  I understand that you have a 8600 Officejet you wish to turn on the image for the fax confirmation report. I'd be happy to help you with this.

  I must say though, it was frisk me throughout this menu from the printer! What you need to do is:

  1. Press (right arrow) and then press Setup.

  2. press on the Fax Menu (can say Fax Setup)
  3. press on the reports of fax and then touch Fax of Confirmation.
  4. tap on (fax) or we (send and receive).
  5. press on the Fax Confirmation with the image.

  Then when you get a Fax Confirmation it should the page it should have this small image of the first page.

  I need to insert a multi-page rtf file in my report model.  In Microsoft Word, this is achieved by selecting "Insert, text of file object", which inserts all pages in the rtf file.  How is - that this is reached in the LabView Report Generation Toolkit Microsoft?  When I use the insertion object vi, it inserts only the first page of the rtf file?  I tried other methods of insertion, but insert object is the only vi which keeps the formatting (e.g. rtf file contains tables).

  In summary, I can insert a rtf as an object to a bookmark file, but only the first page of the rtf file is inserted.  Does anyone know how to insert a rtf multi-page file?

  Hi Allan,

  I was able to generate the code to convert the _Document in range by copying it from the inside of the Object.vi Word.  The VI gray called Word_Get_Range.vi. It is located in vi.lib\addons\_office\_wordsub.llb

  Adobe strongly recommends use of PDF/X-4, which retains direct management transparency and color all the way to the INVESTIGATION period.

  PDF/X-1a is indeed antiquated for any content that uses anything other than CMYK + spot color or transparency.

  All modern PDF workflow software supports PDF/X-4. If you are printing to a PostScript RIP, Acrobat Pro (version X and XI) can print PDF/X-4 of tears (or printers) pretty well.

  Hi Asha,

  If you have managed to make a hypertext link at all, you are on the right track. From your description, it appears you are trying to use an existing text frame to place your marker of hypertext, a block of text that already contains text. If you put a hypertext marker in a paragraph with text, in fact, the only area that is clickable will be this paragraph. There is nothing you can do about it... This is the main behavior of FrameMaker.

  If you put a hypertext marker in a block of text that contains zero text (not even a single space), by default FrameMaker making this whole image map area. So if you try to make a whole page clickable, you will draw a new block of text that covers the entire page and insert the marker of hypertext, without text. You can experiment with this manually in the GUI.

  In your code, you must use the credentials of the members tr.beg.objId and tr.end.objid FO_Pgf. Looks like you might be using variable ID which is incorrect. If you do not have an ID of the variable, you can find the location/range of corresponding text including the FP_TextRange property. This will return the good ID FO_Pgf you need.

  If you are looking for the text block that contains a variable, you can use something like:

  F_TextRangeT tr;

  F_ObjHandleT textFrameId;

  TR = F_ApiGetTextRange (docId, varId, FP_TextRange);

  textFrameId = F_ApiGetId (docId, tr.beg.objId, FP_InTextFrame);

  I want a single point of entry for the application, which is page #1. When I navigate to the login page (http://servername:portno/apex/f? p = 125:101) I am invited to my credentials and when entered, I takes me to the page #1. That is what I want. However, if I enter a URL that specifies a number of different page as the page #5 (http://servername:portno/apex/f? p = 125:5) get the page of connection as expected. When I enter my credentials, I am taken page #5. That is not what I want. I want to force the user to go to the page #1 first, regardless of what that they state in the URL of the page. Is this possible and if yes, can you point me in the right direction on how to fix this?

  It seems to work better if its in its own process page (?)  :|).

  So just create a new process and specify the code such as: FSP_AFTER_LOGIN_URL: = NULL; , with a sequence runs just before the login process.
