Firefox14, how to manage bookmarks

I use Firefox 14. I have a lot of files of bookmarks I want to sort in the correct folders. I select all bookmarks in the bookmark drop down and I get a separate window with my bookmark folders is displayed but I don't get the bookmarks file, I want to put in the files. Can someone tell me how to get them. I use Firefox bookmarks to a large number of versions of Firefox and it seems to me the more versions that we advance to the more confusing become favorites. In earlier versions, it was easy to manage.
