Firmware WRT150N problem

Hello, please someone help me! The power led on my wireless router is flashing and I can't access the internet. The research I've done, I think that my firmware is either corrupted or it needs to be upgraded. I tried a hard reset on my router several times and nothing helps. I downloaded the update of the firmware of Ecritel.net. And I saw where I download tftp.exe from the website of linksys, but for some reason that I can't get it. Y at - there another program I can use? I tried tftp download another program, but I have no idea how to use it or what to do to get my router up and running. I tried the doin a ping on the router (specify a static ip address) and I get this, but any time that I try to connect to the internet it used. Any suggestions?

You can also try to use a utility to update firmware on the router without the need for the browser.

Download the utility here: ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/WRT54G2V1%20Flashing/tftp.exe

Save and run and find the .bin and upgrade file. Once successful, try to reopen the page of the router.

You can wait for your update.

    Hello

Firmware update should only be done if you notice problems with the ODD (CD/DVD drive)
In addition the laptop was equipped with various drives and firmware on the Toshiba page seems to be designed only for some some sides.
So if the laptop uses other ODD then the update of the firmware would not be supported.
See more information on the driver page for some details on the update firmware and what are the chances are supported!

I m not very well why the t supervisor password utility could not be installed, but I think that the message: bad series appears that if you tried to install a tool that was not designed for this model of laptop or the operating system.

The L300-1AQ seems to belong to the series PSLB8E and you must ensure that you have chosen the right model on the driver page.

PS: don't forget that the VAP has been installed everything first!

    Hello

Why did you do any firmware update?
As far as I know the reader uses the Win operating system drivers.
Also if you have problems with the drive, you must remove the drive from Device Manager. After the restart of the operating system should recognize the drive again.

  • 8, 1-Firmware Windows problem

I have a recently HP Compaq CQ58-201SA with whom I made the stupid mistake of letting windows store to go ahead and install the 8.1 update.

Everything seems very well went with two obvious questions.

    (1) edge LAN 'Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller' ('NO' the wireless) will not work.

While windows has installed the correct drivers for this hardware is unable to entrust resources system (IO, DMA, IRQ address) and it has thus been disabled with a message stating that I need to contact my provider of material for one and put to update the BIOS or Firmware.

Windows provides the following message in the Device Manager window.

"Your computer Firmware includes enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device contact the manufacturer to obtain a firmware or an update of the BIOS of your computer. (Code 35) »

Further investigation reveals the following message is displayed in the window Device Manager for the device in question, on the Details tab on the following two entries.

    Property: Code problem

    Value: 00000023

    : Fortune problem

Value: The resources for this device in conflict with the MCFG table.

    C0000908

    (2) life battary has fallen dramatically. While front with windows 8 I would observe periods of use of about 2.5 to 3.5 hours, now I see use of 0.5 to 1.5. It can be connected with an increase in the activity of the hard drive that I have been unable to locate the cause.

Two days after the installation of update that I made the decision to go back to windows 8. Kind of safe that I started with the restoration rather than reinstall that gives all the indications to complete successfully with one exception, I now see the table following partitioning for the laptop.

(no name) 400 MB Partition Recovery

(no name) 260 MB EFI System Partition

(no name) 350 MB Partition Recovery

(C: ) Start, primary page file, crash dump, 447,16 GB Partition

    (RECOVERY D :))) OEM Partition 17.49 GB

    (RECOVERY D :))) OEM Partition 17.49 GB

A UN extra named recovery partition appeared which I guess is something to do with windows 8.1. Two dashes for D: were present in the previous version of windows.

    My questions are this.

    (1) can I safely delete one of these two recovery partitions (if so which) or would it be better to leave them alone for now?

    (2) a firmware update will materialize in the near future to solve this problem on this machine line/model to make an update to windows 8.1 a viable option?

    (3) there will be a form any of the investigation into the claims of life such battary presented by the meter of the BONE

    (4) HP intend to produce a form a white paper dealing with issues and solutions for windows 8.1 update in the near future?

Thank you for you time and I hope someone can address these issues and provide answers.

The proposed pilots did not work, they produced only the same errors as above.

The solution was to simply wait for the F.29 BIOS updated for this model.

  • Firmware update problems

I'm trying to update the firmware on my Clip +.  I download the SansaUpdaterInstall and run it.  I get a check on the internet connection test and the test of my version of Windows, but it hangs on downloading the last update.  The message is "Please try again later."

Any suggestions or explanations to this problem?

Thanks for your reply.  I tried to make a slip and fall on the device name, like I would with a regular flash drive, but who did not work for some reason any.  So I did a cut / paste from my office to the root on the Clip +.  The firmware has been updated immediately.

  • New firmware, new problems with EA4500

I logged this morning to a new firmware on my EA4500. I have disabled the automatic upgrades when I got the device because at the time of the hidden networks was not supported by the firmware of the Wi - Fi chip. Needless to say I was shocked when I logged in this morning. I have no idea how the new firmware had updates since I was the only one on our staff with the password on this device.

However, I went in the new admin panel MAC filtering section and tried to add a new device to our list. I get "Unexpected error" 2177 when you try to save the updated list.

    Show details: / jnap, macfilter, SetMACFilterSettings - status: 200 OK Date: Tuesday, August 7, 2012 06:01:59 GMT Server: lighttpd/1.4.34 connection: close Content-Length: 42 Content-Type: application/json; charset = utf-8

I can't go past this screen to save the MAC address on the list of filters. Any ideas? Current firmware is 2.1.41.162351

Try the Revert to previous FW?

Safely update FW, I recommend doing the following:
1 save the router config to the file first using IE or FF with all modules disabled security.
2 factory reset the router with all devices disconnected or turned off accept for 1 Wired PC.
3 reload or update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your wired local LAN PC.
4 factory reset the router and then set up from zero all first and test with loading saved configuration from the file. Check if problems are solved before loading the saved configuration file.

  • NAT on XBOX 360 with WRT150N problems

    Hey guys,.

For some reason, we had some problems with our NAT type for our xbox. We have a good (green) connection, but the NAT type always appears as "moderate." Right now, we use the (configured for the xbox) standard wireless card to connect to our router (WRT150N).

I tried power cycling, manually enter the IP address, mask and gateway, but nothing has worked... any suggestions?

Generally a moderate NAT problem is due to two devices on a network running NAT.  Your router is probably related to the ISP device providing NAT service.  East - similar to the configuration of your network?

To remedy this, you can put your modem in Bridge mode device, which will require a little research according to the make and model.

An easier way to get around this problem is to configure your network so that your router runs only as a switch.  You will need to attach the modem to the router's LAN port and keep the unused WAN port and turn off DHCP on the router.

If you have already taken steps to eliminate any other NAT device, you can view more details about your ISP, networking and other components and maybe get a little more help.

  • Access Internet WRT54G/PLTE200/WRT150N problems

And here's one for you the guru out there...

I have a complicated network.  I have a DSL modem connected to the port of my WRT150N (Router 1) intenet Novatel.  I have a lan connection to a Powerline PLTE200 adapter that is in communication with his partner Powerline router (Router 2) at the other end of the House.  I have a WRT54G (Router 3) linking ports numbered numbered ports and I have a NAS on one of the Powerline router ports.

I have install Router 1 as a server for LAN DHCP and DHCP disabled on Router 3.  60% of the time that I can access internet from computers connected to router 3 wireless.  If I'm in the middle of the House and unable to connect to the internet on the router 3 I can change for Router 1 and connect to the internet, but not on the router 3.  Router 1 is 192.168.3.1 and Router 3 192.168.3.2.  I can not access router 3 from a computer connected by wire to the Router 1.  I can't access router 1 from a computer connected wireless to router 3.

Router 2 is another of beasty entirely.  I tried using the Powerline of Linksys utility, but it is NEVER the Powerline router or adapter, even when I am connected directly.

When I run ipconfig I sometimes get unexpected addresses on the router 3.  DHCP is configured to 192.168.3.xxx and get the addresses of 169.xxx.xxx.xxx.  With 169 addresses, I can't connect to the internet.  In the last round of troubleshooting, I was not able to verify the addresses when I can connect to the internet.

Here is what I need help:

    1. How can I connect to the Powerline adapters if they do not appear on the usefulness of current line?

    2. can I disable DHCP on the Powerline adapters?

    3. Why is it an intermittent problem?

    4. is there another way to these routers cascading without crawling me through the attic running cable Cat 5?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    (1) I suppose you want all your computers in order to share all printers, Internet connection and possibly also to share files - is that correct?

    (2) it sounds like your (Router 1) WRT150N is connected to the WRT54G (Router 3), using the connected ethernet port LAN port LAN cable - is this correct?

You have much too many problems to try to solve everything at once.  So first, you need simplify your network.  For the moment, disconnect the PLTE200 and Router 2 in the rest of your network.

We will work on Router 1 and Router 3 first:

Assuming that the answers to questions 1 and 2 above are Yes, then you must configure the Router 1 and 3 in agreement with my post at this address:

    http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/Linksys/board/message?board.ID=Wireless_Routers&message.ID=108928

You can continue to use the 192.168.3.1 address for Router 1.

For simplicity (of the sort that I don't get confused) Please change the "local IP address" of the router 3 to 192.168.3.3

After completing the above configuration, test your system.  You should be able to access the Internet from a computer that is connected by wire or wireless to Router 1 or router 3.

Note that addresses 169.xxx.xxx.xxx simply indicate that you do not have a connection to the router.  This address comes from your computer, not your router.

Do not attempt to access the setup menus in the Router 1 or 3 of wireless router, often fails.  Always use a computer that is connected to your network to access the router configuration pages.

If you have trouble getting the Router 1 and Router 3 to work properly, stop, do not continue with the steps below.  You need to get the Router 1 and Router 3 correctly before continuing work.

    *************************

Only after that you get the Router 1 and router work 3 correctly, if you are trying to connect the Router 2.

Router 2 need to be configured in the same way to router 3, except, please will be Router 2 use the address: 192.168.3.2.  Another channel that Router 1 or router 3 also affect Router 2.    Router 2 once the installation program, then he wire LAN port to the LAN port to the Router 1.  (Do not use the PLTE200 for now).  Make sure all three routers are running approriately.

If you have trouble getting all 3 of your routers works correctly, stop, do not continue with the steps below.  You must get all three routers works correctly before you continue.

    ********************

Only after completing all three routers works properly, and then try adding the PLTE200.  Note that the Powerline adapters must be connected to circuits that are on the 'same' side (left or right) of the electrical box.  You should not use the DHCP server in the power adapter holder online.  Will appear addresses DHCP of Router 1.   Carrier current adapters also prefer to be directly connected to the wall outlet, not to an extension cord.  The Powerline adapters also prefer their own made - they do not share a duplex Jack with another device.

  • Photosmart pro B9180 firmware update problem

    Hello

I have a problem to update the firmware on my HP photosmart pro B9180.

The firmware on it is very old, 20070426.

    I m running on a Mac, OS X 10.9

When I tried to start updating the firmware with the firmware update it got stuck after pressing 'continue' on the license agreement page. Through various positions, I found that I had to install the version 10.5 of the HP driver software to work around this problem. I ve done this and of course, he started the next step, "detect devices. The result is that he finds no demanding devices updated firmware that I find hard to believe since it s of 2007. The printer is on the network and I can normally access.

I now have it connected via USB to try another approach. The result is that the phase of "sensors" the update of the firmware ends unexpectedly leaving me with the ability to report it to apple or reopen the update of the firmware.

I ve also tried to use HP Device Manager to check the software updates. This property returns "server is not available. "Please try again later".  Tried for the last two days, but the results are the same.

Any help or pointers is appreciated. If need more information please ask

    Hi @Rohdekill

May I ask why you try to get an update of the firmware? I know you said feel you yours is outdated, but I want to say are you a program that allows you to search for an firmware update pushed?

From what I see, there is no updated firmware for this printer. There are updates driver for Mac and the Windows operating system, but no update firmware.

If you have a problem, I'd be happy to help you.

  • The RV042 Firmware upgrade problem

    Hello

I was responsible for upgrading the firmware on the router RV042 in more than 30 remote locations. The problem is that when I update the firmware the vpn tunnel or office does not reconnect and we lose communication with the router. What can I do to keep the vpn tunnel directly without having to travel to each site just to get the vpn tunnel to the top?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

You should check if the option Keep Alive and the dead peer detection is enabled on both ends of the tunnel VNP. They help to plug the tunnel once it falls.

    I hope this helps

  • sp40966 drive firmware update problem

While they inspected the m9400t support page today, I found the following link:

IMPORTANT - prevent any hard drive crash

I checked the link and found that I needed this update the hard drive firmware as my main drive is a Seagate 750 GB SATA drive. I've printed the information, then progressed to follow the steps. All is well until the phase of "reboot" and that's when things went south!

First - when the computer reboots, I had the update screen and saw the message on the interface of disc must be set to IDA and because the mine was set to RAID I reset to IDA and restarted.

Next - screen update again and began the process of update. Received a message that file binary download was complete. Following message "trying to read HP26CE3D.bin ', and this is where things went"South ".

After seeing this message for ~ 30 minutes I had the feeling that nothing was happening, so against the warning messages on the screen to update on "do not restart", I did a power reset off.

On the start of Vista could not start and I had the repair screen 'System '.

Long story short, after several attempts to reboot the system using my diag CD material and my system restored I got the answer of the CD.

On the next attempt of cold start, I used F10 and reset my disk for the original RAID interface and the system booted!

So, I wonder just what is happening. What has the RAID vs IDA to interface to update the disk firmware?

Anyone else out there there is a problem?

ATTENTION: I cannot always be right, but I always give advice.
Kudo accepted with gratitude if I have been of help to you.

    GOOD NEWS!

Yesterday, I downloaded the update sp40966 on the site of HP support and installed without problems or errors! I now drive HP26 firmware version on my Seagate 750 GB drive. I don't know that what has changed, but the installation goes smoothly. Here are a few observations on this installation vs the other installation I tried that failed.

    1. this time the installation I have no advice or warnings on affecting the drive interface in bios RAID IDE as with the previous installation.

    2. once the bootable CD was created when I opened it I could see the files and folders in contrast to the previous three CD

    3. I'm a happy camper now. I'll mark my issue as resolved.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to my problem and now: "this case is closed the King!" (the last is for we all had to grow up with radio instead of television. Live long and prosper!

Hello. I have a craving for X 2. I'm trying to update my firmware (currently in F06, this is what I got with the PC) for the new F07 tries to solve the problem of blocking with the envy of X 2.

I downloaded from hp.com and when I run it, I see the screen of the upgrade which shows the previous FW (F06), destination (F07), then the PC reboots and when it starts I still F06.

I also downloaded the version FW F04 to check if I managed to roll back and the same behavior: looks like it gets, but when it starts, I still F06.

Any idea on how to solve it?

I installed W8Pro and I'm on the latest drivers

Just in case someone looking for him in the future, I could upgrade to F07 using UEFI tool, which runs from the BIOS.
