Flash graphic on Apex 4.0 category title

I am new to use apex, especially the graphics feature. I use a flash chart and I use a simple query to the LOB (business) group in the price.

Select ' f? p = & APP_ID.:1 :'|| : app_session |': ' link, LOB, value1 COUNT (REQUEST_ID) label
"Awards".
LOB group

Is it possible for me to be able to click on each individual TRADE (on the graph itself because the link is not on the title) and then pass this value LOB to another page which will produce a graph of the branches where LOB = lob_clicked_on?

I apologize if it was very complicated but I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to understand this.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

Have you tried to change the link to take you to your destination page of your choice, where the link sends the selected relevant LOB.

select 'f?p=&APP_ID.:DESTINATION_PAGE:'||:app_session||'::::P2_LOB:'||lob link
  ,LOB label, COUNT(REQUEST_ID) value1
from "awards"
group by LOB

PS - I'm sorry for you to have the tiny table names

  • Apex Flash graphic problem

    Hello

    I have 3 different flash (pie) chart in the same region. They have all weight and height chart. But when I run it, they are not same in terms of size and weight. I guess that the problem is related with the tags they have. Because one of them has 3 different value (tag) as A, B and C. And one of them has a different value 5. I think I have to change Chart XML. But how? How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Hi "user13385266"

    You did not mention the APEX version you are running. AnyChart automatically adjusts the size of the chart to display the labels associated with it. So if your chart is long labels, this can result in the size chart, if the labels are placed outside your pie chart. By default, the graphics created via defined assistants mode position of label on the outside. However, if you change this setting via XML custom to set the mode of the label on the inside, then you should be able to view all your panels the same size. Otherwise, you would need to adjust the length of your chart labels, to a length standard in all of your graphics.

    I have set up an example here - http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=36648:37 - where the two regions were exactly the same height & width, but the table sizes are different because of the position of label.

    I hope this helps.

  • Graphics of APEX with Flash gives error error e/s in the graph area

    Hello

    Thank you! for your answers...

    Brad & pleNn,

    The graph was made on our machines and machines of the user of the client unless a user...

    Since it is the user's machine, we cannot debug APEX...

    As part of the troubleshooting in the user's computer:

    Checked the control panel > add or remove programs found that has been installed Flash player and Shockwave player is not installed, but, when looked at Internet settings explore > addon I've seen Shockwave Flashobject is present which makes the table and it shows active... So, it was a little confusing and I thought that the Shockwave Player must be installed and

    I told the user to do things below and it WORKED like a charm...

    1. Uninstall Flash player
    2. Reinstall Internet Explorer
    3. Install the latest version of Flash player from the Adobe Web site

  • 'Function SQL Query return' using with Flash graphics

    I created a pl/sql function that returns a SQL query in a varchar2 of this form:

    Select the null link
    -value > < x value
    < value y of Series1 > series 1 label
    < value Series2 y > 2 series label
    < value of y Series3 > series 3 Label
    ...
    ...
    from tablea a
    Join tableb b
    On a.col = b.col
    order of < x value >

    If I call the function of a graphic Flash box series SQL with the Type of Source query "SQL query" value that returns the function like this:

    return functionname (to_date ('30-sep-2010, ' mon-dd-yyyy ""))

    It parses correctly and the page is saved; However, when I run the page I get no output - error messages or another indication of a problem.

    Now, if I call the function in a SQL client, capture the result of the query SQL using the dbms_output and paste that into the box graphic Flash series SQL - change the Source Type of SQL query query - and save the page it works fine when I run it and returns a chart series flash.

    Can anyone suggest either;

    1. what I might have missed or done wrong?
    2. a way to effectively diagnose the problem...

    I tried to use the debugger Apex - what is very nice, indeed - but it provides no information on what might be my problem. I tried to write my own my function debug messages using the apex_debug_message package - nothing...

    Thank you
    Eric

    Hi Eric,.

    Try to pull the source like this:

    begin
       return functionname(to_date('30-sep-2010', 'dd-mon-yyyy'));
    end;

    This works very well for me, and if I take the begin-end and the final semicolon from the return statement I get the same behavior as you.

    He doesn't mention in aid of the source (only during the wizard if) this source type must be expressed in this way, but I agree, it would be useful that the tool would validate to this format meets it "Query SQL that returns the function" or give some sort of indication of the sentence. In any case, this should help you will again.

    Hope this helps,
    John

  • Flash graphic problem on onload

    Hello
    Apex 4.1.1 oc4j, linux, oracle 11g

    I use a flash pie chart that depends on the date of entry by the end user. I also gave default date as sys-1 as more accurate data are based on s/n sys-1.
    I also a parallel report chart-Flash which is also dependent on the date entered by the end-user (even as a flash chart), loads of report (data shows) when loading the page or refresh but chart flash does load not up to what I touched the button send or press enter as a date.
    All I get is a large yellow circle on the loading of the page, which could be confusing for the end user.
    you guys can help me with this.

    your contribution is very much appreciated.

    Source item values / default affect items as rendered on the page, but are not saved in session state where they are available in the SQL source region until the page is sent. (You can see this by using the Session Viewer when the page is rendered first.) To get the values in session state and rendering elements, create calculations before heading to set P27_DP_TTF_START_DATE and P27_DP_TTF_END_DATE. Each calculation condition on the value of the element is null.

    The report presents data without parameters, because the swing counties will always return 0 if the query returns no rows.

  • Update a flash chart in Apex 4.2

    Hello

    APEX 4.2, Oracle 11 g r2.

    We went to Apex 4.2 last week.
    The table updates no longer work.

    I used a JavaScript function defined in the source of the region (region definition) to refresh your diagram by clicking on a button, but as you know the source of the region is not available in the apex 4.2 so my feature has been removed and everything is broken...

    What is the best way to update a flash (or HTML5) chart from JavaScript to the APEX 4.2? ( I don't want to not use dynamic actions )
    I can't find anything in the documentation.

    Thank you.

    Yann.

    Hi Yann,

    Charts now support dynamic action of 'Refresh' and there is no need to use an undocumented APEX JavaScript APIs more. So I recommend that you create a dynamic shooting action for the event "Click" of the button that performs an action "Refresh" for the area of your chart.

    If you really don't want to use dynamic measures, you can also use

    jQuery( "#static_id_of_your_region" ).trigger( "apexrefresh" );

    in your JavaScript code to trigger a refresh of your chart region.

  • Tecra M3 flashing graphic problem

    I have a M3 Tecrea that comes with having a clean install / Win XP Pro with all the drivers on the Toshiba site. It is running BIOS 1.5 with Nvidia GeForce GE TE 6200 with 71.36 driver version new fom the Toshiba site. When initially, I tried to install the drivers for video controller (Nvidia), it blocks to halfway with the BSOD and restarts only is safe mode with all the text DOS/BIOS boot corrupted. Once in safe mode of Windows, the graphics are very good. If I install the Nvidia driver in safe mode all seems well but sometimes will crash on boot with the BSOD again and the corrupt boot DOS/BIOS text. If I turn off the video controller the boot corruption erors and question BSOD seems to disappear?

    After reviewing several forums there is some conflicts about what is the question. It seems like a hardware failure of video chip on the motherboard or is it software? There seems to be a problem with Nvidia video chips on these boards frying because of overheating?

    Any ideas or comments would be welcome.

    If the text is damaged in DOS mode, then I doubt that it's a software problem.

    I would like to take the laptop to a repair center, to me it looks like a graphic chip problem.

  • APEX 4.1.1 title of the region as a link to an application page

    Hello
    I have a page with many areas where I would like the title of region to be a link to another page in the application, so when the user clicks on the title redirected to this page.

    I saw a number of variables like APP_ID etc but I can't seem to figure how to use in this case.

    Good ideas on how to do it?

    Kind regards
    Andy

    You should be able to create a view single element on the page, P1_ITEM then fill this article with your link, then enter the title of region & P1_ITEM.

    Include point.

    I guess that the region is configured to display the title.

    PS - Create a hidden region that this element of the page will reside in so it does not display elsewhere on the page.

  • Apex 4.0.2 manipulate graphical Flash using Javascript?

    Hi all

    Has anyone of you used the AnyChart.js successfully provided to manipulate a chart generated with Apex?

    My goal is...

    * 1.* power show/hide series on the fly.
    * 2 using two y-axis I must control if a series is displayed using the axis y main or the y axis high school. (I have a dynamic number of series (1-20) displayed at any time)

    Some of the problems I am facing...

    a. in the Flash graphic - region Source < OBJECT > tag < EMBED > creates the Chart Flash object on the page. When the flash object is created in this way the object does not appear to have the function of external Interface available.

    A temporary solution could replace the Flash graphic - region Source with this code:

    <script src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#flashchart/anychart_5/js/AnyChart.js"; type="text/javascript"></script>
    <div id="my_#CHART_NAME#"></div>
    <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
      var c_#CHART_NAME# = new AnyChart("#IMAGE_PREFIX#flashchart/anychart_5/swf/#CHART_TYPE#.swf");
      with(c_#CHART_NAME#) {
        width = "#WIDTH#";
        height = "#HEIGHT#";
      }
      with(c_#CHART_NAME#.messages) {
        init = "#FLASH_INIT#";
        loadingXML = "#FLASH_LOADING#";
        loadingResources = "#FLASH_RESOURCES#";
        loadingTemplates = "#FLASH_TEMPLATES#";
        noData = "#FLASH_NO_DATA#";
        waitingForData = "#FLASH_WAITING#";
      }
      c_#CHART_NAME#.setXMLFile("#HOST#apex_util.flash?p=;APP_ID.:&FLOW_PAGE_ID.:&APP_SESSION.:FLOW_FLASH_CHART5_R#REGION_ID#");
      c_#CHART_NAME#.write("my_#CHART_NAME#");
    </script>
    Now I have access to the library of AnyChart.js, but it there a better way?

    b. the worst problem is that the absence of ID's < series > and < point >. Apex generates the series of data in the xml response, as
    <series name="SALES" type="Line" color="0x1D8BD1">
    <point name="01-01-2011" y="0"></point>
    Missing persons ID must be a bug.
    <series id=”some_series_id” name="SALES" type="Line" color="0x1D8BD1">
    <point id=”some_point_id” name="01-01-2011" y="0"></point>
    No idea as to the difficulty of the missing id?

    -----
    I am currently using Application Express 4.0.2.00.06 by the way

    Thank you
    Kenny

    If you generate the XML for the series yourself (for example Re: #DATA # in Chart XML you can include the ID you need.) Using your approach, it's how I got tilt series for work.

    1 replace the source of the region for a flash chart to be javascript you provided (there's a guy on the xml url -;) APP_ID. should be & APP_ID.)
    2. Add a function within the script from the source of the region tags to switch series

    function chartSetSeriesVisible(e) {
      var target = e.target ? e.target : e.srcElement;
      if (target.nodeType == 3) target = target.parentNode;
      var isVisible = target.checked;
      c_#CHART_NAME#.showSeries('MY_SERIES_ID', isVisible);
      c_#CHART_NAME#.refresh();
    }

    Note the line - c_ #CHART_NAME # .showSeries ('MY_SERIES_ID', isVisible); includes the name of the diagram and hard-codes the name of the series of my XML generated

    3. set an action on a checkbox or something else trigger this function by putting "onclick =" chartSetSeriesVisible (event) "" in the "form element HTML attributes" for the control

  • rounding to a graphic flash

    Hello
    I created a flash chart using a simple application.
    The table works fine only my values are rounded to full (full) numbers.

    Is there a way to round to two digits?

    I tried round(column,2) value but does not work.

    Any ideas?

    Best regards Erik

    Hi Erik,

    To help solve your problem, could you please give some more information -

    * What APEX version do you use?
    Create diagram you what?

    When you change your chart, go to the page attributes of table and scroll to "Settings main" region. You should see an item called "decimal", where you can enter the number of decimal places that you want to display the values on your chart. Set the decimal value e.g. value * 2 *, then click on apply changes. When you run the graph, your values should appear, with two decimal places. Please note that for pie charts, the decimal element is visible on the region to "display settings."

    If your page attributes of table has no a question of numbers after the decimal, then you need to use custom XML to apply this setting to your graphic. The XML code required to do this depends on the version of the APEX and Flash graphics you use. For example, if you use APEX 3.2 or earlier, Flash cards are AnyChart version 3.3 and the XML required will look something similar to the following:

      .
      .

    .. where you can see the decimal_places = '2' attribute is defining the number of decimals to 2.

    If you use APEX 4.0/4.0.1/4.0.2, then Flash cards are AnyChart version 5.1.3 and the required XML code will look something similar to the following:

        {%Name}{enabled:False} - {%Value}{numDecimals:2,decimalSeparator:.,thousandsSeparator:\,}

    .. where you can see the numDecimals:2 attribute is defining the number of decimals to 2.

    I hope this helps.
    Kind regards
    Hilary

  • Auto Flash generates graphical interpolation

    I noticed this thing that Flash graphic symbols auto generated and names it Tween1, Tween2, etc..

    I don't know why this is happening. It often happens when I have something and then this graphic symbol support appears in the tween library.

    Do I really need them, it's a mulfunction flash and I can safely remove?

    No idea why they produce, am I doing any wrong steps with interpolation and so they appear?

    From my experience, these graphs generated by Flash usually come to be as a result of evil create interpolations of scenario... they basically fill in some other missing links.   To correctly create a timeline Tween (classic), you need to have the same exact symbol at the two ends of the interpolation.  The only difference being a few changes in the properties of the object between the two images, such as position, rotation, color, etc.

    I can't remember / pinpoint exactly what scenario triggers in order to be able to demonstrate the good compared to the offending method of their creation.

    Chances are, if you remove them you lose something of the interpolation... but I recommend trying it just so that you could learn from the experience.
