First hangs when exporting?

I export a video small enough, less than 4 minutes, 523 MB, in the format H.264 and all the other adobe recommended settings (youtube). It takes about an hour to encode both passes, but then the program crashed after reaching 100%. Any suggestions on how to fix this? The program and the clouds are completely updated... I've never had this problem before.

Finally managed to do work - exported the last 10 percent of the timeline to the prores format and brought it back to and re-export.  Is not ideal.  But it worked.  The failure of all other options.

  • First hangs when opening the AVI of GoPro Studio cineform files

First of all, I'm a newb when it comes to video editing.  I just purchased Premiere Pro on a monthly basis to compile a bunch of holiday videos I took on my new GoPro.

I used GoPro Studio to edit raw images in hundreds of clips that can be used.  , I took the videos in 1280 x 720 @ 120fps.  I used the default settings to cut the sequence.

Note: I can open the original film by gopro without problem.

.... If I have the files in the format high quality AVI convert/trim, they work.  I can manage through and change all the people.  Easier WAY that redo all.  You know not why/how it worked, but this work around should be enough.  Thanks again for your help.

  • First hangs when you quit the program

I always get a "Adobe first CC 20141 has stopped working" by exiting the application. There seems to be no damage to my projects, but it is very annoying and I wonder if there is somethiing else wrong with my system I should be worried.  It is used to do with the version previous (2014), same error message!

Happened to me and I fixed it by changing my windows system to 100%...they fonts were set at 125% of the size and caused PP CC 2014 a few display different related problems and crashed whenever I left the program until I put the system fonts at 100% - weird but true!

  • First hangs when importing specific files

I started shooting the gameplay and I went to go change in PremiereCS6, but for what ever reason, I import my mp4 files bar does not respond then crashes shortly after. I tried to import other videos from video files with the same format as the ones (mp4s) crash but they don't crash just all my gameplay videos

    What is going on?

Try a short clip and see if that fixes the problem. CS6 will be not updated so that the fix won't come from Adobe. If you want to Dropbox a clip, I'll see if it works on my CC system.

  • First Pro CC crashes when exporting h.264

I have shot some footage in AVCHD using a panasonic hmc80, edited two sequences in the same project, a short about 8 minutes, which I exported to the fine H.264 format and a second in 36 minutes that crashes when exporting h.264, exporting to approximately 8 to 10 Mbit / s.  I have tried mpeg2 and exported correctly.  I updated from the first and windows and checked drivers such as Nvidia, all of this to date.  I use a matrox mxo2 as an e/s has no MAXIMUM.  Same Setup worked well with first cs6 for about six months without any problem. It is a windows system 8 I7 with 4 disks in raid zero for media and a separate player previews and export.  I also tried the FLV and it also crashed.

The error message Windows "Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working" collects more information about the problem.  I press cancel on the error of the box and first stop.  In fact the same thing happened once while I was sitting right on the timeline, take a break, he did the same thing and stopped, I was not made or export or do anything.  I have closed all the programs, including my anti virus software to make sure that wasn't the problem, but kept stopping.  I used to do some audio adjustments on a few clips I've done in the past with CS6 hearing...

I tried to open the project in CS6 but received a message that the project is damaged and cannot be opened. However, the project opens and plays fine CC where I created it originally. I have inspected the timeline and made the small part of locations that it stops the function of percentage completed without problem.  He stopped at 20 percent, 55 percent and 60 to 70 percent several times.Screen shot.jpg

Finally found the problem.  Hope this helps other casual users like me.  Originally when I started editing I dissociated video audio to audio specific modifications. It's a game of the game session only and talking heads were not in on it.  Once I finished editing I've linked audio video back together.  After I inspected carefully the timeline by zooming in to check every edit I was out of sync on one of my edits and he had a red - 4 video and a + 4 more on audio right on the clips.  After having to separate the tracks again that the red numbers went away and of course had an export successful h.264 after at least a dozen crashes.     What is funny about this is I had an export successful with mpeg2 after continuous h.264 and flv hangs until this fix.

  • Piece of Apple's music hangs when downloading

    Hello

Very often when I play an album on Apple music track hangs when downloading. Download line is blue, but nothing happens. Sometimes, after a long while, is starting. When I double click on the track, he goes to the next and when I double click on it once again the track begins to download and play immediately. It is with iTunes on Mac OX 10.11.5 12.4.1.6. It was the same with previous versions. The Internet connection is fine when I test if a track is suspended. I have to add that I am using Airplay, but it makes no difference what camera I'm streaming to.

    Best regards

    Werner.

    Hey wdonne!

It is important to be able to download music and listen to it unless it is interrupted. So, lets take a look and see which is the cause because you mentioned that what is also happening on previous versions.

First, take a look at this article here that helps out with downloads not completing: If an iTunes Store purchase suddenly stops downloading

We want to do is to reinstall iTunes to see if it would deal with the issue if the steps above does not.  Here, this article gives you the steps on how to do it: OS X El Capitan: reinstall the applications that came with your Mac

If it still does not after you complete these steps, we need to isolate the problem more far away to see what is the cause.

What we want to do next is to test in an new user account and the Safe Mode to see if it works or not.  (Please note that Safe Mode, he would not listen to you, but it would allow you to see whether or not the download ends.) After these two, it allow you to isolate the problem more far away to see what is causing the problem.

    Have a wonderful day!

  • Robocopy hangs when you try to copy a file which in use

    Hello

I find that Robocopy hangs when you try to copy the file using, for example an Outlook .pst file. The behavior of Vista was not to copy the file according to the retry and wait switches from command line, which allowed the backup race move to the next file and finally finish. With Windows 7 the Robocopy session is suspended and resumes ever, even if the file she is trying to copy is closed.

Is this behavior under Robocopy in Windows 7? Is it possible to get Robocopy to move to the file according to when he's trying to copy a file that is in use?

    Thank you

    Jason.

"There is no need of me a pause in my script"-Yes, I understand [and should have done before].

    I just tested a network for the first time operation.  It hangs forever as your done even after I closed Outlook & waited for the w: 30 I put.  {I also ran with closed Outlook the first time just to make sure that the network itself had no problems}

I read that you have provided the link.  This suggests that there is no solution.

    - - - - - - -

You seem to be doing a lot more & probably more structured than mine operation, this workaround might not be of any use to you.  The other open files issue concerns a simple hourly backup of my kernel files that includes pst files.

1 I xcopy all the files in a folder internal InterimBackup first.  Can I use XCopy or RoboCopy to send InterimBackup to the real destination.

2 If Outlook is open then it will copy on InterimBackup and, if the previous Outlook.pst is still in InterimBackup she gets deleted by the attempt of xcopy.  [conclusion - XCopy verifies the existence of the replacement of a file, deletes it and only then discovered that the source file is locked and cannot be copied.]

    So I precede this with

    0 I run [if exists] copy D:\InterimBackup\Outlook.pst to D:\InterimBackup\Outlook2.pst

The result is that whole process always ends but it only includes the last Outlook.pst that was available.  So I always make a point of Outlook to quit at some point during the day so that he could take part in this backup.

If you have also tried this as a two part operation, your xcopy / robocopy in the folder InterimBackup would always succeed but would include only Outlook.pst if you had first closed the application.  Subsequent operation of RoboCopy would always succeed with the same possible omission.

The downside of this might not suit your overall goal.  You'd have to RoboCopy separately all your others folder trees but keep the Outlook.pst in a tree that has not been included.  You could do this either by restructuring of your data or using RoboCopy exclude switches for the file Outlook.pst file.

You have to accept that you might not be sure about the last time that the Outlook file had been included unless you had deliberately run the RoboCopy closing.

I have reviewed this improvement by using Task Scheduler to respond in the event of closing Outlook and use it to initiate the copy outlook.pst to InterimBackup, then by running the part of the main operation on RoboCopy to this folder.  But my needs are so simple that I've never felt it's the logs of the events that I would have to put in place.

As I say, it may not meet your needs.

  • Why so large files when exporting?

Work on a video produced by an organization and to wonder about the size of the file. When I import the movie it is 47.7 MB. Make a new sequence of the clip and immediately exported using "match sequence settings". The resulting file, without any modification whatsoever, is 199.3 MB. Any ideas why this file is 4 times greater when exporting with the same exact settings?

It depends on what was the Codec to preview of your timeline. When you have created your sequence based on your clip, first did exactly cela, but the codec overview was probably set for MPEG I-Frame. When you exported and you click on "Match sequence settings" you also said creating export this video using coded MPEG. This preview codec is intended to be rendered in your calendar if you have many effects, but it is not the highest quality for export, then so be it you who would almost never optional. But the simple and direct answer is that your input format does not match your output format. Video file size has nothing to do with the images or pixels, only the codec and bitrate. No doubt your 48Mo file was MP4 or H.264. If you want a similar file size then you have to match the settings used for the original video. That being said, if you do this you will lose data because you compresserez a video that was already highly compressed first.

  • Encrypt a file when exporting to Oracle

Can encrypt us an entire file when exporting to oracle? I'm generating a CSV file but finally I need to post it on my application, but the only problem is there encryption is implemented on demand in a way as if the file is downloaded from the application, then the file will be automatically encrypted and all by downloading the same file, it will decrypt and display.

But when I generate the file is the database directly, and then when my shell script to move the file to the DB server to the application server and finally download... does not work because the application attempts to decrypt the file while the file is not encrypted to first step...

Is there anyway that we can directly encrypt with a key that can be the same password that the application uses too.

Let me repeat in case you missed it:

It's your code that creates the CSV file.

If you can do WHAT you want with the data and the file whenever you want to. If you want to encrypt go ahead.

Oracle database cannot create or manage CSV files. Client application programs and code to do. Such a file is located in the file system. And it is accessible via standard kernel I/O calls. If you want to encrypt the file created by your application code, then update your application code to support this. It is not a problem of database Oracle.

  • First hangs whenever I open Windows Explorer.

Whenever I'm in the first attempt to import using the windows double Explorer clicking import or whenever I go to export and edit name and address first just breaks down. A box of windows problems shooter stands up and says then close the program. This is it, no errors, nothing.

This does not happen when I start a new project until after I imported the initial set of images, every time after that it crashes.

Happens on all projects any images I use.

Need help desperate since the import and export are parties literally the most vital first.

    Data sheet:

    -Windows Pro 10

    -Intel i7 4770 k

-Corsair 32 GB of RAM LP

-Nvidia GTX 780ti - updated drivers

    Thank you.

If you do not touch the file name selector, first going to export using the location by default name and folder - so the worst case just move and rename the file after that that he has finished rendering.

  • Why the first crashes when I try to add more media items on my calendar?

So I have a nice video of 8 minutes spread over my calendar and now I do not add only 45 seconds of audio. However, whenever I try to drag my audio on my calendar, first hangs and I have to force quit the program.

He did that very thing when I tried simply adding a new title!

I had no problem until very recently, I had worked on the project for 15 hours probably not this problem. Now the program just allow me to add audio or even a title to the timeline!

Why did my gel program and no longer works for me!

    Hi Colin,

I had no problem until very recently, I had worked on the project for 15 hours probably not this problem. Now the program just allow me to add audio or even a title to the timeline!

Sorry about that. The solution is to remove the brand before sliding into the clip. We are working on a fix for this problem in the next release of Premiere Pro.

    Thank you

  • 'Error compiling movie/Unknown Error' when exported.  Great list of ' things I've already tried ' s

Alright, move to the bottom line here, I spent the last hours 3 juggling with clips and sequences of trying to get my VERY average project to encode and export.  I get the dreaded "error compiling Movie.  Unknown error message.  But there are a few details as to where it is tripping when exporting; more on that later.

Technical details: iMac, 32 GB of ram, Nvidia 780 M 4 GB, SSD from all around.

First of all, a list of "Things I've tried."  Which many were inspired by multiple threads, I've already read:

-Make sure there is not still images exceeding the size of my project (1080 p) settings.  Initially, there was one, it has since then been swapped for a completely different image/picture.  Still unresolved.

-Make sure there is no offset image drop-down conflicts happening between clips and my settings.

-All images is 1080 p, so there is no scale happening (not with any of the effects either).

-Switching to export "in/out sequence" export "entire sequence."

-Created a new sequence, dropped the sequence published in project parameters matched, tried to export from there.  Same question.

-A tried to make CBR instead of the variable.

-Tried to use all the rendering engines (software only, CUDA, OpenCL, etc..)

-At least a few other things too, but it's so darn late now for this reason, and so I'm so tired that I can't remembering everything.  I'll gladly take any suggestions and report back.

Now, I mentioned we're listening at a specific point.  I often read that he goes somewhere around 70% through and is approximately the same in my case.  He arrives at a specific clip/couple of clips and blocks in almost the exact same task.  I messed with these clips too many times to count.  Initially it has been remapped both with keyframes, so I changed it to a constant speed without keyframes. nothing.  Had a directional blur on one of the clips, so I completely; and no change.  I think I tried other things with that particular section of the timeline, but as I said, I'm falling asleep here.

Please. Help.  I'm very, very, very close to deserting a ship to FCPX total after so many bugs and crashes (it is not the only issue that hinder the project, as many of you know).  Currently, I am a user of dual-app, different applications for projects depending on how how "inside" I need to get, or if I work with different people on different systems.  But I need something that is RELIABLE.  This is supposed to be a professional software and probably priority #1 for professionals is reliability.  At least in FCP almost everything runs very smooth, and I did not yet have a "can't f * ing finish a project" problem with her.

I'm sorry, please excuse my behavior; I'm frustrated.

    We have progress!

So, I've discovered some interesting things (maybe not interesting for anyone who has had or has solved this problem before, but new to me).  It is a long summary of what happened, but I want to explain how I came to the conclusion I did:

First of all, I took advice from Colin and created a new sequence with the troublesome section, removed all the audio clips.  I thought I could try so suggestion of Ann at the same time, so I deleted FilmConvert not only the effects but ALL the effects of the clip.  The settings include: Filmconvert, directional blur (which a clip has the sum of retouching), speed of adjustment (without keyframes), then an adjustment layer with a very small amount of sharpening applied to it.  I did not remove anything from the adjustment layer.  I then exported with only "Export video" checked.  It worked.

So, I really wanted to try to pin-point, in hopes of helping someone else in the future.  It's when things are interesting.  So I went back and started around, keeping the audio off the coast and little by little the effects removed.  He went down to the directional blur, which I completely spaced the same mention, because I forgot a little on this subject in the middle of all this (sorry about, 100% my fault not to mention blur; some of you could see as the issue immediately, had I mentioned).  With everything, but directional blur applied, it has exported.  I even put the audio tracks to, re-checked Export Audio, and everything worked well.  So the blur effect seems to be the question... or so it seems.  Another interesting thing that's happened is that for one of the first attempts to export without audio, I left the blur effect but take off FilmConvert.  It worked as well.  Finally, my last attempt was to export everything, audio and video and all the effects, however, this time I noticed that on the second clip in the sequence I had accidentally put the blur directional above FilmConvert in the effects Panel (the other clips there like the last effect applied).  So I moved it back to the bottom of the chain of effects.  Of course, it worked.

Finally, and above all, I tried full export with effects in their place.  SOUL crashed, twice.  Frustrating, but unfortunately enough widespread lately.  However, the project is export straight out of first, first try.  Feeling very relieved.

I guess my question now is... Why?  Is - this common with all the effects in the first of blur?  To summarize what the section of the clips looked like, it's just a quick moment of time being accelerated x 5, with a slight blur to simulate an exaggerated movement too vague.  Yes, I do usually this kind of effects in After Effects, with more control and better results, but the project is a quick and informal editing, so I don't bother at first.  A big thank you to all who contributed to the discussion, if your suggestion has directly touched the issue or not, it's the community to commit that really matters.  I hope that son like this can get small bugs like these resolved or help someone in a similar situation to learn how works the effect controls panel.  Nevertheless, there is useful information on this topic, for sure.  Thanks again to all who have helped me learn along the way.

  • When exporting photos, lightroom saves several versions of the image on my destination folder

    Hello

I've been using lightroom for editing my pictures for about a year now.  First, I noticed the problem a few months ago, but did not bother to seek a solution so far.  Whenever I finish photo editing, I export it to my destination folder.  My problem is that when I go in the destination folder, I see several versions of the photo, even if I only export (save) once when I am fully satisfied with the modified final image.  For example, I'll see img_2222, img_2222-2, img_2222-3 and so on, sometimes up to 10 versions.  I also noticed that the images are a little different with the final image is the image with the largest number suffix (for example, img_2222-10).  I hope I am making sense here...

As you can imagine, it's frustrating, because I end up spending an absurd amount of time to delete the versions that I don't need.  Is there any solution for this?  I searched all the settings and don't see even an option where I can record all the steps of my editing process images...

    Help!

    Hi cindymaya,

Could you please share the version of Lightroom that you use?

Could you please share the Lightroom export settings by using a screenshot?

When you export an image, Lightroom displays the top progress bar left referring to the number of images that are exported.

This progress bar says exporting a photo when exporting?

suggest you try to export to a new empty folder, and then check if it exports several versions.

    Kind regards

    Claes
