• Share firefox profile between multiple operating systems.

  I recently installed windows on a virtual hard disk 8 (my primary OS is Windows 7) and I was wondering if it was possible to share the same profile of firefox on the two operating systems. I have ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/utilities/profilemanager/Profile Manager, but when I tried to make a new profile to the place of my main profile, he instead made a subdirectory under my main profile. Is that what I can do to share the profile between the two? I could always use sync, but I would like to share my addons, if possible.

• Need to flash to make my site correctly on the Mobile operating system

  Hello, I have a drug education related mobile targeted site towrds Web traffic and most of my users use smartphones to access. My problem is that I can't let them know how to use flash to access my medical animations and images on laptop here. I found a useful article on the android site on how to install flash on the android phone , but they have littlle too heavy.

  My question is, is there any method for my visitors to access the content flash using Smartphones?

  If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

  The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
  You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

  If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
  But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

  A single license is a single Installation.

  HP only offers support and drivers for W8 on their consumption of the PC.

  Visitors eager to support for other windows operating systems must buy a class business PC.

  While there is no guarantee, you should be able to install W7 x 64 on your laptop.

  I recommend that you first do your set of recovery discs before attempting to install another operating system on your laptop as once you traffic W8, the recovery partition probably will no longer work.

  You will need to go into the BIOS and enable the legacy mode and disable secure boot.

  So if you can get W7 to install, all x64drivers W7 and model this linked software should also work on your.

  I'm trying to generate a file with utl_file for a procedure with the other proprietary operating system. When I call sqlplus procedure, the file has oracle and oinstall group as the owner. I create another user of the os and I want to when I call the procedure for this user to have this new user as the owner.
  I put this procedure in cron and the file have new user as long as owner, but when I call this procedure from sqlplus, the generated file have os oracle as the owner user.
  What I can do.

• Had to reload operating system and applications data, now can't get firefox to recognize the profile data

  My C drive (disk solid state drive), which held my operating system and data from the app crashed. I had it replaced, updated Win 7 to win 10 and have downloaded Firefox. I was able to restore my profile from a Mozy backup data and copied in the Firefox folder. But Firefox resolutely refuses to recognize. I tried using the recovery data from an old profile, but no advantage help page. Tried to use the Manager profile, but without success. When I go to Troubleshooting Information and click on file/Show profile, it comes up with a list of files (files starting with bookmarkbackups, which however is empty, down for webapps, which has the file inside webapps.json), then the files from addons.json down through xulstore.json and the file places.sqlite is 10 240 KB Although there is something in there, but Firefox resolutely refuses to acknowledge my profile, bookmarks, etc..

  I'm out of options and ripping my hair out trying to get all my favorites, in which I have a lot of information such as the authentication of data for many favorite sites. It is frustrating that all the information seems to be there, but Firefox ignore all.

  Such a backup is perhaps a ZIP archive containing all the files into it if it is not a real file, but only one file.

  Note is that you replace the file places.sqlite with a copy of the backup that you have to make sure to remove existing places.sqlite - shm and temporary files to SQLite places.sqlite - wal.
  Ditto for the other SQLite files that you are restoring.

  Have you checked the application.ini file in the backup?

  Hi Briguy, no bones of firefox will not be a replacement for the Office of the operating systems like windows at the moment.   I upgraded my computer, adding a second hard disk for a new operating system and kept the old drive as a data disc. I assumed that I could install Firefox on the new disk and import my favorites from the old installation of Mozilla on the old disk. I can't find the files on the old drive with my favorites. They're still here, or when I reinstalled Firefox, I lost everything even if it was on another drive? I can't find the backup on the old disk files and want to restore my old favorites.   You must find your profile folder in the old drive, the way in which must be:

  1. First display the hidden files and folders:
     • http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Wi.../Show-hidden-files
  2. Then go to:
     • < old drive >: \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles \Users\ < username >
  3. Enter in your profile, and then enter the folder bookmarkbackups .
  4. Copy the latest file from json (backup of bookmarks)
  5. Then restore from them:
     • Restore backup bookmarks or move them to another computer
