First HP: conspiring a vector

Is this another feature release?

I don't know exactly what you mean by "draw a vector. Do you mean a plot of slopefield? Do you mean the tail an arbitrary sequence of vectors and see where they are?

Slopefields currently located in geometry. The other you could probably easily do in geometry, but I'm not aware of a graphing calculator that implements.

If you mean something else, please provide details.

See the pictures below, look at the feet!

Whenever I use the continuously rasterized option I still have problems. Maybe it's my workflow, but I you will often find that the layers appear to jump around, be broken almost as digital break on a TV or get cracks and lines at random. My problem at the moment is random lines.

I have three compositions, a main and two pre comps. The first precomp contains 1 vector layer with rasterized switch game. The model of pre holding this model was then the rasterized spend together as a switch fx as Im using tools on the first duIK precomped layer. This layer/second precomp has a puppet PIN if it makes a difference to anyone. In this second precomp, I can see weird lines on my form, which are identical to the form, almost as if the 1st precomp is showing through for some reason any as an outline transparent 1pt?

I can move the shape, and this strange contour remains in the same place but slices through my form that I pass, so in theory I can move my form across the composition and I have no problem... but it does not really solve the problem. My biggest final comp containing two comps above also has the same problem as the 2nd computer... but it's structure, I need so I had to test it.

Currently my diapers are all 2d, but I can make them 3d later and meet more jumpy rasterising weird questions... When I change the rasterized or fx switches lines will go, but I need the rasterized option (although now I can not even tell if it's effective, but I also need the fx which holds my original puppet corner for duIK right tools)

What I am doing wrong? Help, please!

Photo 1 and 2, bot moved to the visible contours on feet, photo 3 has been moved far enough away from the original position of precomps shows so no lines. These come out on a record.

    Capture.PNGCapture1.PNGCapture2.PNG

Really, you cannot use the function of rasterize continuously with the puppet tool at the same time. This is explained in the puppet tool page in help. (And, if I remember correctly, it can suggest workaround).

In anyway, if you do a precomp which includes the work and use the puppet pin on the precomp WITHOUT using the continuously rasterize button above, it should work fine. So, if you need it is larger, make more great before apply you the pins of the puppet.

  • Illustrator Adobe: I can't split the layer after expand and separate

    Hello

IM learning adobe illustrator and im trying this tutorial and I reach this stip

First I develop a vectorized photo

thin I disassociate it and then is supposed to penetrate the main layer of underlayment that contain paths but there's a layer name of the < < layer compound > >

    Untitled.png

A "trace" is not technically a 'sex', it is considered by the AI as a "unique way". This allows certain areas of "reverse" or "hollow", according to the 'meaning' of the subpath. You can "liberate" a composite path using the menu: object > compound path > release. This will make each item a path separated. He will also lose the 'transparent' effect of the interior parts of the wing. These paths are selected and recolored the black base path independently.

  • PS or Illustrator to create a composite picture?

I am trying to build a composite image (a human figure), using elements cut, resized, rotated and pasted from photos. It will be then abandoned in my own background illustrated on the fly. The final product will be printed/published. I use a MS Surface Pro 2 - Windows 8 - which has a small screen (and probably a few disadvantages of Windows-based), but a useful pen. Would you recommend me using PS or Illustrator (or something else)?

It can be done in Photoshop, but the more convenient environment for this sort of thing is actually about InDesign. That's where I'd do it.

Preparation of the photos must be made in Photoshop first, of course (and vector illustrations in Illustrator). But then all items are placed in the identity document, and cropping, resizing, rotation, displacement, overlay and so on is a child to identity card game - which is his main set of tools.

  • [AS3] & quot; Shader entry lack valid dimensions & quot;

I bake certain values in a vector. < number > (I tried ByteArray, also), float3 with a shader output. In the other, I want to use this result as an entry, with a texture (which must be image4).
But when I start the second ShaderJob, I get an exception: "the shader input card has no valid dimensions", "leaf" corresponding to the output of the first shader as float3 / vector. < number > I'm looking to pass it as an entry image3. When I check the length of the vector, this is the width * height * 3 as planned.

What could cause this exception? I can't mix different types of entries in a shader?

You need to specify the width and height of the vector you provide. In the code snippet below, I have a shader that has two entrances, one of type image4, canyonData and the other of type image3, vectorInput.

  • First HP: Common Operations with 2D and 3D vectors

I have not found a way to work with vector quantities 2D and 3D common representing the position, strength, speed, etc.. in a manner similar to the way in which the first HP manages complex numbers. I used the HP-48 and the HP-50 where these useful functions were available to my students in engineering, but seems to be missing in the first HP. The TI - 89 Titanium also. With the first HP I can add two complex numbers of the mixed formula ("real/imaginary" and "polar"), but have not found a way to do with vectors with real components in two or three dimensions.

What am I missing or what is hopefully a future update?

You are right - it is something not supported at this time. He will very probably be added at some point however.

  • Is it possible to import files to first, so that they retain the vector properties?

Is it possible to import files to first, so that they retain properties of vector, as continually rasterising if they are enlarged up to a size larger than their original import size?

In my opinion, After Effects can do this, but Premiere pro pixellisent the element when added to the sequence.

  • First HP: unit vector

Is there any function to get the unit vector of a vector 3 elements?
    For example

    [2-4-5]

I know not how to set a function to do this, but there's something by default?

Your program you have written will thus run very well in the RPN. There is no programming mode "RPN".

Note that when the program returned from the Toolbox-> users-> [progname >]-> [progfunc] location she returned to the command-line as PROGNAME(). You can immediately tap on enter and it runs into the ars of the battery. Only in the case of a function that accepts different numbers of arguments you would put anything inside of () to indicate to the args system how to remove the battery.

  • First HP: Program vs define

I made a program to get the unit vector of a vector with the form [1 2 3], I did this with the option set and program option, the results were almost the same.

    To define

And I wrote a program with CASE option turned on, when I use the program with the option in CASE I get the first result, when I use the program to determine without CASES I get the second:

In fact the program have the same name, because the first was made with CASE option, then I deleted the program and I did a new one without CASE. Why we have this 'erros' ammm y calculation system?

    Hello

2 factor will come into play here to generate the last significant digit difference.

    (1) as a general rule, the heap can not perform the operations in the same order as the home system as it tries to simplify/fix as much as he can symbolically (betai I don't think it applies here)

    (2) the case works with binary codded floating-point (double in C language) so that home uses decimal coded binary numbers. This may lead to slightly different results. The flare is not exactly the same way and as binarry codded floating points must convert their internal binary value in decimals.

Note that in the case of 3/sqrt (34), the actual result (accurately) ends with 75265... at home, you get a value truncated ending in 7, while case gives you a tour of 8 upwards (the 5265 was basically rounded)

  • First HP - function erf

For HP first, when tracing of f (x) = erf (x), he gets the undefined values for integer x values. ERF (1) or erf (2) is undefined. No problem with erf (1.1). Home in rpm mode, I can do it "erf (1.1)", Enter, Eval and get a value. But when I do "erf (1) ', Enter, Eval it just says: erf (1). This indicates as trace that the erf function cannot tolerate as integer values. Even if I try 1.0 it still has a problem. It has the value "approx. (erf (1)) ', Enter, Eval. So what's happening? Why would it tolerate "approx. (erf (1)) ', Enter, Eval but not to do anything with" erf (1) ', Enter, Eval?

Also, RPM mode I can't do 1.1, Enter, erf, Enter. It requires the algebraic mode of this function. This is the normal scenario for functions special single argument? For example, I am able to make 1.1, Enter, sin, Enter, where I have indexed into sin instead of SIN.

    Hello

Iron and other elements in the menu "special" brought the side CASE of things. So when you do erf (integer), it keeps things as a symbolic or exact object. The way in which the CASE in the earlier works is that a numeric value with a decimal value in it is interpreted as a numeric value and evaluate numerically. Try, for example, in the CASE of 1/2 vs 1. / 2 (with the comma on the 1. In one case, he renvoie.5 1/2 and in the other

While tracing the curve, the same thing can happen when the CASE orders. Chart approx. (erf (X)) draw what you want.

Now for RPN, this also has something to do with the CASE orders. In the CASE, there are really no command argument "single. You can do things like erf (1,2,3,4,3,4,2,2,3) and fortunately it will calculate for each of them. This allows you to use common or simple in very flexible ways commands. For example, sin can take any number of arguments you pass and calculate all. This allows passage without soldering of the vectors of arguments through complicated calculations.

During operation in RPN mode, the system recognizes now that this command is a command of CASES which can take any number of arguments you want. This is why it does not only immediately calculate the result. Give him a count within the () to specify the arguments to remove the battery. For example, erf (4) would consume 4 arguments and return a vector of the results.

  • Matrix - vector lines and columns

  • Get the maximum index of a vector of growth

    Hello

    I'm having a very strange problem. I simulate data with an sine function in a while loop and I keep the values< 0.7="" into="" a="" vector.="" when="" the="" sinus="" values="" are="" over="" 0.7,="" i="" remove="" the="" vector.="">

I would like to get the maximum index of the vector at each iteration of the loop. However, I get a zero index while the vector has a size > 0.

It's really strange, because if I put the values of the iteration instead of the values of the sine, the index created is correct (the only difference is that the iteration number is an integer, while the sine is a decimal number).

    To make someone understand something?

    Thanks for your help

    Andrew

Instead of "delete table", just leave the REAL empty case and 'use default if unwired' on the output of the table tunnel.

    Once the sinuses is once again<0.7, you="" are="" on="" the="" descending="" branch,="" so="" the="" first="" element="" is="" always="" the="" largest="" for="" a="" while.="" nothing="" wrong="" with="">

I would also put indicators after the case structure so they update in all conditions.

Table min & Max will give you the index of the element with the highest value. If you want to know the size of the array, use the function "size of array".

  • Control 6211 with Simulink (vector control engine)

Hi, I'm Jose, I have a three-phase motor vector control using Simulink and NI USB-6211, so I need to get the measurements of current and voltage and transfer it to model simlink in real time, so I will need 3 common pliers probes, voltage probe, a Matlab-compatible data acquisition, etc... It is my first project that I do, and I don't know if I can get it by using the NI USB-6211 case, can someone help me please?

It's certainly a viable idea. Looks like your main concern just to actually get the data on the device in the environment. To help to learn and give you some confidence, I begin by simulating a device in MAX, then acquring data in Matlab or Simulink.

  • Data related to communications received conspire RS-232

    Hi all

I am trying to receive data using the RS-232 serial communication and plot the data in real time. I have a 24-bit data at the transmitting end, so I use "Join numbers" block in the labview to join the three 8-bit data (the final result is the 32-bit data after joining the numbers with 8-bit zero value data). After data entry, it is sent to the waveform table. The received data should be Wescott on 8 different waveform cards, while the first 24 bits data are Wescott on the first chart of the wave, the second 24-bit data are Wescott on the second table of wavform... This is the reason why the 'String subset' block is used.

The next two links show the block diagram:

    http://Prnt.SC/c0drv9

    http://Prnt.SC/c0dsl9

As you can see I am highlighting the process execution. If in the first link I showed some data arrives to the waveform charts. But in the second link, you can see that each table waveform except two are conspiring the value zero. My question is why what is happening?

I am aware that there is an error in the communication, but it should not interfere with the layout of data.

    Thanks for any help.

Why you use "bytes to the Port? It is almost always the wrong thing to use. You wrote a command and don't give any time to the device address (although the highest point the execution could have slowed things enough to cope). If you get probably a short message of only a few bytes.

If each message is the same length, then son of this many bytes in reading and get rid of this byte to the Port node.

In addition, you have the stop enabled by default with the series character set VI, which is a default line break character. It is a huge problem because you try to read binary data. It's a decent chance, you're going to be sending a number which byte is 10 decimal. If that happens, VISA playback will stop there and give you incomplete data. You must disable the stop character in the run configuration function.

In addition, use block diagram cleanup because you have too much overlap and the wires to the rear.

Also, don't son a constant in all indices of this function of the Index table. By default, it will give you index, 0, 1, 2, 3,... with nothing plugged in.

  • How to draw three 1 d vectors in a field of surface?

    Hello world

I have programming experience, but am completely new with LabView.

I have data files that contain the same range of wavelength on the first column, light intensities on the second column, and each new text file is at a different angle. The respective angles are written as the headers for each file.

I have extracted wavelength, intensity and distinct angle into 1-d vectors and you want to draw them all on a 3-d chart.

I tried to use plots scattered in vector form, traces of contour, plot3Dmesh, etc., and I googled widely and have found similar questions but not answers.

Does anyone know where I can see specific examples or how to on this subject?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    -Michael

    Hi Michael

I think I see the problem, if I understand you correctly. You have the trace inside the loop For. Who's going to re - write the plot on each race. I made a few changes to your VI. I'll just write comments on the block diagram. See if that makes sense.
