  Upgrade to El Capitan shouldn't matter to your guest operating system, it must continue to operate as is.

  However, DO NOT wipe your drive on the update as then it might erase your VM.

  So best thing - as always - is to make a backup of your VM - with the virtual machine closed down and merge not running - before the upgrade to El Capitan.

  Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.
  
  Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page. This means that the stock HP is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.
  
  Given that HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

  Whatever your machine a display model of the manufacturer "must" give you an option to restore your PC to factory conditions. This is done in two ways. (1) a Windows DVD is provided. (2) the operating system is on a hidden partition on the hard drive of the system. Chances are yours is this one.

  As you have no literature tell you what keys press when to start your machine which will allow you to access the recovery partition, I suggest you to contact the store you purchased your machine from and to ask their technical support how are you suppose to go on the restoration of your machine to factory conditions.

  You might alos visit PC manufacturers Web site and look to the top of the brand and the model of your machine, just in case they have a downloadable guide. If you can download a user guide, browse and search for "restoring your PC back to factory conditions" this will then tell you how to restore program.

  If your machine is not a copy of the operating system on a hidden partition then ask the shop how you are going to get an OS DVD, ensuring that you point out that 'they' should have provided a way for you to restore your system should any problems arise.

  I have (AFAIK) working between our Poweredge 1850 servers and our AX150i iSCSI

  I have two vswitches implemented, each using a different network and on different networks. I can see my LUN and everything seems ok.

  In stock, I created two storage devices and am now looking to get this visible to my guest as a local disk operating system, so I can use them. It's the part that I am confused on that I see no way to do this.

  If I remember correctly, on our physical hosts as soon as I assigned virtual disks to servers, they have become visible to the OS and I left.

  I've attached screenshots of my main screens.

  Also, is this the right command to save my config servers (I'm on windows):

  I think you are trying to create a virtual hard drive as opposed to a raw disk mapping (RDM).

  If this is the case then what you need to do is change the settings of the virtual machine by right-clicking on the corresponding to your OS virtual computer that needs to access the disk asked again.

  Add a new device, select a hard drive, choose Create a new virtual disk, select the size you want and the data store that you want it to be on. The rest you can leave the default, check the summary reflects what you want and press Finish.

  You can always try to install the Windows 7 drivers to see what is happening. But I expect that the installation routine will check for a valid operating system.

  As you never have a drive to buy, this is how you should be able to reinstall Vista on a Toshiba using the recovery partition:

  You can see if it works but it is probably destroyed by installing these backup Images.

  If it is not available, try and get the Toshiba recovery disks or borrow a DVD of Microsoft Vista according to my first answer.

  Yes, you can do it but you must have a qualifying operating system installed on the hard drive to upgrade.

  W8 upgrade will not install on a hard drive without an operating system on it.
