Fix film clips during the execution of the library

Dear all,

I have 6 different clips in the library with the given names after binding class: class: mc0, mc1, mc2, mc3, mc4, mc5, mc6,

And I would like to join these clips dynamically at run time by using the loop in AS3.0:

For (var i = 0; i < 6; i ++)
{

What should be the code for this runtime attaches?

//

}

Kind regards
Sridhar B

Thank you

His works very well and responded.

  • Load the clip from the library in target on stage

    Hello. Don't bother anyone with this but have been at it for hours and am at max of frustration level. I am using Flash CS3. I want to flip a button on the stage which will load a clip from my library in a clip that is currently sitting on the stage.

    The desired effect would be comperable using the loadmovie command and by loading an external .swf into a target on the stage. Except in my case I want to load a clip in my library in the target, rather than having to load an external swf file. Make sense? The goal of making this way is I want the loaded clip to stand on the stage, while the cursor mills. But when the cursor rolls over another button, I would like a different clip in the library to replace the already loaded by the first button.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Be precise because I tend to get lost easily with this stuff. Thank you in advance.

    If you want to replace what has already been placed with something new, and then specify a depth rather than using... target.getNextHighestDepth (...) which always goes to the top depth value

    If the target is not a wild animal that would put you in danger, just use... 1 (I think). In all cases, you can find the best value before setting this value in stone using... trace (target.getNextHighestDepth ()); before fixing anything.

    on {(overview)
    target.attachMovie ("Area1Web1", "anyName", 1);
    }

    Shit!... I forgot if that simply pushes the element formerly loaded at a different depth, is probably with my luck. If so, use target.removeMovieClip (); before attaching a new. The bottom line, I always try to offer... look in the files to help... they are your friend (once you get familiar with them).

    Cool!... I spent some time with this friend, I just mentioned and found this diamond in the rough... "If you create or join a new clip on a depth has already a clip, the clip again or attached replaces existing content."

  • to access the clips from the library with the name of Dynamics?

    trying to create a new MC on my stage using an ala dynamic name:

    var jpn:Sprite = "jpn_andy";

    var sample = new jpn();

    addChild (sample);

    Is there a way to do this? I tried a few variations of the foregoing, but nowhere was fast getting. Help, please.

    BJ

    Here's a code from a different point of view, that may be what you are looking for:

    var dynamicClassName:String = "xmlString;
    var classRef: Class = getDefinitionByName (dynamicClassName) in class;
    var img:MovieClip = new classRef();

    It still requires that objects with the ID of the class defined in the library... it's the only way to get the content library in.

  • OOP and film clips in the tables

    I have a number of clips in a game that needs all appear in a certain x; coordinate at the same alpha value and move in a path dynamically produced and which have basically the same behavior up to a certain point. Flash has created links to .as for clip files video eachEach.

    I want to put them all in a table of code once. My question - this table must be in the main class .as file or do I have a file separate .as written specially for this table.

    Thank you

    You can pass a reference of your main class to your table class. for example,.

    in the document class

    var arrayClass:ArrayClass = new ArrayClass (internship);

    ArrayClass

    package {}

    public class {ArrayClass

    private var _stage:Stage;

    public void ArrayClass(s:Stage) {}

    several = stage;

    dowhatever();

    }

    private function dowhatever (): void {}

    .

    .

    }

    }

    }

  • Need advice on film clip of the intro.

    Hi guys,.

    I would like to know what the best way to export a clip that will have to render it again whenever I have an export file. I seek to cut delivery up as much as I can. (e.g. make only once)

    I am the man of the camera / video editor / her man for the video version of our internal radio show. The show is shot every week and now they want to have the video companion for each edition. Each show is 1 hour long with 4 segments about 12 minutes each. At the beginning of each segment, there is an intro with the jingle of the show and some b-roll 30 seconds I shot in studio. This intro will not change for the moment and will be added to each segment that I produce.

    What is the best way to save this sequence? should I export it as a video uncompressed and import as an asset for all shows? (being that he has unpacked it should be compressed off and on each export?).

    The show is directed to HDV 1080 p 29.9 fps and exported on HDTV 1080 p 29.9 AND YouTube HD (the first for the export of the future Blu - ray as soon as we have enough presents and the second for YouTube).

    Any tips? suggestions?

    Right now I have a sequence with the intro in my first PP5.5 project and I'm put in the segment sequences and then export.

    Also after I exported the HDTV clips I take the mp4 files and I have their tail in Adobe Media Encoder to Downsample to YouTube HD. Is this better or should I just do export directly from my workspace?

    R

    I see two ways to achieve this.

    One would be to create/change your Intro and then export it with a CODEC lossless, as Lagarith Lossless or UT. This would be then imported into your show sequence. You would not re - make this segment, you will have already "closed" on this subject, even if it has the red line on it, you need not to see the final quality reading.

    One another and with potential for saving another work, would be to create a sequence with the Intro and the Bin/layout of the structure in place. Save this project as a "model" and then use it as a master key to every new show. Just immediately make a Save_As (so do not crush it) and add your new images. I would also like to make a backup of this 'model', just in case you forget the Save_As.

    Good luck

  • New film clip to the exact position of the load

    I'm new to Flash, but not to programming, but took an example of the documentation, but it doesn't seem to work...

    Create a clip relative to a container
    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("logo_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth ());
    creates a child clip inside 'mc_1 '.
    This is the clip that will replace the image
    logo_mc.createEmptyMovieClip("container_mc",0);
    logo_mc.container_mc.loadMovie (" http://www.macromedia.com/images/shared/product_boxes/80x92/studio_flashpro.jpg");
    _root. DY = stage.height + 4
    _root. DX = stage.width + 4

    The last two lines will actually place the new clip of X and postions are determined between + 4 and + 4 stage.width stage.height?

    I tried several variations - even plugged in numbers as root. DY = 200; and the root. DX = 200; but still loads in the same position every time...

    I'm misunderstanding this? or is there a better way to do it?

    Thank you!

    Thanks for your comments! This works! I did not yet notice the case so...

  • How can I view a clip from the library onto the stage in AS3?

    Hello

    I have a clip in my library and I want to display on the stage using AS3.

    what I define as a variable? Do I need to use this code: addchild (movieclip);

    can I use the 'x' and 'y' to position?

    What the code would look like?

    Ben.

    Steps to follow:

    1. Click Moviclip library and click on: link...
    2. Check the box export for ActionScript.
    3. Assign to the class "mov_clip".
    var movie:mov_clip = new mov_clip;movie.x = 50;movie.y = 50;addChild:(movie);

  • Loading in the library during execution?

    I built an animation flash (for a website) which requires a number of good quality JPG images.  I don't display any of this at first, so I don't want to wait for them all to load before starting the animation.  So, I want to be able to load these images in the background - the obvious process would be MovieClipLoader.loadClip () method.  It works fine if I load it into an INSTANCE of a moveclip (either existing on the stage or one that I have creat in actionscript) - but I really want to load into a clip from the library.

    The problem is that I find myself using these images in two different movies on the scene: everyone gets a movieclip in the library (which contains the image I want).  So my original thought was simply to load (with the help of loadClip()) in the film of the library - which in turn arise under the movieclips of two floors with this clip of library in the panel mounting.  However, I can't get loadClip() to use a library object.

    I tried to export the library movieclip for actionscript (giving it a name) - but loadClip() doesn't seem to load in it.  I can't get loadClip() to load it into an instance that exist on the stage.

    Sorry if I ask a stupid question - I do not a lot of flash programming - even though I have a great experience of programming in other languages.

    So is this possible?  Is there another way to accomplish what I want to do?

    I can easily load it into an instance of movieclip - but I do not want to load each image twice (in two different clips that I need to handle)-where my desire to load into an object of single library that end up having multiple instances on the stage.

    My other thought was to load into an instance and then COPY this instance to the second instance.  But I can't seem to find a way to copy an element in another clip?

    Pointers would be much appreciated.

    Just to clarify, here is an example.

    * I have several clips library (call them clip1, clip2, clip3...)  that contain a single image with a JPG image in this context.

    * I have a movieclip called bkgnd library that has 10 images inside.  Each image has an instance of the various clips above (e.g. Framework 1 has inside clip1, framework 2A clip2, frame 3A clip3 inside etc).  At runtime, this movement is handled through gotoAndStop() to display a particular image.

    * I use this movieclip library bkgnd at TWO locations on the real scene (two cases).  Each is controlled via actionscript to display individual frames (images in particular) via the gotoAndStop() method.

    * I want to be able to load the individual images during run - my thought was to use loadClip() to load JPG files clip1, clip2, clip3... clips in the library.  However, loadClip() does not seem to load in a clip from the library.

    You cannot load in the library or in a clip from the library.  objects in your fla library do not exist in your swf file unless they are instantiated.

    You can load two times (and, if you wait until the loading is finished with the first load, the 2nd will be retrieved from the cache of the user and not downloaded) or you can use the bitmapdata's draw() method class' to copy the first loaded image and reproduce them.

  • Trailer Clip on the timeline

    Hi, I'm back to work Flash after a few years away from him and I wonder if TI a feature has been implemented in the latest versions of a few.

    My apologies in advance for what is inarticulate - I don't know exactly how to ask him.

    I would like to see an overview of what is happening to export on the timeline. For example, if I have a clip on the frame that has 20 images it contains, I currently only see the first frame of this film clip showing the scene when I scrub the playhead.

    Is it possible to see all executives who will show export, in this case the main timeline now?

    See you soon

    No, this has not changed. You can use test movie in the menu to preview your embedded movieClips.

  • Shadow of third video during the transition

    I'm new to first Pro.I manage with transitions. When I add a transition between two clips, I see a shadow of what looks like a third clip during the transition. This happens even if I'm only using desolve.

    I am changing a wedding video where I have a long clip with lots of cuts. I cut the clip, overlap the ends for 30 images then apply the transition. Even after that I made the transition I can still see the ghost shadow that has nothing to do with a pair of pliers.

    Any ideas?

    I'm using CS5

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Clip/window source moved to 170 individual clips in the project. Advice please?

    After copy and pasting of 170 clips individually to a new project to find a corrupted clip, (as when exporting the original file, I was getting the error-50 message), each window source of clip on the initial project evolved, 170 individual clips. (i.e. If I had used the first 2 seconds of a 1 minute clip in the library, it now supports the window to say the second 3rd and 4th, about each element).

    He did at the speed of some of the clips and usually put the entire video properly synchronized. It is a video clip with lots of cuts for different things with speeds of tampering.

    Can someone shed light on this question at all please? It seems strange to copy and paste everything and then each item changes its source location. Maybe there is a command of lock, I could use?

    P.S. I use an old version - iMovie 8.0.6 (don't know what year it is).

    Thank you!

    Hi redleif,

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

    I understand that you try to isolate an iMovie for a corrupt video project and you have copied each individual element in a new project. This is a good method for troubleshooting, but there is a different way that I would help you isolate these clips.

    First of all, I suggest the project of duplication. Duplicating a creates an exact copy of the project, including transitions. This will prevent you from having to import all individual clips.

    To duplicate the project, you can:

    • Select the project, and then choose file > duplicate project
    • Right click (control click) on the project and choose duplicate project

    Once the project has been duplicated, you can begin to isolate the clips to find one that has a problem. The best way to do this is to remove half of the clips and test. Continue to isolate by dividing your groups into halves, until you find the corrupt clip.

    Best!

  • Audio Clip (Clip) vs in the library

    Clip audio vs (Clip) in the library - what's the difference? I have all my audio record the same way, but it appears so in two different ways in the library... some appear in the Audio Clip # and others appear in the form of recording (Clip) #.

    Just curious,.

    Karin

    Hi Karin

    I think that those with (Clip) preceding the name indicate that they have been published subsequent to registration or importation.

  • Add a child to an object in the library?

    If I have a video clip in the library, how I use addChild() to bring to the stage?

    Should there be one on a previous frame before hand? If so it would make sense, because then I could give it an instance name. But is it possible to call to him, without putting it on the stage and in him giving an instance name?

    Normally, when I see used addChild() a form is created directly in actionscript, where the form, color, position, and scale are defined and then addChild is used at the end of the to put on the stage.   But I don't know how to do this with an object already in the library.

    I tried setting export for Actionscript in the symbol settings with as link name Place, but I get this error:

    Error 1067: Implicit coercion of a value of type class to a type unrelated to flash.display:DisplayObject

    If I don't get the previous error, I get this one:

    Error 1046: Type was not found or was not a compilation constant

    He alternates errors.

    My code on frame 1:

    place: place of var = new square();

    addChild (square);

    First, rename the name of link or 'Square' class names should be starting with capital letters so that they can be differentiated eassily in code.  Then change the code to be...

    place: place of var = new Square();

    addChild (square);

    part of the problem you had, is that you try to name a variable of the same name as the class name.  That will produce an error
