  I have a simple question, which is the best web browser for Oracle ApEx (Application Express)? I already know the answer, Firefox, but Firefox is blacklisted by my current employer.
  
  My main reason for asking such a question is to help me make a case for my internet company security guards to allow Firefox to install on the workstations of the ApEx developers. Currently, we are limited to using Internet Explore (IE 6.x) only.
  
  The security of Firefox has been implemented for not allowing it is installation or use on all computers on our corporate network. There are some who believe that IE 6.x is more secure than Firefox 3.x.
  
  My expertise as a developer experienced ApEx that was used at the time and has become a more effective developer since I use Firefox with the Firebug plug-in. Firefox and Firebug allows a JavaScript debugging that is far superior to JavaScript debugging utility that is available for IE 6.x.

  Safari and Firefox share the same Flash Player, so something is happening with Firefox.  Are you running any plugins of ad-blocking or anti-suivis?

  You could try Firefox > help > restart with disabled modules.

  If this does not work, you might just try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox.
