  good so I didn't want to really analyze my computer throughout the night, seeing as how I still have homework to do. so I thought I would just try to uninstall and reinstall the browser and that seems to have fixed the problems. no more advertising on Twitter and no more Babylon.   I was able to successfully run TimesReader 2.0 using AIR 2.0.3 on my OS 10.6.4 machine.  TimesReader starts, you see the icon in the dock?  Is there a menu bar displayed for Times Reader, if you can make a connection?

  You can also remove the TimesReader preferences folder, if you have already.  It is located in the:

  /Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.nyt.timesreader.78C54164786ADE80CB31E1C5D95607D0938C987A.1
