Flash.ocx required to run the program...
Hello
I push myself a little crazy by an error message which began this afternoon. I use a program called Activstudio and until today it worked fine. This morning I went to update the flashplayer from adobe on my system and uninstalled the existing adobe products. Now, I get an error message that says that this version of windows does not have the file flash.ocx that is required to run the program. I have installed and uninstalled adobe Flash Player and shockwave player on a number of occasions now, I also searched on the net for about 4 hours to try the tips people gave for similar problems. A good idea to copy the file flash.ocx and rebonding it in the c: windows\system32\macromed\flash folder, but the file flash.ocx does not exist so I can't do that. I even downloaded the file flash.ocx by himself and place it in the folder, but nothing seems to work... I don't have the original to the program software CD as it is a program I have given by a school for educational purposes...
any help would be very welcome because I can't access one of my lessons...
Nina
Hi neeny468,
Try the system restore and verify the result. If this does not help, then you will need to get the software to reinstall the program successfully.
Step 1: Restore the computer to an earlier time when it was working fine
a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
b. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
d. click Finish.
e. restart the computer and check if the problem persists.
See What is system restore? : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-System-Restore
You can also post your query to the adobe forums as they may be able to help with this:http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa

LVDT offset before running the program
Hi all
I use an LVDT to measure the movement of the ground. This must take into account both the consolidation and swelling and therefore requires the LVDT to move in both directions. As a result, the voltage must be reset after the LVDT is pushed so that it can record both negative and positive direction. So far I managed to do it using a business structure that runs when the "zero" button is pressed. However, it comes into force once the program is run. What I need is a button "zero out" which can be used before the program is executed. I want so push in the lvdt, click on the "zero" button, then start running the program to avoid these initial tensions is recorded on the xy graph.
I found a vi file that does this, but it was very complicated and used old version of labview. I'm relatively new to labview and therefore could not follow the coding on it.
I've attached the vi file to make it easier to understand. Your help is greatly appreciated
See you soon,.
Gurung
Two screen grabs show how I did the same 'Auto zéro' function when you use an LVDT to measure displacement, I was also saving strength at the same time then graphically representing the post record results.
On the first race the true / false loop is set to TRUE, in this case the displacement is subtracted from zero to provide compensation, this offset value is then passed to the shift register where it remains as a constant for subsequent itterations of the main loop, while the value is simply passed straight through the true / false loop with nothing done to it on all iterations after the first.
The offset value is then added to the data read from the LVDT to provide a number of displacement from zero since all that the program was headed all first. There is a 'Save' button on front of who's in a hurry to start and stop recording data - hope this is a help - Mike

Signature problem when you run the program BluetoothDemo on Blackberry 8320
Hello
I try to connect from my computer to the Blackberry 8320 using a serial Bluetooth transceiver. The "BluetoothDemo" program is not function properly. When I run it, I first see a white screen with "Bluetooth Sample" at the top. I click on the trackball and I get a menu with the options 'Listening to connections' and 'Full Meno'. I click on listen for connections and a screen pops up that says "connect to an external device and then type something...» "I type something on the Blackberry and the letters appear, but no other options appear to verify a Bluetooth connection. I have already associated the Bluetooth with Blackberry, but the connection failed appears when I run the program BluetoothDemo. When I click the trackball again, I see the full menu with "Serial Port close',"Get DB", etc..
In my view, that there is a problem with secure API signatures. Obviously the 'BluetoothDemo' program is not run after the first steps. When I debug on Blackberry, I see the following output from the console, which leads me to believe that there is a problem with signatures:
ocusHistory: Focus lost; Home screen App; Component net.rim.device.apps.internal.ribbon.launcher.RibbonIconField

BT: SppWrite-1 failed: 1
Unable to write data. Exception: java.io.IOException: BtSppWrite failedI was puzzled at first running the program of BluetoothDemo and initially built and generated a file alx for the com_rimbluetoothserialportdemo program, which I think is used by the BluetoothDemo program. The com_rimbluetoothserialportdemo program is currently connected to Bluetooth tx/rx, as indicated by the status of remaining devices firmly on instead of flashing (when BluetoothDemo runs the status light flashes, indicating no connection). When I switch between workspaces in which I have these projects, the set of keys is not signed, and I have to sign in again, which seems to cause the keys in the other workspace to become not signed. As further evidence of the strange signature problem, sometimes when I run either on the Blackberry there is an error that says that the application is not signed.
I want to delete the workspace and the file alx com_rimbluetoothetc could be a step in the right direction. Do I have reason to assume that the 'no sig 0 x 33' is a problem with API signature secure? Could BluetoothDemo access to com_rimbluetoothserialport and be denied because there no signatures? Thanks for any help you can provide.
Not sure that your reading of the code is correct.
_dout.writeInt (JUST_OPEN);
_dout. Flush();These two statements will write out - which seems to be the first thing the code does. Then it goes into a loop of reading, but suppose a specifically formatted data.
In my test, I removed these and replaced with something that I thought he would be working and I'm depending on the device. As noted yesterday picked up O the data of a GPS puck - these things just send data, they never expect anything in return. So my code looks like this:
byte [] buffer = new byte [1024]; for (;;) { int len = _din.read(buffer); String justRead = "Read: " + Integer.toString(len) + " bytes: " + new String(buffer, 0, len) + '\n'; System.out.println(justRead); }

vCo question UAC "run the program in comments.
Hi all
I fight on a question to vCo 'Running the program as a Guest' workflow by default.
In fact I use it to call some Powershell Scripts on a network share because WinRM is not enabled on my VMs.
The question that I myself is scripts are intended to be run from a "privileged" powershell prompt (right-click-> run as administrator when the interractive mode), otherwise does not work.
But by default when I start powershell call scripts using the "program in the operating system performance invited', apprently it does not use the"privileged"mode.
I tried to call one using powershell: start-process - runAs verb - ArgumentList ".ps1 file path" but does not work.
UAC is enabled, it is perhaps the issue (when you do start-process-verb runAs - ArgumentList "path to the .ps1 file" in an interactive session, I got warning of validation UAC popup).
Does someone had the same problem about UAC / run the program in comments feed?
Any idea how I could get rid of him?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Shane
Unfortunately UAC DO blocks calls to run as a Guest that require elevated privileges. I have not found a way past this other than having disabled UAC. This might be acceptable during the deployment of virtual machines in a secure area "landing" of the network, allowing many operations comments that will take place, as a final step, then go VM OR appropriate to apply the strategy group that forces the UAC and then move VM out of the landing zone to its permanent home on the network.

Can not run the program "keytool": java.io.IOException
Hello
I would like to follow the procedure to change the password

Past change key word command failed.

GlassFish@ahost:/opt/glassfish3/GlassFish/Domains/mydom01/config > what java

GlassFish@ahost:/opt/glassfish3/GlassFish/Domains/mydom01/config >
Glassfish entire works well outside it.
keytool could be found in/usr/java/latest/bin/keytool.
We need to have that in the path? There is no requirement in the
Installation Guide for this, nor did the RPM installation adjust the system
path accordingly.
I hope someone can tell my how things should be in regards to keytool?
Thank you, TomHi Tom,
the procedure to change the password for the listener of glassfish server hosting APEX
... more like a topic related to GlassFish for me. I guess you will get the best answers to these questions in a GlassFish related forum...
For what it's worth, I'll try my best even when:
Can not run the program "keytool": java.io.IOException: error = 2, no such file or directory
This seems to be a pretty clear error message: keytool , which probably is used to manage keys for users of GlassFish, was not found. This means, you are either running on an operating system that is not officially certified for GlassFish, or you GlassFish has not been configured correctly.
You have runGlassFish@ahost:/opt/glassfish3/GlassFish/Domains/mydom01/config > which java
/ usr/bin/Java... which means that you assume your GlassFish runs without being set JAVA_HOME. If that's true, I'm install you GlassFish correctly from this setting.
Anyway, you have also discovered thatkeytool could be found in/usr/java/latest/bin/keytool.
... that is not + / usr / bin + and probably not in the way of global search of the user on whose behalf your GlassFish is running. Then, you can either create a link [*] for c++ / usr/bin/keytool + do (finally) to + / usr/java/more late/bin/keytool +, or you setup JAVA_HOME to be + / usr/java/last +.
[*] Note that depending on your operating system, there may be more than one stage of indirection, for example my Ubuntu a + / usr/bin/java + pointing on + / etc/alternatives/java + which points on + / usr/lib/jvm/java-6-Sun/jre/bin/java + where + / usr/lib/jvm/java-6-Sun / + points to the directory containing the real JDK to use. You will probably find something like this on your system. My Ubuntu box has a link for + / usr/bin/keytool +, so I get when running "what keytool. We need to have that in the path? There is no requirement in the installation guide for that, nor the RPM installation has adjusted the path system accordingly.
Again, this is not a forum of GlassFish.
I hope my advice helps you solve your problem. If they are not, please choose the appropriate forum for your next post on this topic. And I guess, giving additional information about your OS and how you manage your JDK (and which version you use) help people here to help you.
Thank you
Udo

This should be easy to set up using the Task Scheduler .
(1) launch of Task Scheduler of Panel > administrator tools > Task Scheduler , or type Task Scheduler in the start menu.
(2) use Action > create a task to start.
(3) set up your task by giving it a name and by providing credentials if necessary.
(4) under triggers tap new and choose on workstation unlock . You can choose to trigger the task for any user or group, or a specific user.
(5) under Actions tap new and then locate the program that you want the task to run. You can add arguments here or point to a script. If you need assistance with setting up your task, try the Help menu in Task Scheduler task or by mail here.

I run the program "TuneUp utilities" and I recently received a notification of the statement that "the BHDrvx64device does not work correctly" program proposed to update the driver, but there is no provision in any of the dialog boxes. Windows Help and support says: help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that is not included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view help created in the Windows Help format. All this brought me here, please, how to fix this?
The last thing you want to do is install and run any third tuneup/Optimizer program.
In the worst cases of such utilities can cause system failure or program, uninstall it, having restored firstly of the changes he could do.
