• GPIB-USB-HS will recognize any instrument in LabVIEW but somewhat done in MAX - help

  I'm having a problem getting my GPIB-USB-HS device to recognize instruments in LabVIEW.  The unit has been running year last on many instruments.  I tried the GPIB-USB-HS other materials too just to make sure it wasn't a defective unit.

  NOTE: I installed the latest drivers for NI-VISA 5.1.1 and 300 of NOR-488. 2 for Windows XP

  I'm not sure why there is a yellow "!" next to GPIB0::INTFC, I think it's an indication of my question.  However, note that the instruments connected to my GPIB-USB-HS are counted in MAX.  As you'll see LabVIEW 8.5 does not recognize them.

  

  I get this error Max warning when I try to open TOOLS > NI-VISA > VISA INTERACTIVE CONTROL:

  Problem solved after hours of uninstallation and reinstallation of all devices/software from National Instruments.

  Once all programs have been uninstalled (with a disk cleanup on my unnecessary hard-maybe records)

  LabVIEW 8.5.1 has been reinstalled

  NOR-DAQ has been reinstalled

  NI-Visa 5.1.1 has been reinstalled

  NOR-488. 2 worm 2.7.3 has been re-installed (correctly)

  Now, LabVIEW recognizes all ports/devices and connects to the instruments properly once more.

  My question must have been installing LabVIEW 8.5.1 after already installing LabVIEW 2009.

  Somewhere during the installation of 8.5.1 - main post problem occurred.

  Some time ago, I work with this cRio. but now, it does not appear in max OR but I can program in LAbview. CRio is not only NOR-max.

  I need to see to install software.

  Have you tried to manually add it to the MAX, right click of remote devices and adding them to the IP address?

• LabVIEW 2009 linux crashes when editing a control, or a constant of resources VISA

  Linux crashes when I click on a constant resources VISA (block diagram) or control (front).  This happens on LabVIEW 2009 SP1 32-bit for Linux on CentOS (similar to RedHat 6.3) 6.3.  I have updated drivers VISA 5.1.2 and that did not help.  Thanks in advance for any ideas of five Linux guys out there.

  My problem has been resolved with LabVIEW 2012.  To answer your question, LabVIEW would crash only trying to select another device in the list.  Thanks for your help.

  You need to calibrate your screen with a hardware calibration device. Whatever you have set as default is broken when it comes to Lightroom.

  As a workaround, you can remove your default monitor profile. (Control Panel/Color Management)  It will allow you to see your images, but that won't really accurate colors.

• GPIB do not list in LabVIEW but ranked in MAX

  Hi all

  I connected to my Yokogawa WT3000 by NI GPIB-USB converter.  His listed to MAX (GPIB1::1:INSTR).  But it is not listed in LabVIEW (resource VISA control).  When I tried "Open Panel Test of VISA", Max sound raise an error "VISA_ERROR_RSRC_NFOUND."  At the same time when I try to 'Communicate with Instrument', the device responds to commands.  So, I came to an agreement leading to the GPIB commands is communicated correctly with the instrument where as orders VISA is not provided with the instrument.  When I looked into VISA Interactive Control, the device is listed as unknown.  Can someone help me to list the instrument in LabVIEW (resource VISA)?

  The problem is resolved.

  The cause of the problem is because of these two GPIB-USB and the instrument used the same address "1".

  In the "GPIB1::1:INSTR" address, Word of firs is GPIB-USB converter address and the number of the Middle: 1: is the address of the instrument.

  In max, you can change these addresses in MAX as an administrator.  A few times, even running as administrator will not allow you to change this address, then you must restart the PC to activate the edit mode.

  Once you have changed this address with different numbers for the Instrument as 'GPIB2::1:INSTR' and GPIB-USB, it works very well and whose list of Visa LabVIEW resources.

  I connect serial port COM3 to a digital multimeter, I can sure that COM3 is displayed in Device Manager. but I don't know if COM3 is in the name of resource VISA list. If COM3 is not in the list, I want to update resource VISA name.

  So my question is how to program can get the entire list of the name of resource VISA, so that the program can compare resource VISA with COM3 automatically name? How the program can update the name of resource VISA, if COM3 is not in the list?

  Control of resources VISA automatically displays the available visa resources. If it isn't then looks like there was an error in the installation of NI-VISA.

• Can not find the name of resource VISA

  I am trying to run the example code, provided by the manufacturer with a 3a Keithley 2420 SourceMeter.  It is turned on and put in place for 488,1 protocol GPIB.  It is connected to my computer via a GPIB KUSB - 488A cable.  On the front panel of the example program, there is a menu drop down titled "VISA resource name."  The two options at my disposal are LPT1 and COM1, but I don't think one of this is the name of the resource on the right.  Does anyone know what the name of resource VISA should I use with the Keithley, or how I can find this? If it helps, I have provided the example program I use. Thanks in advance!

  As a general rule, only the material NOR will be recognized in MAX and you wouldn't get any VISA resource for Auditors not - NOR. If there is a VISA for the Keithley driver, you can try to install as secondary visa driver and enable Tulip MAX. Keithley support support is the best place to ask questions about the installation of their hardware to LabVIEW.

• Renewal of my membership CC, payments made, but all applications and programs have disappeared.

  I renewed my membership full CC on 6 January of this year.  Payment of 45UKP taken by Adobe.  All access to all CC programs disappeared.  When I connect it tells me I have one year subscription, but when I tried to download any program it tells me that I left the 0 days of my free trial and I wonder if I want to buy the product. I contacted Adobe customer support chat, they have no idea what is the problem and so just lie - telling someone will contact me by email and the problem will be solved within 24 hours.  No one ever contacted me.

  5 pages is located in your Applications folder.

  Pages ' 08 is located in your Applications/iWork ' 08 folder.

  If you open your old documents Pages ' 08 with 5 Pages it will convert and if not damage, remove a large number of useful features.

  You will probably regret upgrading to 5 Pages which Apple has made extremely inconsistent and keeps changing its file format.

I am very frustrated and have uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla nothing helps.

  If you do not want the Red number appears next to the app store, you must disable its insignia in notifications settings.

  To do this, go to settings > notifications > AppStore > and disable the badge icon

  Although this does not prevent the updates to appear once your in the app store, it's the next best thing by you annoying is not with the small number of red while you are on your home screen.
