First application of Clip for Smartphones-Audio track

I see how to add a piece of music with video, but I want to add a vocal track.  I would like to make a report like you see on TV with a journalist's voice track (Voice over), so I can see my video but hear my narration.  You can record a voice track?

Hi Lee,.

Thank you have downloaded the app and your feature request record a narration follow in the application.

You can record a voice on a desktop product like Adobe Audition or Audacity and save it in your iTunes (iOS) or your music files (Android). Once it is synced with your mobile device, you can bring this soundtrack in as you would a music soundtrack.

Thanks again for your feature request, we are always looking for ways to improve the application!

  • Help please - CS5.5 Why is the audio track not projection in the timeline?

Of course, I would appreciate your help.  I have been using Adobe first 6, then 6.5 years as a hobby.  I'm a big fan of the first.  Around November 2011, I upgraded to CS5.5.

I was working on a video with my son recently.  We use MPEG4 video of his digital camera.  I never have this problem.

Imported fine video.  The problem is that the audio do not arise in the audio track.  When we played the video track, the audio played, but doesn't

no show.  Out of curiosity I opened the first Elements to see if the audio track would show the video track separately, and he did.

Is there something I can do to make the audio track appears in CS5.5?

Thank you for your time and your help.

Until you see one that you can't see, scroll down the audio tracks. It can be on track 4 or even raining down.

  • CS4, which prevents audio to have gone to some audio tracks?

I find, in some cases, an audio clip that easily penetrate what seems at least an empty track above, will not go there.  Instead what looks like something like the small magnet icons... (only verticle)... appears in the location of the cursor and the audio is not moved to the top.

I try to keep the titles a bit since I've monopolized up to 5 audio video and 3.   I don't like to get stuff out of the site when editing if possible, or what I like to do things above the timeline so tiny or buried.  I would use what seems to be an empty audio track when possible

Is there a setting will I would like to move audio I have it please?

    Harry,

The reason for this behavior is that the Audio Clip is not of the correct type for the Audio track. Look in the header of the Audio track for the little speaker icons. They will be a mono =, two = stereo or 5.1 = 5.1. Your video must be the right type to fit.

    Good luck

  • First Pro CC and the lack of audio tracks for .mts files

    Hello guys,.

I used to edit my files .mts with first Pro CC with no problems until yesterday.

Now I import my file .mts (made with a Sony VG900), but the first does not recognize the audio tracks (which I hear fine with VLC).

I tried changing the extension in .m2ts, but he did not, I also tried to reinstall the first but, even once, it didn't work and I tried (I was desperate) to install the CS6 first just to check if the problem is maybe about the CC version. Guess what? It did not work...

I tried also to convert the file with the encoder in .mp4, but after the conversion, I can't hear the sound with VLC and, of course, this does not work on the first.

Don't you think it's a first question or a problem of file?

I used these same files for other videos (as a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1X5vsZ-5yI) and I had no problem. Then I updated the first, I moved the files in the other folder, and the problem came to life.

    Any idea?

(I'm waiting for my colleague to send me a new mts file just to check if I accidentally damaged the 'old').

  • Number of component snap for recording audio in first

    Hello

I want to give a narrative to a few video tutorials that I do. It may sound crazy, but I am currently doing all the video in first Pro CC (because it's awesome), but I added the narration in the app free iMovie from Apple.

The reason for this is because iMovie has a large "count-in" before the start of the recording. Count three seconds once you begin to save and allowing the preparation make the clip and above all, the microphone is turned on, but the 'pop' and other sounds are not saved. The result is perfect, fluidity when recording the narration sequences.

I don't want to do it on iMovie because it is a concern of loading in a second project in a different application. But for the life of me I can't understand how to do this on the first. Is it possible to implement a number of component software plug-in or is first there something different but equally good?

New features of voice have been added in CC7.2 (mid December 2013), with a countdown. If you're on the latest version of CC, you should find the voice record button in the Editor button for audio tracks in the timeline panel, which you access through this Panel (the wrench) timeline view settings menu > customize Audio connector...

If the button does not appear here, because several users have reported, then please see this post: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5936201#5936201

  • Adobe Media Encoder is not looking for additional audio top titles when the video clips to transcoding.

I have 4 K images with 4 mono audio tracks recorded.  Two of the tracks are dead audio, both are mic on the camera.  I need this audio, synchronize externally recorded in PluralEyes tracks, but that is besides the point.

When I use SOUL 6.0.2.81 (part of the CS6) to transcode my 4K MOV files in images of 1080 can be used for offline editing, it seems that pick up the first two tracks (dead) and ignore the titles 3 and 4, which contain audio live.

So far the only solution I found is to put each clip in the first separately.  First recognizes all 4 tracks.  I remove the first two, then export to first to 1080.  It's waaay to strong workforce given the number of shots.

Any ideas why SOUL would not pick up the two audio tracks?

Under settings QuickTime Audio, you can try the 'Uncompressed' codec that is multi-channel options?  Then, please use option 'Channel 4 '.  This should export all the four channels.

  • When I drop a second video clip with audio in a sequence, how is the 2nd clip will not display or launches its audio track?

I hope someone can help me with this.  I've just updated to the new CC first pro and when I drag a clip that has audio it displays correctly only audio in the audio track, BUT... when I drag a clip (or even the exact same clip) in the sequence of the audio track is not displayed and cannot be heard or published.  Just to double check, I did a new project, tried to load these two clips in reverse order and it worked the same way.  Only the first loaded track will show that it is the audio track.  When I create a new sequence by using the menus at the top specifically to test this, none of the audio tracks are displayed when the drug on the time line.

I also tried to load the video in the window source first before I drag it down. Sometimes the source plays audio, sometimes it does not. Anyway the audio still does not appear.

I hope that there is just a shoddy setting, I've turned on.  I know how to do Prime Minister rip the audio output and is it she's own track after the fact, but the whole issue is speed and convenience, and I never had this problem in the old version.  Thanks much for any help.

  • How can I set up stereo audio tracks as default in first using the ProRes 422 codec?

Forgive me if this has been asked several times before. I searched but can't find anything that explained in a language that does not require a degree in computer engineering.

I'm a new convert to our beloved FCP 7. I'm learning to love dear first - but the audio part of this is driving me crazy.

I exported from FCP files as ProRes 422 movies with stereo audio tracks. I want to put first in the same way. But when I do it all crashed in a single audio file.

It plays havoc with the Pan - especially in mixtures which have a mix of stereo music. Apart from this it just confuses me.

Also. When I create a new project from scratch in the first and I select the custom ProRes 422, this setting doesn't allow to ProRes 422 audio mono. I don't see a codec for something else (ie. stereo).

    Am I missing something?

I looked in all areas of preferences and can not find anywhere to change this. I just want to import audio data from simple, basic two-lane (and let appear the same) that I would be in FCP, ProTools and the myriad of other editing programs that I use.

I also want to be able to set up a base of two-way stereo timeline/sequence without having to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks a lot for all the help and patience. I'm slowly pulling my hair and spend long periods sitting in the corner, hugging my knees and crying.

My characteristics. Preferred codec installation: ProRes 422 codec

    First pro version CS6 (6.05)

    Thanks again.

In the project Panel, select all the clips and rightclick/change/audio channels.

Set it to 2 tack and mono.

When you drop the clip on the timeline the stereo turns on two tracks.

You can also set by default in the preferences under Audio (before you import the clips) (stereo to mono).

  • First milking a clip as a video with no audio

I am using first Elements 9.  I have a big video (30 GB) on my hard drive that plays fine in Windows Media Player.  There are some video and audio.  However when I add this file to my project in Premiere Elements, Premiere Elements interprets this file as the video only (i.e. the type of media in the project view is 'video' instead of 'film').  Accordingly, it has no sound when I play the clip in the first or eventually burn the video to DVD.

How can I me first to recognize this as a film, with audio and video flie?

Thanks for your all your messages and recommendations.  Your advice and suggestions helped me to find a solution, I want to share here.

First of all, NealeH helped me to recognize that my original film was recorded in 720 p, that is why the resolution is 1280 x 720.  So I created a new project in creation using AVCHD 720 p 59.94 FPS preset.  This helped me to make my video would correspond to this project, and it has eliminated the prompt that I was saying that my video does not match my project settings.

Second, the positions above helped me determine that my video clip has 5.1 sound.  When I put the movie on the Timeline, I need to make sure the audio is placed on a trajectory that is configured for a 5.1 sound.  Based on the preset that I used, that audio 1 (i.e. the "track audio main') is stereo, not 5.1.  I didn't originally, and I always put my movie on video 1 and Audio 1, thinking that the audio track will configure themselves automatically.  This isn't how it works.

I had to enlarge each audio track to see which ones is in 5.1. See the image and the little indicator 5.1 Audio 3.  If the audio of my film is placed on Audio 1, I lose the central channel.  But if I put on 3 audio, all channels are audible.  I had a hard time finding this indicator bit but once I found it, it solved my audio problems.

I still don't know how to change an existing audio track to change from stereo to 5.1, but if you select the right preset at the beginning, you can get several audio tracks and just move your audio film some track is appropriate.

Finally, my original question on this entire thread was that first do not recognize my film as a film clip (he was grateful as video only).  I don't know what caused this, but I find that if I can keep the size of movie file less 30 GB, first usually correctly recognizes as a movie (with video and audio).

  • Split audio track in first CS5

    Hi all

I'm getting acclimated to work in CS5 first, after years of editing on Avid Media Composer and Symphony.  There are, of course, similarities and differences, that which some I can understand my way through and others where I'll need to ask for help.  Here is one.

Suppose I have a piece of video that got killed by split tracks.  On channel 1, we have the Lavaliere microphone worn by an object of the interview.  On channel 2, we have the microphone on the device so when searching, I can hear the interviewer's questions which are not audible in mic of the interviewed.  In the final cut, I would throw channel 2 and channel 1 centre-pan.  On an Avid audio channels are separated on the timeline - tracks, you can literally remove channel 1 or audio clip from channel 2 and then use a Pan tool to take the audio clip remaining and pan it as desired (Center-pan is typically what you want with an interviewee, but actually you have infinite choice between left and right full).

How do we address this question in the first?  I'm sure that this issue has been addressed before, but after much research, I guess that I don't know the correct search terms to find.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Peter

Personally, I don't like the filling to left/right effects - it's unnecessary treatment, and I think that their use is somewhat restrictive. They would be your best option if you have already completed edition, however.

If you have not started to edit, you can remap the channels left and right stereo audio to two mono channels split, so to replicate your experience in Avid (it's where I came from, too). Choose your clips in the tray and right-click > edit > Audio channels. Click on the option "Mono" button to send the stereo, left channel right at A2 A1 and the stereo. Now you can edit clips in two mono tracks in a sequence.

The difference is the way that first card tracks default sequence. Avid, odd numbered audio tracks have left, in pairs of audio tracks went right. First, all mono audio tracks by default for center channel if you use one track stereo master. In the Audio Mixer Panel, you can pan tracks left or right to go to the specific output channel, or mix according to the needs. This practice is somewhat different than Avid, but gives you great flexibility.

The thing most important to note is that the Audio channel mapping does not work if you have already used your clip in a sequence, so don't forget to do that immediately after the capture/import your clips.
