Flash Player version not correct?

First of all, for several weeks, I would get the dreaded '! ' symbol on all the videos requiring flash.  The videos wouldn't play until I want to reinstall Flash Player.  After a new installation everything would be fine, for a few days, and then the same thing would happen.

I have to close Internet Explorer and would open the Task Manager and end the process on Skype before it will allow me to install it.  If I install it and everything should work.

Then maybe the next day or a few days later it will happen again.

Today, even after reinstall, I get the message "your Flash plugin version is not compatible with the media player on this site."  Whereas it has always worked before.

Can someone help me?  Thank you

Solved...  I had a virus.

Name of the virus: data.rtbfy.com

Lack of information: http://www.malwarekillers.com/data-rtbfy-com-removal/#more-7350

I'll have to wait and see if the frequent crash is resolved, but I've done the manual correction described on the site above and once completed, the horse of wrong version for Flash I was getting was immediately solved.

Internet Explorer has been constantly tries to connect to data.rtbfy.com, and the Malwarebytes kept blocking creates a window on each attempt.  So I did some research "data.rtbfy.com" and found the resolution.

You can download the standalone player (projector) since https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Hey, if you don't mind, after return the version number of Kaspersky. Most of the users that I dealt with who had KIS, other than the URL Advisor had no problem with that. The fact that you do not have Add ons/plugins/extenstions of KIS makes it more confusing.

Now one of the AV and I think it's Norton, change the security settings for the Internet Zone. Go to tools, Internet Options and on the Security tab, make sure that it is set to medium.  Then try the video with KIS OFF. Then turn on KIS, try the video and then check your configuration to see if it has been amended.

Send me the version of KIS.

Also before you installed KIS, what anti-virus program you have and have you used a program to uninstall to uninstall completely?

    Thank you

  • ADOBE FLASH PLAYER IS NOT displayed on the modules, and even if I install it on my computer it syncs with Firefox to play movies

Vudu requires Adobe Flash Player for movies and gives me an error message saying that I need to upgrade to the latest version and it gives a link. When I followed the link and install the latest version, I still get the same message. I checked the Add-ons Firefox and Adobe Flash Player does not appear as an add-on available or plug-in. What is the problem?

    Hello

Make sure that you have downloaded the Flash Player right as Firefox uses a different plugin than Internet Explorer (which uses ActiveX).

  • Adobe Flash Player does not work in Win 10

I installed Windows 10 at the end of July and immediately noticed that I couldn't see all the videos and Adobe Flash Player does not seem to work, but the noise was present.  The video screen was a series of green lines and nothing visible.  I tried 10 IE and Mozilla Firefox, and neither wouldn't work.  I couldn't get any help from Microsoft, and on the community positions, is not any problem similar to mine.  Finally back to Win 7 Professional (easy to do) and no problems at all with the videos.  Ongoing MS do pop - ups ' "remind me to install Win 10, but until I think they corrected this problem, or at least acknowledged, I'll stick with Win 7.

In previous versions of windows, the adobe 'hardware acceleration' caused green screens often, try to change that if you can Flash W10.

See - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1927939?start=0&tstart=0 and follow up on the link for details and other things to test. Don't know which applies directly to W10 however, but it can at least give a few pointers.

  • Flash player is not installed

    Hello

I was using Internet Explorer 9 as my default browser. I downloaded Firefox and all imported via, but Adobe Flash Player is not on Firefox. It is required to manually install the plugin and when I click the icon, it does not install.

Since I have already installed, how can flash player that works fine in IE, I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash; an ActiveX version for IE only and a plug-in version for most of the other browsers like Firefox. On a Windows system, you must always update both individually. You do not have the Plugin installed for Firefox version.

    1. With Firefox, click the direct download link below and SAVE the download on your desktop, so you can find it later: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
    2. When the download is complete, close Firefox (file > button OR exit Firefox > exit)
    3. Click or double-click the file that you just saved on your desktop
      • In the install window that appears, select the check box to the left of "I read and...» "to place a check mark in the box of
      • The button 'Install' in the lower right corner is now highlighted, click it.
      • Installation is quick.
    4. Launch Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
    5. ActiveX for IE onlydirect link version: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

Sometimes I can watch videos. Most of the time... no way! What is the one & only solution that will solve it & fix it right & why I see some but not all? I'm not called a tech in Mumbai yet either! Reading of a manual is no solution. My old clumsy slow piece of crap PC NEVER made me this in. ' ed! • Adobe Flash Player does not work

I have down loaded many times flash player and adobe says it is now running, but it does not work. It does not appear in all programs, but if I remove programs it is there.   My printer is connected wireless and prints fine, when I try to scan the printer and the computer says that the other is not there.

Flash Player is a web browser instead of a standalone application, so it is not supposed to appear in all programs. To check that it is correctly installed:

-Go to Start-> Control Panel-> programs and features and check that it is registered.

-Open Internet Explorer and go to Manage Add-ons , select all add-ons from the drop-down list on the left, and then select toolbars and Extensions and check that you have Shockwave object shown at right and that it is enabled.

-Go to a Web site that uses Flash Player (like YouTube) and verify that you can watch videos, etc.

How your last comment regarding your printer/scanner related to Flash Player does not?
