Firefox not closing completely

Overview of Windows 8.1
Firefox worked fine until this morning. Now I can close the window, but when I want to start it again (by link or desktop) I get a message that Firefox is already running. I use end task in Task Manager.
I can then restart Firefox.

  • LabVIEW not closing completely

    Hi all

I have a weird problem with Labview, I guess it's related to my program, but I can't diagnose the problem.

Here's the situation. I have written a VI and a bunch of screws Sub and they are all attached to this message. When I opened the main VI (Super PB7100_Scan_1.2.4.1.vi), the façade opens of course. If I close the VI without running the program, Labview accidents (the Labview icon is always in the taskbar, but no window opens upward and I have to use the Task Manager to exit Labview). The same if I run the main VI. However, if I do the same thing with screws under or no matter what another VI, this does not happen. I guess it's related to the main VI, but I'm not good enough to Labview to find out what the problem is since the bug occurs even if the VI does not run... What is a the VI option I chose?

In addition, I don't know if it's related, but when I run the length of the first in the program after you open, it doesn't entirely. Indeed, the acquired data are not saved to a file. If I run it a second time with the same exact settings, data is saved.

I'm completely lost here because it really makes sense to me. Any help is welcome.

    Thank you

Now I get it.  You have VI set properties to display the front panels when these sub screws are loaded.  Delete both of them, and Bob's your uncle.

  • When a link to open another application and firefox is closed, Firefox opens but the link does not work

I use Firefox on Mac OS 10.9.2, 29, this problem has occurred on the OS 10.8 ~ and various other versions of FF. I use 29 simply because I like it!

The problem: Firefox is configured as the default browser in all directions it is possible to set as the default value. However, when I click on a URL from any application and Firefox is closed, Firefox opens opens, my last session of navigation tabs start, but the link does not open. I must return to the application and click the link again. This only happens on Firefox. I can put any other default browser and it will open the link in a closed state.

This is happening to me, same, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 but only since I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, 32.0.1. I can click on a HTTP link in another application and Firefox becomes the active application, but it will not load a new tab for the link, as expected. Instead, it just sits there. I have to go back to the other application and click on the link a second time, during which point Firefox correctly open a new tab and load the destination URL.

  • 26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it loads the previous session (and that includes all tabs). It does not matter how Firefox is closed.

26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it load the previous session, regardless of what has been entered in 'Options '. The browser runs in Win 7.0 64 bit; Norton Internet Suite 21 provides security features. There are some solutions 'cloud', also running as Google Drive, box, Skydrive and Cubby. The browser behaves in the same way in all my machines (installation and the OS is similar to that described above) and no amount of reset 'Options' seems to affect it. Nor is it affected by the way that Firefox is closed. This is obviously a bug that should be fixed.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
  • Cannot reopen Firefox after closing, have to start over every time. Do a right click to open the new page.

I tried to uninstall and reload in Firefox, but it always comes up with the same start page - Oops... etc, then recharge my browsing previous page. I tried an update for Firefox to d/l, however the mark on the screen says that I have to close Firefox before an update is possible (even if Firefox is closed).

Sounds like Firefox is not close properly and, in some cases, do not close completely. You still see the Mozilla Crash Reporter dialog box?

If Firefox is not visible and you must stop it, you can use the Windows 7 Task Manager.

CTRL + Shift + Esc is launching the Task Manager (or you can choose it in the screen Ctrl + Alt + Delete), then:

    • Try the Applications tab and end task on the windows in Firefox that you find
    • If this does not work, try the processes tab and end process on firefox.exe

It should crash Firefox mΘmoire and hopefully let you start it again (or install the update) without having to close / restart Windows.

  • How to open the second window of Firefox, without closing that I am already using?

While I am already in the navigation of Firefox, I find that I need to open another window of Firefox, without closing one in that I am. There are already has several tabs open, simply close the Firefox entirely does not help, because at startup the Ff even once, I get the message ' Oops! We're sorry. Cannot restore all tabs. You want to start again? ». As I don't want to lose the information on the existing tabs - many of them are independent and cannot be grouped - I don't want to start again, lose all the previous information tab. Also there is no button "Restart Ff now", as in the case of adding a new add-on.
Now, please help me by offering a completely working solution to the above question.
A big thank you to all those who care to help me.

The startup time of days graph shows no date and only one green dot in the middle of the screen. Time open this month seems also reset every time Firefox is closed. The other bits of the information provided in the report as the number of bookmarks, add-ons and plug-ins seem to be OK. This problem started a few weeks ago, and even though I have the latest version of Firefox installed and tried the setting default settings and refresh the browser a couple of times that the problem has not been resolved. Other solutions, you can suggest that I have try would be appreciated. I have data sharing together on IT.

    Huh, that's news...

You can try Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. I think that it is an extension.

    • Run firefox.exe - safe-mode in the search bar in the Start Menu. (Make sure Firefox is closed)

Have you added new extensions recently around the time this started happening? The details of your system displays the following:

  • Firefox not remembering the names of user or password.

I have a new computer and downloaded Firefox. Firefox don't remember my user name or password for my email or facebook. I have the setting set to remember. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    David

Do you hear the names and passwords in the password manager or do you mean that you are connected is no longer on to (remember to) Web sites after the closing and restarting Firefox?

There is a difference between remembering the name and the password in the password manager and a check box "remember me" on a web page.

The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and which is sent to the server.

If that "remember me" cookie is deleted or is corrupted or is not send to the server, then the server remember that you and you must connect once again.

Websites to remember you and automatically log you in are stored in a cookie.

    • Create a cookie exception allow (Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such cookies, especially for sites Web secure and if the cookies expire when Firefox is closed.

Make sure that you run not Firefox in private browsing mode.

Compensation of the "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

    Question
I can't get the tabs of the previous session of the return when I reopen it Firefox. I tried closing with 'Close' header of Firefox window, but also 'Quit' in the file Menu. Note that "Restoration of previous Session" on my Menu history is grayed out so I can't use it. In addition, there is no tab at the top of my window to open Firefox Firefox - only a menu bar that shows "File", "Edit", "View", "History", "Favorites", "Tools" and "Help". I am running Windows 7 Home Professional and Firefox 4.01

"I can't do the tabs from the previous session of the return when I reopen it Firefox.

Remember that you are not private browsing or they are in permanent private browsing mode. See: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Private%20Browsing (2nd and 3rd options menu on this page)

Make sure that you are not clearing history during a session or when Firefox is closed. See:

    • Clear recent history: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Clear%20Recent%20History
    • Clear history of Firefox closing: uncheck 'Clear history of Firefox closing' options > Privacy panel (the first item under "History" on this Panel should be set on "Firefox will be: use the custom settings for history" to see that point to uncheck)

The Firefox button is supposed to be on by default in Vista and Windows 7.

In Firefox 4, you have the choice of using the Firefox (orange or grey) button in the upper left or the menu bar (File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools.) Help).

original title: How can I activate my genuine copy of Windows XP Professional?

    Hello

I wonder if there is another way to activate my genuine copy of Windows XP Professional, because when I try to activate via the activate Windows

Assistant, all I get is a message saying that the 'online activation could not be completed at this time. "

Its weird because this is the first time I met this kind of problem after format and do a clean install of Windows XP in which, incidentally, I do

every year since 2006. (This is to keep my computer and working properly).

And also, if I tried to validate my copy of Windows XP by using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 8, but I keep getting "Validation failed".

Any ideas what could possibly cause this? coz I already formatted my computer three times since yesterday in the hope that it could solve the problem, but with no luck.

I hope someone could help me with this.

Thank you and happy holidays to all.

Am has this issues on my account, I can't buy something please what is the solution to this? your purchase could not be completed itunes?

    What did he say?

    Have you contacted iTunes support?

  • Your purchase could not be completed

When I want to buy the head of State... what to do?

    Hi Alexander_dx316,

I understand that you receive a message "your purchase could not be completed" on your Apple TV (the community you posted in).

The first thing I would say is to log out of your iTunes Store account, then update your billing information.   This includes enter them your debit card or credit card number, expiration date and security code.  In addition, make sure that the name on the card and the billing address match the information on your bank statement.  Reconnect to your iTunes Store account when you're done.

Modify or delete your Apple ID payment information

If you have a balance on your iTunes Store account, and your current payment method does not work, you can try to use a different credit card or buy a gift card from a retailer iTunes local and which apply to your account to clear the balance.

How are charged purchases on iTunes Store

When you make a purchase, content credits are used first, as long as the value of the item you buy is less than or equal to the value of the credits. Gift cards are used then. If your gift card is less than the total cost of the purchase, the payment method that you have paid to the record is charged for the balance.

If these steps do not resolve the problem with your account, please get in touch with the iTunes Store support team.

    Take care.
