  Hello

  I'm using Adobe Flash CS6 (15 AirSDK) for android applications. I have always noticed that the process of publication in flash is only 3 sizes of icons-app: 36 x 36, 48 x 48 and 72 x 72. In the descriptor xml that looks like this:

  In previous versions of AirSDK (3.4 and 3.5) this is less of a problem, since the app icons where at least somehow always put on the scale to fit the size of the icon of the application to the android device. With newer AirSDKs however they stay as they are, which is incredibly small on new devices and who looks just ridiculous! Since flash itself does not an option to add larger icons, I tried to write them in the descriptor myself, as:

  But when I do that, flash that rewritten or, when I write of the descriptor protection, gives an error:

  "application descriptor file cannot be parsed.

  I need to get this fixed! :-S ...  I guess by either the reactivation of this scale-to-fit thingie in the SDK itself somehow (since it did and still does not work with for example AirSDK 3.4) or be able to add more icons. Is there someone who has to be treated, or knows how to get around this problem? Cause right now I'm stuck, since always, I compiled my AirForAndroidApps this way, and I need the latest version of the SDK to my milkmanANEs to work.

  Very well. I found an answer:

  Yes, you can and must add these icons via the descriptor file, since the flash usually allow you to. But until you do that, go into the settings 'Air release' in flash. Here, right on page 1, there is the section "include files". Add your png icon there. Click OK and exit the settings. Now open the descriptor with a Publisher outside the Flash and write to the files I posted above. Close. Record. Do write protected. No go to flash and publish.

  The password is provided by the operating system and is designed to protect you from accidentally install software.  You will get this prompt for any installation outside the context of the App Store.

  If you do not need to enter a user name or password when you start your computer, you can probably just leave the password field empty when recognizing this prompt.

• The connection has failed the installer of Flash Player on Mac for Safari

  I'm Mac OS 10.10.3 (Yosemite) on a MacBook Air. Try to install the updated release of Flash Player for use in Safari 8.0.8 (the latest version).   In fact, this answer has not quite help me. However, I decided to restart in safe MODE (by pressing the SHIFT key at startup). It worked! I was finally able to install the new version of Flash Player.

• Adobe flash player and filters for DirectShow in IE

  For video capture of webcams for sites with flash (youtube, livestream and etc.), I use a driver and a DirectShow filter. The user loads a page with flash and chooses a driver or a filter from the list of camera flash for video capture settings.

  My problem. To win 8.1 x 64 in Internet Explorer 11 flash does not show the DirectShow filters, only drivers.  I see these filters in Chrome, Firefox and Skype, but it's not in IE! No problem with IE in flash for Win 7 x 86 / x 64.

  Ok.  The case is heard by me.  IE support flash 64 bit, which does not include my 32-bit filter.

  No problem, I do 64-bit filter and test it on VLC 64-bit. All right, VLC shows me my filter in its list.

  Now I load IE with a flash page and... the filter is not in the list of flash! Why?

  Please any ideas.

  PS. OS, browsers, flash player have the latest updates on PC.

  Not all of the options.   IE is part of the operating system and only works with the drivers.

  PS. I'm afraid I have bad news, MS Edge doesn't work at all with Directshow!. But you can open the page in border and call Internet Explorer via the border properties

  Any case I look at Media Foundation, as an alternative to DS.
