  I just installed my Premium CS5 on my new (bought used) macbook pro after a clean installed (OSX 10.8.5)

  All programs works fine but the Manger Aplication say there are updates to update for all programs while I open it and and start updates

  When you have downloaded and extracted the file, right click and then click on "Run as Administrator".

  This should work for you. I had the same problem and did and everything worked.

  At some point in the past (I don't know the exact date) Adobe "merged" the original update manager in cloud Update Manager, which means that you no longer use your original update manager

  To fix, I closed the fireworks and

  (1) download the CS5 update http://www.adobe.com/support/fireworks/downloads_updaters.html

  (2) on Windows 7, renamed the two objects in the file C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS5\English to add a suffix of OLD everyone then reopened Fireworks.

  All was well with CS5 and install Active programs, and all have been opened for the initial check.

  Adobe updater downloaded and requested updates post install routine. Everything downloaded 100%

  Just in case you are still interested in a solution, found an easy way to do it. Reset the clock to October 1, 2011 and retry updates. Works like a charm

  OSX 10.6.3. Trial Master collection download. Fixed permissions recursively on ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe setting Dreamweaver and Flash problems. Fireworks is not working properly. On the problem of launching, a dialog box appears (no splash screen) indicating "Fireworks can not run. A parameter is incorrect. "Any ideas on that?

  I guess you do this in the user folder location. You can also check the permissions for the folder Library/Preferences/Adobe Fireworks CS5 / in the user folder?

  In the extreme case that it will be possible for you to save your machine for awhile, so that people from the engineering team can look inside the machine?

  After the upgrade to windows 10, I installed CS5 and then tried to seize the 12.4 and camera raw updates.  I get an error message: there was a download of this update error try again later... Ive been trying for 2 weeks!  Any ideas?  Thanks, Dave
