the preference browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 to switch the value from true to false
Note: the exact name of this preference may vary, but it will start by browser.tabs.remote.autostart
On your next startup of Firefox, it must be run in the traditional way. Any difference?
