Firefox slow on the Site of HTML5

I don't understand why when I try and watch a HTML5 website in Firefox, Firefox slows down to a crawl.

I tried all the latest versions including Beta.

I'll get something related bugzilla and if I find anything I'll create a minimal example based on your template and submit it (if you don't mind).

  • Why FFx21, from the opening, thus creating three CACHE of INTERNET files duplicate (01, 02, 03 & tot'ng 12 MB) slows down the site?

On the 'OPENING' Firefox for the web, there is an initial use of 12 + MB of use via INTERNET CACHE files. These files show up, when using CCleaner, as... \_CACHE_001, 002, 003 each with a size of say 4 096 Ko. The browser seems to "lag" - particularly visible when I type in one of the available search bars... I tap and then wait for the letter or the word to display. In addition, Firefox crashed several times since the upgrade to the latest version (ffox 21). I have two images CCleaner printscreen to show files so useful, but not sure how to enter them here.

Hello, these are the files where firefox stores its cache - you won't need CCleaner (in fact, it will be only slow down the things that you have already noticed, given that these files must be recreated after the next startup of the browser), you can also clear the cache with the mechanism built into firefox: How to clear the cache of Firefox

  • Why does Firefox not open the site Web (or Google searches) more when I type a Word?

In the latest version of Firefox, when I typed in a word (for example "Amazon" to go to amazon.com) it directed me to the Web site instantly most of the time, if he doesn't not it would redirect me to Google search results for the word I typed.
Now, when I type in a word (here: amazon) it says this:
    jar:file:///C:/program%20Files/Mozilla%20firefox/Omni.jar!/chrome/NL/locale/browser-region/region.propertiesamazon

Firefox 4.0 changed the prefs for that, this extension will restore it.

  • When I hover over a link, Firefox adds the site before my link makes it bad.

I was check the compatibility of my site. So I opened http://www.sethermal.com. It was fine until I flew over a link. Firefox has added the site and broke the link.

    For example.
I entered the address bar www.sethermal.com . The site came fine.
I hover over the 'Site Map' link on my page. Link is http://www.sethermal.com/pages/site-map.html
Before clicking on the link, I looked down and Firefox shows www.sethermal.com/-www.sethermal.com\pages\site-map.html
When I click on the link of course I 404 page not found

    Why is this happening?

These links have a backslash instead of a slash.
Firefox is not so forgiving as other browsers and treats a backslash as a character valid and thus prefixes links with the URL of the page.

  • Firefox slow to open links from Thunderbird and elsewhere

With Firefox versions later than 34 (or maybe 35 - not sure) try to open a link to the page of a Thunderbird e-mail and occasionally other sources, results in Firefox 36 and 37 suspended up to one minute before opening the page and a new tab, so I'm forced to use 34 to keep functioning.

I did not include troubleshooting information that the problem is not the version of Firefox running.

Edit: I asked the question in this thread which will show some of the things that have been suggested and tried:

    http://forums.digitalspy.co.UK/showthread.php?t=2056047

It's a start. Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the < shift >
    (Mac options)
key and then from Firefox. Is always the problem?

    In this case;

Start your computer in safe mode with network. Then launch Firefox.
Try the sites secure web. Is always the problem?

    Start the computer in Mode safe;
    Free online encyclopedia

  • disable the security check of the site

I am opposed to safety in real life and in particular with regard to my computers and software - I want to try to do what I want to do and I do not care less what are the consequences, without worrying. Sooner or later I'll manage to do what I decided to do, and as soon as I did, I no longer care about all of the consequences no matter what.

Webistes security certificatres in any mode of verification is a BUG major, as far as I'm concerned. I can't deal with this somehow acceptable for me other than these:

    1 abolish the world ptactice

2 abolish its use regarding me

3 abolish its use in what concerns me but gives me the opportunity to add a site/situation where I COULD find some use in verification which I sm send or receive information with sharing userprivileges with etc.

No point in trying to change your decision.

I hope that you have studied risk and were well rehearsed restoration or mitigation measures, daily backups may be adapted to the restorations of re-usable and perhaps using a virtual machine for your online activities unsafe.

Just use the HTTP version of sites instead of the HTTPS version and there is no certificate to worry. By default Firefox will connect you to an HTTPS site if you have previously used https, but you can use forget this site to access the http version (which also removes the history & cookies)

Besides, even Google search uses https by default on Firefox. Prevent this and you are most likely too get directed to incorrect sites by the result of your search.

You are free to do such things if that's what you like. However, this is not a forum to discuss changes in development or functionality of firefox and certainly not to change the way the web works.

Firefox has also to phishing and attack warning enabled by default. Turn again the stop if you want, all they do is warn you and will give you the ability to override any warning. Especially if you use http only you can leave this feature enabled.

  • I used to be able to get on a site, but two days ago I can't either. I spoke with the Admin of the site and the site looks at me as non-legit, he said.

I used to frequent a site RPing until two days earlier Sunday, January 26, 2014. After talking with the admin of the Site, I was told that the site is no longer recognized me as a person "legitimate." I passed through all the normal steps, updated, uninstall and reinstall Firefox, delete cookies and history, removed the proxy for the connection (and all other proxy options) and even by restarting the computer. I tried to access the site on other browsers, IE and Chrome and it works great! I still have other friends who can continue to use the site on Firefox! I don't know how to solve the problem, and I hate Chrome/IE with a passion, so I pray there is a way to solve this problem and I would like to use Firefox again for the site. Regarding the error I get whenever I try to access the site, it reads. "The requested URL '(Site address)' could not be found or is not available. Please check the spelling or try again later. »

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

  • Animation in HTML5 very slow to publish on the site.

Hello people, I have a problem.

I did an animation in HTML5 canvas for the opening of the customer site, only because the animation had some effects and some cool details for a good appearance, it ends up being slow to display during the run in browsers, except Internet Explorer which is optimal.

And especially when I put the animation in the Word Press, it is slow in time to open the site.

Can anyone help me with information to improve the performance of HTML5 animation on the site?

Can I change the format? Or reduce the content of the animation?

Someone help me please, I want to impress the client.

    Thank you.

The main thing that slows down the publication uses spritesheets.

The main thing that slows down the loading of the page don't use spritesheets. You can help with this by increasing the number of connections that are made. See here for details on this:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/message/8778750?et=watches.email.outcome#8778750

The main thing that affects the performance of reading is if you use custom, acceleration or filter effects or modes of ink.

    Don't do things.

  • How do the firefox stop, a loading site when a new address is registered or a new link/bookmark is clicked?

When you enter an address in the address bar that represents a place of slow loading (or even a site that does not exist) and then immediately after hitting enter change address link to a site that loads faster you will reach the last registration site. But after a while firefox will return to you at the address you entered first of all, on the site it represents or a page that contains a message that the site cannot be loaded.

This problem often occurs when you type the wrong address and quickly corrected it.

Reproduce the error with the following example:
1: enter "awaawefawefsdfj.com" (or another site existing none) in the address bar and press ENTER.
2: after quickly replace the address with "google.com" (or another fast loading site) and press ENTER.

It displays first page of google and shortly after viewing a page with the error message.

So my question is: this problem can be fixed with the settings?

  • How do I disable Adobe Flash - too many sites have Flash ads that slow down the browser unless an analysis.

Some pages contain 3, 4, 5 or more adobe flash ads running at the same time, which slows down the browser a lot. Then, if you happen to have several tabs open, the browser is dragging virtually interrupted and many times is not responding at all.

I would like to be able to choose whether or not a page can run flash content - not it be something that works all the time for each page, with the only option being to kill the plugincontainer process in taskmanager - who kills even the Adobe Flash elements you can watch; like a youtube video.

Why is there not a way to disable Adobe Flash in the browser? I have updated Firefox and Adobe Flash, but nowhere is there at - it an option to turn on or off according to your needs.

A control can be added to the Internet Options that you can set to have a page request before it is allowed to run the Flash content? Having that kind of control would GREATLY increase the pleasure of sailing on several pages.

Any information on how to do it, would be appreciated.

Hello, this is already possible in firefox: go to firefox/tools > addons > plugins and shockwave flash to Activategame. then the plugin will be disabled by default but can be enabled on a site-by-site basis.

  • Impossible to search once the site with firefox

I find a site with Firefox, once I'm there, I get those pop ups, even though I have a pop-up blocker on, and I can not search the site. For example, Harbor Freight tools. I get on the site and then impossible to search the site. It might be their site that's the problem, but I'm not sure. Moreover, how is it that when I download a new version of your software, all that junk happens, as the optimizer Pro, or some other stuff, I have no need. I go back and take most of it, because it of annoying and slows things down. Thank you.

Hello, just download firefox from the official site at mozilla.org - more updates are handled automatically by firefox if you don't have to download anything (you can run a check of updates of firefox > help > about firefox).

You can also run a full scan of your system with software security already in place and the various tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & kaspersky security scan to make sure there isn't already a kind of active malware on your system that triggers these false alerts.

  • "Bookmarks and history system is not functional" with corrupt files found by Avast and slow loading Web sites ONLY in Firefox

Firefox is the only browser that allows me to connect with my microphone. I need to use this feature for an online class. Earlier tonight, the message invites me to grant or deny permission to site class to use the microphone stopped appearing and without this registration only will pick up all the sounds and I can't save anything.

I tried to quit and restart Firefox. I had a few extensions in use at the time, in particular Session Manager. The allow/deny message would not always appear, then I restarted my computer.

Now when I open Firefox, I see the message error "the bookmarks and history system won't be not functional. In addition, the browser loads websites extremely slowly; It takes several minutes to load each page or for me to be able to click on anything whatsoever (bar URL, menus, etc.) my other browsers (Internet Explorer and Chrome) are functioning normally and loading Web sites at a normal speed. I tried to download the latest version of Firefox, but it does not solve anything. I also tried to restart the computer again, but that didn't help either.

I ran my Avast software system check, and it has mounted as the following files under "C:\Users\ (me) \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Irozixj7.default ' are 'damaged and unreadable ':
    -cookies.sqlite - shm
    -cookies.sqlite - wal
    -localstore.rdf
    -places.sqlite - shm

There was one more problem on the analysis, but it is probably not relevant: the file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Definition Updates\{9A2C6FA7-E04E-4819-B86A-8363A9D1E42A}\mpengine.dll" it says "the system does not have the specified path. When I tried to follow the path shown, one of the files (I can't remember who) said something along the lines of "you can't access this folder, you want to allow access to this file permanently? I said yes and was able to access the folder.

I tried to add the extension in Maintenance of places, but the speed is too slow to download anything. Trying to access any results of the menus in the Explorer freezing for several minutes then thaw but with the menu still unopened. As a result, none of the solutions found here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-bookmarks-and-history-will-not-be-functional?esab=a & as = aaq) seem to work.

    My questions are the following:
-Is it possible to understand what caused the problem in the first place?
Is there a way for me to fix it without losing my bookmarks and history?
-How can I prevent that from happening again in the future?

First of all, I recommend you backup your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox. You can copy the folder of your Firefox profile together somewhere outside the Mozilla folder. To quickly access this folder:

Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

Then, to keep this file open, exit Firefox and try to move "damaged and unreadable" files to another folder. With the exception of localstore.rdf, which stores the positions of windows, toolbar tools and other data non-essential customizations, other files appear to be specific session files that we hope, are not critical. If you restart Firefox, should he behave more normally?

If this is not the case, try to create a fresh Firefox profile. It will be the Flash plugin, which is the control of sites use usually to connects to your camera or microphone and other plugins, but otherwise will be a new configuration. This article has the commissioning steps in the Profile Manager: use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox.

If the sites are functioning normally in the new profile, you can import your bookmarks from your old profile, as well as the copy on the other files that do not appear to be the cause of the problem. Some trial and error may be needed to determine that. This article has a few tips: recovery of data from an old profile.

If the new profile is not better, you can exit Firefox and use the Profile Manager to return to your original profile.

    Any improvement?
