  Let's try the following:

  1. Close the browser windows
  2. In Explorer, navigate to the following folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ (the best way to do this is to type %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the path of the Explorer bar).
  3. Remove the Macromedia folder
  4. Then, go to the Adobe folder and delete the folder 'Flash Player' inside.
  5. Finally, go to "c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash" and look for a file mms.cfg.  If it is present, please rename it.

  Once done, try those sites to reoffend.

  More than likely that the video is a format that is not supported on your system.

  Foe example... If the format is MOV, which is Apple's QuickTime format...

  I agree 100%. I'm airplaying of air iPad by using chrome to Apple TV tvOS 9.2. The flow of data downloads completely as indicated by the progress bar. Can manually advance to view individual images, but video will not play at all times. Airlplay utube on iPad app works fine, but the other videos are desperate! • Pavilion Desktop PC p7-1414: DVD will not play video

  All of a sudden my DVD will not play on my computer.  DVD will play the data but not video.  Check Device Manager, which States that the device is functioning properly.  Insert other discs that have always played, but now they are not. Videos will play, however, on television.  No new hardware installed to cause a conflict. Checking for updates for the driver, but there are no new updates/drivers to install.

  Media Player will not be able to play video files, if there are no required codecs or video format is not supported by Media Player.

  Windows Media Player 11 will not play DVD-video or video files from a SD card.  I tried several update codec options, but none were successful, including the option offered by Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en).  Windows tells me that a more recent update has been installed and refuses to go forward.

  ·         The DVD I get recognized by the computer?

  In the meantime, you can try to reduce hardware acceleration, and see if it resolves the problem. (Only if your video card supports hardware acceleration)

  a. open the screen resolution by clicking on the Start button, click Control Panel, and then under appearance and personalization, click adjust screen resolution.

  b. click on settings Advanced , the Troubleshooting tab and then click change settings.

  c. move the hardware acceleration slider toward none to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.

  d. click OKand then click restart now.

  I just recently changed computers (windows 7 to Windows 7) and when I re-installed first CS5.5 on my new computer the video in the timeline never plays.

  The video box timeline shows a graph in offline media even after all the media was reconnected.

  When I press play, the playhead moves, but he will play only the audio and only shows the graph of media for the video offline.   The administrator account was not used (giving permission to install FP); An anti-virus/Spyware program blocked the installation of it or maybe a registry problem. You might also have a Kill bit is enabled.

  What anti-virus/Spyware program is installed?

  Have you had a Virus/Malware issue? If so what program it deleted?
