Fixed height for site

Hi all

I want my site to stop scrolling and be of a fixed height. This has been done is this site in Muse. Can someone tell me how it's done?

Thank you

Jon

The site that is linked to your original message http://www.morethansquare.com/ uses two simple techniques of Muse.

(1) scroll is disabled for the background image of the browser (the box down in the browser panel fill).

(2) the photo of the building remains in the upper right of the browser window is simply a placed graphic that is placed in the upper right of the browser area (by default the gray area outside the page mode Design of Muse) and attached on the upper right corner of the browser by using the command "Pin" in the Control Strip.

Instead of setting a height 'fixed', consider defining a "min-height" for both boxes. In this way, the two boxes will be forever by a 'minimum height' first parameter. If there is more content, it will expand again.

  • Get a fixed header for Mobile site?

    Hello

I'm trying to put in place a fixed header for my mobile site. I have tried several things and continue to operate in the same question. Although I have not tried to display on another mobile platform other than iOS 8.1, but the issue I'm having, it's that my address bar will not collapse when I defined in the page scrolling effect. So what ends up happening, is that I'm losing the top of my page, because the address bar is always visible. Is there a work around?

I have attached a picture of my site and another site with what I am trying to accomplish.

    Thank you!

Unfortunately, it is a compromise. Scrolling effects on mobile devices are made with JavaScript, which prevents the iOS to shrink the image to the browser. See the link below:

  • Fixed height on a website - suggestions?

    Hi all

I need to be at the same height as on this page http://www.3ddream.NET/drivingskool/indexd.html

This should apply to all pages

    any suggestions?

You can view the css files - if it isn't let me know

    Hello

The "fixed height" of the site is not a fixed height. If you go between these two pages you will see that the height varies.

    http://www.3ddream.NET/drivingskool/RUS-b.html

    http://www.3ddream.NET/drivingskool/RUS-c.html

All they have done is limited content to give the impression that everything is content, but only for a given size of browser, if you resize your browser (to a smaller page size) then the difference in page size are more noticeable.

  • Text field scrolling fixed height that develops when printing?

    Hi all

I came across this before, but for the life of me I don't remember: ideas for what is required to set a text box so that the height is fixed and used scroll bars when it overflows the text box text, but on the printing of the document, and then expands so that all the text is visible and will be printed?

If I remember, it may be a little snippet of JavaScript code that is required, working on a print event?

All other items will be part of a fluid design so that nothing breaks, however it is important that seen on the screen, the text boxes have a fixed height. Only necessary to expand on print.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated: I have been on it for hours!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Take a look at the last page in this example: http://assure.ly/g80MVY

You'll see how in the preprint event we set the minH for the textfield property and assign a h property on postPrint.

    Hope that helps,

  • Problem of automatic height for container

I guess this has been asked here before, but I couldn't find it in a search. My problem is a reaccurring one and I think that there must be a simple answer to it.

When I run most of my Web site project I set up in the simple box model. I start with an overall envelope. I have a div of header on top, a div of the main content in the middle and a footer on the bottom div inside. Inside the main content div, I'm having several columns etc. Ideally the "mainContent" box would be set at height to auto, which would allow the page to keep the same layout without having to edit the css of one page to another. My problem is that if I put the box mainContent auto it will collapse to the top of the box and while the contents of the box (various divs inside it) appears correctly, the box itself will not. So far, my only solution is to define a height for the mainContent box. This means that I need to create "this page only" styles for pages with content differernt heights.

Is there something simple that I should do with my css mainContent div who will behave as it should? How is it that I don't have this problem with the wrapper div overall?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thank you

Maybe if I had to place a full-width div containing a 1 HR px at the end of the mainBox container and put this div to clear both, who would lead the other div to get back up and allow the strech heicht to adapt the content of these div tags?

That would certainly work, and in fact you wouldn't need the div at all - just the

You can check that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode (don't remember history).

    • Firefox > Preferences > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".
    • : Uncheck the [] "always use the private browsing mode.
  • Can not select Remember password for sites

I want Firefox to remember passwords for sites. But when I click on the place of 'Remember pass for sites' to the title of the window security options, the scale does not appear. How do I put it?

Make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode (don't remember history).

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".
    • : Uncheck the [] "always use the private browsing mode.

After the ESR 38.0.1 (and later upgrade to 38.0.5) the "Remember passwords for sites" setting is disabled after the closure of a browsing session. If I like the beginning of a new session, it works exactly as expected, but the setting never persists between sessions.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance

  • Stop asking save passwords for NEW sites, still keep filling passwords for sites ALREADY SAVED

So here's my problem. I have a handful of site where I leave FF save/fill in my password and user name information. For these sites, I WANT FF for save and continue to fill my login information. However, I do not want FF to save my credentials for ANY OTHER SITE.

Now while I have my login information stored in FF for these websites, if I disable "Remember passwords for sites" in Security Options, FF continues to fill my login information for these sites (despite the fact that it has always recorded info). Once I re - check this option, FF starts to fill in my password again.

AFAIK, disabling of "do not forget passwords for sites" is the only way to get FF to stop asking me if I want to have save my password, but if I do that it will also stop filling the passwords that I've saved.

So, is there a way either:
    (A) have "Passwords sites Remember" disabled, but that FF inserts passwords I already saved it, or
    (B) have 'passwords to Remember sites"enabled, but STOP asking me to save passwords for all new Web sites?

I want to ONLY FF to register AND fill the passwords that I've saved. I don't want to be prompted to save passwords for all new sites either.

Is this possible? Maybe an add-on or about: config setting I could change?

    Thanks in advance!

Can you send the photo? It would be very useful. I presume that you have gone through menu > Preferences > Security and ticked the box remember passwords, correct?
