• No Audio when you import videos in the timeline?

  Hello everyone. I came across a problem that I can't get my head around.

  I tried to import a set of videos I recorded Via an ingame recording software called Overwolf. The clips will work perfectly with audio on VLC + Windows Media Player drive. However, when you import videos to the Prime Minister to be edited, they do not have any audio file attached. I searched around other topics similar to this one and have had no success.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• When you import images into the latest version of Lightroom CC why all my images become black so there's nothing to see?

  I tried to import by different methods.  I created an external file on my hard drive and put the RAW images in there and asked Lightroom to import from there.  I also simply asked Lightroom to import directly from the card to the camera.

  In both cases, I see the images on my screen but then one by one, they are converted to an image blackened with nothing at all.

  I tried to put pictures in development but that makes no difference, even using the adjustment sliders.

  I tried to export images from Lightroom in Photoshop CC.  There, I have a very dark version of the image.  While I suppose I could change it, I have no idea what the image before hand that I simply export a black image.

  This happened only since I've upgraded to the new version of Lightroom on CC.  Before that, I had no problem and went through the laborious effort of crating a new catalogue over 25,000 images... maybe it's a very small number of images in actual value, but for me it's a great thing.

  Hi Lesc,

  Sorry for the problems of import with Lightroom.

  Try this

  • Open Lightroom
  • Go to preferences - Presets and uncheck apply the automatic adjustment of the note
  • Restart LR
  • Now import images and see if it works

• Incorrect filename when you import images from the camera

  I use PE 10 on Mac Snow Leopard.

  When I import pictures from my camera and select 'Rename files' with 'Custom Date' + 'Date range' (any format), the file name includes the name custom correctly, but the date part of the file name is a random date (with a weird year: 1913, 1969). Note the example shown on the Photo Downloader is usually one that is used. The date of shooting in the meta-data is generally correct. This seems to be similar to a problem when you use the option 'create subfolder '.

  Any ideas why or a workaround?

  I used PE 8 and did not have this problem.

• How to capture audio only video or only when you import images from the camera

  When capturing video from a camera with a firewire cable the encoding screen does not give me the possibility to encode the video alone or only audio, I have to encode them both together. Ive used previous versions of first and he always gave me the option to encode only one. I can not even see the option to separate them, but the system I cannot select this option. Sometimes I just need to capture images, I don't need the audio, it feels like a waste of space. IM using first Pro CC. Thank you!

  Very well.  If you capture HDV I don't think you can separate the data stream.  I think you did during DV capture.

  This happens even with pictures taken on another device, not just mine.  My daughter told me that the phone fell recently.  The yellow streak isn't nowhere elsewhere on the laptop, right on the photos in LR.

  It happens when you import new images. This pourrait indicate that the sector where the pictures are copied to is damaged. But it could be a faulty card reader or a bad cable if you connect the camera directly to the computer. It's a hardware problem. Your challenge is to figure out where this problem.

  When I try to import a PSD with more then 1 layer import window opens but I'm making progress and the Cancel button is grayed.

  I tried to edit the files stored with 8-bit CMYK to RGB.

  I also did the tour where you are looking for in the media browser dubbel click it and make drag the file in the project, which works but it flattens the image and I need the different layers.

  When I have 1 layer the psd and no transparent whats if ever it works too.

  But I need to make images move so I need different layers of work anyone can help me with this?

  1. the photoshop files must always be RGB and CMYK never.

  2. sometimes when importing Photoshop files, the menu to choose the layers is off the screen. You know this if when importing and the first seems to freeze on import, press enter and you might get the photoshop file, but with all the merged layers. To choose the layers, reduce the size of the first screen when it is open before you import Photoshop, then try to import the photoshop file and you should see the submenu for choosing diapers. This may or may not be your problem, but it is one from time to time, I found.

  Hey there, having a very big problem important I need fixing with my first. I use the latest version of the creative cloud.

  My PC Specs are:

  Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60 GHz

  16 GB of ram

  Running Windows 7 64 bit OS

  My question is which occur randomly during editing sessions. Everything will work perfectly, and then import a new video in the project bin (or image sequence or audio, what has happened several times)

  And I click on the video and drag it to the bottom in the timeline, the mouse pretty much freezes and wont let go of the clip. First is then suspended in a weird state of 'limbo '. I can still save the project and even export using shortcuts. But I can't click on anything whatsoever, or use any other action. The mouse is constantly in 'grabbing' mode. After the whole project is corrupted. I can solve the problem by opening a new project with a new sequence, then copy the clips... But it of very frustrating and massively takes time so please if anyone has a solution please let me know. Or whether it is actually just a big bug when creating last... This only started happening after the last update.

  I will attach some screenshots to continue my view of what is happening.

• App Gallery hangs when you try to save the changes

  After cropping of a photo in the gallery app, it crashes when you try to save changes to the photo. It does not occur when recording other changes.

  It is an Alcatel One Touch light on 1.0.1. But oddly enough the problem is more product. I'm still not sure of what caused it. Then... I guess I can mark my question as answered. Thanks for the reply.

  After I drag something from my source monitor in my calendar, it seems normal.

  In the area of the timeline, drag the beginning of the clip where I want my point of being. Then do the same with the out point of the clip.

  Clip look very well in my program monitor.

  I then drag the clip on the timeline on left behind the element in the sequence (where I want it to go).

  Suddenly, the clip is completely black or dark in the program monitor.

  I also noticed once - I took off the video and audio in a clip. Then extended audio to the left on the timeline.

  Basically, making the audio 4 seconds longer than the video.  The element in the black turned program during playback monitor.

  I was wondering what causes this and how to avoid it?

  Looking at the picture, it looks like you might have lowered the opacity on the accident. If you see the yellow line located on the clip, in that it is located below the clip that looks like dark lift back up to 100 and it will return to normal.

  The button "-" zoom in the timeline. So if you see not all your clips because you are too far away, the will of '-' Zoom set your view to fit the visible part of the timeline.

  OK, so one of the key steps in my workflow is to make a manual pass audio "normalizing." Yes, I get the feeling that it could be automated tools that could do a better job, but I'm also listening to the content.

  But what makes me a little crazy right now, is that sometimes, the ctrl-click adds a normal keyframe and other times, it adds a handful of order for a Bezier curve. It is especially common when you are speed bumps, but it is just so inconsistent it makes me crazy.

  I'm working on a script and in the middle of the sequence, there is a clip where he also adds Bezier curves. And when I try to drag the keyframe down, he grabs the Bezier handle instead, creating this weird S-curve.

  I don't know what I'm doing differently in this segment compared to other places. Hundreds, if not thousands of changes such as this and I have not encountered a problem like this.

  Undo and do that again causes the same thing.

• Differentiate the different 'Types' of markers when you place it on the Timeline?

  I searched this forum, the forum FAQ and AE at Creative Cow... can't find a post related to my specific requirements. It would seem that I'm doing isn't rocket science and After Effects (version CS5) should be able to do so without resorting to scripting (I hope)?

  I will deal with a large number of videos where I need to synchronize the animations with dozens of times during each audio video. I have 8 different graphic animations that are common between all the videos.

  
  I understand the wick on the removal of "markers" on the timeline, by using the ' * ' when previewing audio keyboard shortcut. But who doesn't tell me the 'type' of the marker when I come back and associate a particular animation with each of them, for example:

  'Type A' marker... button animation

  ... Switch 'Type B' market slide to left animation

  Marker 'Type C'... switch to slide to the right animation

  
  

  etc etc. Ideally... some "shift/ctrl + number" by sequence keyboard to place AND identify the marker during his fall on the timeline?

  
  This step is intended to be a large consumer of time in our process of finding a way to effectively treat would be incredibly helpful.

  There are no types of different markers, plain and simple, then there may be no shortcut secret or whatever. The markers are placeholders just generic to associate specific metadata at a point in time or as a minor of the temporal beacon here, nothing more. They have no built-in logic or a function. So no matter how much you want to ignore, scripts or manually add comments is the only way to add logic for them, who then may serve as a reference or be addressed in expressions. For something more fancy, probably a dedicated interactive content authoring environment (Flash, Director, unit etc.) is more appropriate. Your use of the case exactly as it sounds.
