Flash player 14 - recovery install does not

Hardware: Macbook Pro 2008

2.4 GHz Intel core 2 Duo

4 GB of Ram

OS: 10.9.4

Whenever I have launch and run the installation of dmg, he said get install but remains at 0% and the said application is not responding.

I tried to uninstall Flash player and have verified that:

  1. / Library/Internet Plugins/Flash Player.plugin file is not present;
  2. Flash Player installation manager is not present;
  3. Restarted the Mac; and
  4. The repaired disk permissions.

But I still can't Flash player install. Can anyone suggest anything else to try?

    Hi all

  • I'm using a MAC with the current software. I am trying to download Adobe Flash Player. My password does not work. I ' v reset my password and restarted my computer. I need help with my password at the bottom of load.

    I'm on a MAC and my password does not work, I reset my password and I can not even download Adobe Flash Player.

    This password is presented by your operating system and is designed to prevent you from accidentally installing the software.

    If it comes to your personal computer and you don't need a password to connect to the computer when it first starts, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to go to this prompt.  If it comes to your personal computer and your normal password does not work, make sure that CAPS LOCK SHIFT is off, and then type the password carefully.

    If this is your work machine and he asks an administrator password, well, you will need to have a conversation with your computer friendly.

    If you are still puzzled, you may need to reset the password on your Mac:

  • Help download Flash Player 10?  None does not work?

    Hello world

    I hope someone can help me, because I go crazy about it.  So I try to download flash player 10.  It is said that I downloaded successfully, but I get no animation, and on youtube, it tells me that I need the latest version of the flash player.

    I'm under IE 8, my OS is Windows XP with service pack 2.

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I tried the suggestions I have read here, and I don't know how to start IE in safe mode.  I copied the instructions on start, run, iexplore - extoff and that did not work.  When I did, I have the bar at the top of the screen, saying that I had to manage my Add ons, and he never gave me an option to allow it to install.

    I tried going through the Control Panel, uninstall all of my adobe products (reader, flash player, shockwave), and then reinstall them, and it does not work.

    If someone could help me please, I would really appreciate it!  As a reminder, I get the message saying I have version 10, 22 and something else, I don't remember more than this, but no video animation.  It says it's successful, but there is no video to prove it.  Sites Web tell me that I don't have.  I don't mean to sound really stupid or whatever it is, I don't know how to get it, and I really want to!

    Please, please, someone help!  I'm desperate!  Thank you very much!!

    Try the following

    If you use Internet Explorer and Flash Player will still not install, IE start try mode safe as follows and try to install it from there

    Start-> Run-> type iexplore - extoff

  • Firefox off telling me to upgrade to the new version of the flash plugin. I can't upgrade to the latest Adobe flash player 11, because it does not support Windows Vista 64-bit. So now what am I supposed to do?

    I have Windows Vista 64-bit. I can not play online games on Pogo. I have already contacted Pogo & they have update me of flash player. Firefox disabled by the Flash plugin. I can't update Adobe flash player because it does not support 64-bit.

  • Flash Player installs fine, but does not work in firefox

    Adobe flash player doesn't seem to work on my firefox. I try to watch anything that uses the flash and he suggests that install it. I have re-installed flash and shockwave flash as well as firefox about 5 times now. nothing works. It seems to work on Google chrome, but I want to continue to use firefox.

    Searching the Internet has failed me, and I can't find all the topics with solutions.

    I hope someone here can help or at least point me in the right direction.

    I had the same problem you had for a long time until I found this forum Vincent. Little by little, I've collected some clues and I hope not too late to share my research with you. Heres how I fixed thanks to Carl E. Myers, who gave me the answers to identify the problem.

    The way in which I discovered that the problem is when I saw the control/flashplayer Panel noted Carl E, the Flash ActiveX and plugin are not installed as 32 bits in which I will explain later. From what you post, it's very likely your problem as well.

    so here's how to solve this problem:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

    1. on this page, you will see

    Download Windows Flash Player (for IE) 11.2 ActiveX control content debugger (EXE, 3.93 MB)

    Download and installation

    2. the same page, you will see

    Download the Windows Flash Player 11.2 Plugin (for Netscape compatible browsers) content debugger

    That should do it. Why?

    Flash from Adobe installed as a 64-bit installation!

    Your computer is a 64-bit, like mine, so that's why ie and firefox are not picking up our installation of Adobe Flash, because Adobe Flash automatically installs on windows system you are running. It's a big problem we users of 64-bit because some applications are NOT 64 bit but more so compatible (if necessary). For example, Mozilla Waterfox is a 64-bit application that is built to our windows and you would see that the flash would work without problem because flash has been installed as a 64-bit. In addition, IE64bit, another proof that should be able to achieve as well, but not to be confused with IE as it is a 32-bit application.

    Plugins and activex controls you have installed are manual installation 32 bit and that you now understand why it will now work for firefox, ie and other browsers 32 bits that needed it. Apples to apples now.

    PS even if which should fix, I highly recommend using Waterfox instead of Firefox because it is surprisingly fast and way better live for your windows.

  • Flash Player 9 - broken getURL does not given

    Recently updated Flash Player (v9) has a new title 'improvement' that broke the getURL command behavior. Details can be found here http://www.adobe.com/go/50c1cf38. I tried to insert the piece of code that Adobe have suggested this will fix a web navigation bar on the page that contains my Flash component - in my case. But it doesn't seem to work.

    I have a page framed with two frames. The top of the page is the framework called 'flash' and the bottom of the page is named "main". Currently, my browser Flash screams of buttons to place other pages in the lower frame by using the script:

    on (release) {}
    getURL ("Products/products_overview.htm", "main");
    }

    where the 'main' is the name of the lower frame. But Flash Player 9 is the specification of the name of frame completely ignoring and target opening the page in a new window (opening on top of the original page of the frame). Here's how I implemented the solution of Adobe script, as shown in the technical Note in the HTML code of the page containing the Flash component:

    "< p align ="center"> < embed width ="800"height ="100"src="images/Flash/Hochiki_2007_Nav9b.swf "allowScriptAccess ="always"> < / embed < /p >

    Can someone please tell why this fix is still doesn't work DO NOT? Have I set up wrongly?

    Thanks Urami/Shane - you're right, the patch of script doesn't seem to work once that pages be 'published' on the server and as you watch them "on-line". I modified the code, leaving the last "embed" tag, such as FrontPage does not seem to like it. So the final code is the following:

    It's always the shit for us developers who want to get an overview of our pages in a browser BEFORE we publish - if your behaviour of the image is not displayed correctly, you can not test your web links very easily.

  • Flash player version 13.1 does not fuction, at all!

  • Flash Player and Vimeo, Youtube does not but don't?

    Hi guys,.

    We currently deploy Windows 7 out to all employees and student PCs, we had it on PC our service for the past year and have had no problems with Flash Player and Youtube.

    However, a guardian has reported that when they go to YouTube and select a video, it buffers, play a second or two and headed then towards "an error has occurred, please try again later."

    If we disable Shockwave Flash Object it redirects to the HTML5 Web site and which works very well.

    Software:

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

    CPU: Various (Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel i5, Intel Xeon E5

    RAM: 2-4 GB DDR2, 4 GB DDR3,

    Browser: IE10, Mozilla Firefox v19 and v24

    Adobe Flash Player ActiveX: v11.8.800.175

    Adobe Flash Player plugin: v11.8.800.168

    Diagnosis:

    • Tried completely uninstalling Adobe Flash Player, restart the PC, install Adobe Flash Player
    • Tried Adobe Flash Player version beta
    • Tried to disable hardware acceleration
    • Uninstalled IE10, tried on IE8, same problem
    • Tried to delete all the computer and user policies
    • Checked if it was a question VLAN, but happens on 10.32.x.x (student) and 10.64.x.x (staff)
    • Tried same question on IE9
    • Scroll along the search bar at the bottom shows all the stills is fine.
    • Enable ActiveX filtering solves the problem, but it's just because he goes to HTML5 too.

    Any help is appreciated

    Andy

    We have just recently at the bottom of a problem even incompatible by which we got the message "an error has occurred, Please Try Again Later". It was only a problem in Internet Explorer, and it turned to be that you should now have speakers/headphones plugged and recognized by Windows 7 to play a Youtube video. Given what you have said, is perhaps the cause of your problem?

  • Publish for Flash Player 11, video events does not

    I have a Flash project that I publish in Flash Player 11 in hopes of having better results of animation with best Flash Player 11 rendering capabilities.

    However, my video AS3 events now throw errors. These two event listeners raise the error.

    "Access to property may be undefined COMPLETE a reference of type static Class.

    "Property may be undefined PLAYING_STATE_ENTERED a static Class type reference.

    videoOverlay_mc.video_mc.addEventListener (VideoEvent.COMPLETE, fnc_endOfVideo)

    videoOverlay_mc.video_mc.addEventListener (VideoEvent.PLAYING_STATE_ENTERED, fnc_videoStart);

    If I publish as Flash Player 10.x events & headphones work fine.

    I tried to find documentation on Flash Player 11 what video of events and to use. Someone know where I can find it?

    The shows still the videoEvents API http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/ActionScript/3/FL/video/VideoEvent.htm l

    Thanks in advance for your reply,

    Zak

    Use the path of the full class, then.
