Enable export Powerpoint 2007 + option for a analysis on a dashboard OBIEE

Hi all

Whenever I try to export an analysis of the obiee catalog, I could see Powerpoint-> Powerpoint 2003, Powerpoint 2007 + options. While if I try to export the same analysis from a dashboard page, I saw only option Powerpoint but not powerpoint 2003 and powerpoint 2007 options +...

Can anyone let me know, where I can edit/change the menu Export for dashboard display Powerpoint 2007 + also in the export for dashboard menu.

OBIEE Version: 11.1.1.6.2

Thanks in advance.

I have it. We had a customMessages folder that has been crushing the default set of export options. Fixed it and it worked.

Hmm, don't know why you post here in the forum of Toshiba
It s certainly not a Toshiba laptop problem, but something wrong with your office package.

I think that you need to uninstall the desktop of the system.
Clean the registry with CCleaner (you can use another tool if you know another better ;)) and after several reboots, you could install the whole Office package and could tart update.

There are also some documents posted by Microsoft about this error:

  • Adobe CS5 require powerpoint 2007 or if it will work with 2003

I work in it for a company, and we have some users say that they need Powerpoint 2007 work with CS5.

I would like to know if CS5 requires Powerpoint 2007 for certain tasks or if 2003 is sufficient. From my understanding work completed in CS5 can be exported to powerpoint, but I don't understand how Powerpoint 2007 can offer more benefits than 2003 after export.

If the two can be used anyone can tell me the 2007 offers additional benefits more in 2003 to justify the purchase of 2007

The reason why I'm writing here is I do not use the suite CS5 and have not been able to find this information on the internet elsewhere.

    Any comments much appreciated

There is no interdependence express or another really no direct connection between applications Adobe any version CS and MS Office of any version. With the help of content between applications is a question of appropriate image format. You can save images using CS5 that will work in Office 97. And the same could be said for Photoshop 7 and Office 2007, or Photoshop (any version), office (any version).
