  I have reported this bug, but have not heard an answer since I introduced the screencast video, they asked.

• Flash CS3 MovieClip artifact/bug?

  I'm having a serious problem with appearing in a SWF movie line objects.
  
  They appear between exactly consecutive MovieClip symbols that should have no spaces (more obvious when the adjacent shapes are be the same color).
  
  My workflow is:
  
  (1) take a PNG and Live Trace image it in Illustrator CS3 in fillings, Save AS.
  (2) import AI CS3 into Flash CS3 and convert each shape to MovieClip and give it a name by using wizard new funky.
  (3) manually to change the color of one of those cases of MovieClip to be identical to an adjacent MovieClip instance using the Flash IDE
  4) publish on SWF9
  
  Problem is the SWF9 published a serious line objects appearing between the two forms are exactly adjacent and have the same color. They should rather visually mix with any thin line between them.
  
  I can fix this problem do NOT convert forms of MovieClips when I import into Flash CS3 to step 2) above and then instead of changing the color of the same form that is now a drawing object. When I publish this version to SWF9, there is no online artifact, just perfectly mixed adjacent forms.
  
  Problem now is that I don't have the name of instances to import my SWF to Flex and programmatically manipulate the colors in my photo of beautiful small vector.
  
  Can it really be the case that I have to choose between the Visual integrity and functionality of programming after all the press releases and improvements?

  I found a hack to fix the problem:

  Give each instance of MovieClip a 0.25 solid linestyle with the same color as its fill color.

  What causes all the MovieClips that are adjacent to slightly bleed each other, thus hiding the unsightly gaps that have been heard.

  Since my original post, I discovered that the problem of the gap was actually present (although more subtle) in the file HAVE after using the trace function. It intensified after import in Flash CS3, but can be managed as above hack.

• 11 Flash crashing in all browsers

  I had any other problems with it. I usually use Chrome as my browser internet (on Mac OS X 10.6.8), and I kept getting ' this plugin is broken down: Shockwave Flash. At first, I thought it was just a problem with Chrome, but this happens in all browsers. I disabled in Chrome and reinstalled and reactivated it, and it is still not workin. I think I deleted / reinstalled four times already and he keeps having the same problem. Any time I go to a website with flash media (youtube, a site with a music player of somesort, google ads that have flash, etc.), it gives me a crash report.

• How can I get you Tube videos to play in Firefox? All I get is a black screen.

  YouTube won't play video. Flash already on my PC game videos, they just do not when I connect You Tube.

  I installed Flash version 10 and videos played on You Tube website, but wouldn't on my PC.

  I installed Flash player 11 with bug fix and now they will not play on You Tube but they do on my PC.

  You can check the problems caused by a recent update of Flash 11.3 and possibly upgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

  I have sensory processing problems and migraines Chronicles, then the blinking, animation, zoom, swerving, etc. on many web sites can be very painful.

• Integration of YouTube continues to crash the application.

  From yesterday, I was (I see others on the forum as well) the difficulties of integration of Youtube videos to Muse. I'm going to walk me through what I tried and what the results have been:

  Support and then asked me to create a new connection to the administrator on the computer. I didn't take this step, so I'm hoping to find a better solution. If anyone knows a solution please let me how this problem is growing very frustrating.

• The Native Error #3500 extension: after binding with some .lib file

  I'm building my second native extension and ran into a strange problem. The first native extension I built was purely a generation of source (without external libs), no problem at all. So with this second I use ffmpeg. I am trying to build a version for Windows (again), which means that I have 32-bit libraries in zeranoe.com. I have the include file .lib files and .dll. I pretty much cloned my previous project, which worked well, so I have the .bat files to build the donkey. Descriptor .xml etc.

  So I built the .ane as before, it included in my project and... got this:

  ArgumentError: Error #3500: the context of the extension doesn't have a method with the name fw_ffmpeg_create.

  I've been googling and check everything, but I saw no problem anywhere (it certainly isn't Flash Builder 4.6 bug, I don't use that). I have concluded, that there must be something with the .dll file, so I started to take the .dll ' extra' stuff, because I knew that my previous simple .ane worked. I took my code referring ffmpeg until I got it right away, so I found myself with empty class methods. Donkey rebuilt and no complains!

  So I added av_free() for fun (one of the ffmpegs functions), causes the link if everything goes well and there is once again, error: #3500 blabla.

  What is going on? Is a corruption taking place caused by the binding in the ffmpegs? I tried to compile the file .dll of ane in VS2012 and VS2013, same result. The test application uses Flash CS6 (even I now try to use IntelliJ). Just curious to know if anyone has seen this before an external lib could corrupt native extension in such a manner. There may be a compilation to avoid this, not sure.

  Replying to myself:

  After debugging AIR in Disassembler (Yes), I discovered that the error message comes as a result of a dll failed to load. I was getting 0XC0000135 return code of ldrLoadDll deeply inside AIR. I wasn't getting, since my ffmpeg dll was in the portfolio app (and when they did not have the app has complained, after I copied them on it didn't). Then I realized that may not be enough strangely, so I tried to copy in system32 so - and of course, #3500 has disappeared. I guess that ultimately the DLL must be somewhere else, but too tired to find out now.

  So, the thing is - even if AIR said that your function is not defined in the native extension (error #3500), that error could not be describing the real question. If your native extension dll fails to load for some reason any, that it will fail to load the ExtensionInitializer that fails to run ContextInitializer, if your function names are not available in the AIR.

  I still have other independent issues with my DONKEY (crashes) now, but it seems to be interacting with ffmpeg DLL finally. Well, at least I learned new things for 2 days.

• low resolution webcam recording on linux

  Hi Marcel,.

  This bug (our internal number is 2589240) has been postponed for the initial release of Flash Player 11 but is considered for future versions.  I personally have it brought up to our management team and I know that others are aware.  Jira is no longer used for Flash Player and the bugs are closed, could you open a new bug on to bugbase.adobe.com?  Once opened, I would like to encourage everyone with this question to the vote and comment in the bug.  We use these votes to help determine the priority for bug fixes in future builds.

• FB (Burrito) - Swap in DesignView components

  Hi, I have a pretty basic question but can't seem to Google News. Here's a common scenario (for starters, perhaps more than pros): you start preparing your application - for example - a TabNavigator filled with a HGroup, which is filled with a number of elements. Then you realize: 'oh shit, I didn't HGroup, I wanted the Panel.

  My question - how to exchange the HGroup for the Panel (in DesignView) component without losing the contents of the HGroup? Of course, I can switch to the code and manually edit the tag of the element, but if it's so easy to do it by hand, it should be just as easy to do in DesignView. Similar to the symbol of the Swap of the Flash IDE.

  Ideally, there should be context-click. Of course, you cannot exchange a HBox for a button. Right click on the offending component - select component Swap - choose the new component in a drop-down list of eligible items.

• Embed fonts turn off WordWrap

  I think this new version of Flash (10) might be bugged.
  
  I'll put up a text field the standard way in the IDE, so the behavior of MultiLine and incorporating the standard font characters.
  
  If I do, the text field wraps only the LAST word in a paragraph! : o
  
  Also, I get something like:

• annoying "POPS" when an audio loop

  I've created a loop for my site that support music and set it to loop. The file loops perfectly in all applications including logic and itunes, but I get a pop sound like loops of file in Flash. Its really bugging me that the track are ambient and it ruins the usability of the site. Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks guys, Dren.

  I noticed this also. It's two things.

  (1) MP3 files were always a few milliseconds of silence no matter how code you them beginning and end. The only way I found it had to import WAV files into my project. When Flash exports the project he recodes for MPEG3 audio, but silence isn't here.

  (2) under OS X, I'm always boring pop and out of sync loops little matter what I do. Under Windows, after doing step 1 the sound of loops perfectly, yet under OS X loops always sound terrible. I tried and tried to find a way around it but nothing worked so I wrote chalked it up to be a bug in the OS X Flash player.
